This headset is great for entry gaming. The mic is in a great spot as well.

This Logitech headset was great at first, but then the mic stopped working as well as the audio. I tried everything to correct it, but had to return it.

The software that provides the 7.1 surround sound was extremely unreliable, often cutting out during the middle of gaming sessions and requiring a reboot of the software. In addition to this, the microphone constantly cuts in and out. Probably the worst issue was that the noise cancelling feature on the microphone does not work *at all* despite lots of researching online for solutions. This seems to be a really common complaint elsewhere. Finally, the microphone plays anything in the environment into the headset(!?!?!): so you hear yourself talking, you hear anything going on around you (since the noise cancellation does not work). All of this was on Windows 10 with the latest drivers/firmware provided by Logitech. This is all quite strange to me since I also use a Logitech gaming mouse/keyboard that I've really enjoyed having for 6-8 years with no issues. Maybe Logitech doesn't produce products of the same quality anymore.

The headset has a huge amount of problems, from the very beginning the ears would pop whenever the cord moved and it always had the effect like everything I listened to was the bathroom or a tunnel. The following day the mic basically ceased to work those who I talked to using the mic said it was muffled and half the time it didn't pick up what I said even when I had the sensitivity maxed. I didn't even own the thing for 24 hours before returning it for something that worked.
