Customers praise the G303 Daedalus Apex Optical Gaming Mouse for its exceptional DPI options, ease of use, and precise sensor. Many appreciate the lightweight design, customizable RGB lighting, and the accurate tracking. However, some users find the mouse to be smaller than expected, and a few have reported issues with the durability of the left click button. The number of buttons is also a point of contention for some users.

Good in-game performance. Personal taste? I prefer corded over wireless on pretty much everything so this was a must,

My son needed a mouse for his computer. It is a basic mouse nothing special. Customer service was average, no one helped us with selecting the item.

PROS: Excellent tracking, speed and accuracy / quality button-click feel, speed and response / changeable color, the "breathing" of the side LEDs is a nice touch / relatively light weight gives it fast response / excellent for claw or fingertip grip styles
CONS: The strange shape takes a bit of getting used to, but when you do, it's not really a con / palm-grip users may have difficulty, same for large handed users.
OVERALL: very comfortable and fast for my grip styles (claw and fingertip, no real preference). There are "bump-outs" on the sides about 1/3 of the length of the body from the bottom, perfect resting areas for my thumb and pinky. The ring finger rests just below the right button, and clicking feels very positive and quick. Tracking and movement is extremely accurate and fast. Very satisfied with this purchase, and price match saved me a few more beans.

This was sort of a "scratch my head" feeling when I saw it. It was $40, and the design was not really catching on, I talked to 2 great Best Buy Employee's at separate times, both stated that they used this very mouse and it never let them down, still running good to this day. So, what'd I do? I gave it a go. Man, was I surprised, this mouse is fantastic, the optical sensor's are top notch, it's light weight and it does not feel like a brick. The RGB lighting is defiantly a plus on the mouse as the LED's are very bright, and appealing. The mouse has many many DPI setting's, color options, programmable keys on the side, it's perfect if you're on a budget, yeah, the mouse isn't a Razor Mouse, but man it is really really good. Very pleased with this item, and for the price, I think it's a steal, if your thinking about it, just stop and go ahead and purchase this. Fantastic product.

Very nice click response, fits nicely in the hand(unless you have big hands, then it might not be so good for you), sensor reads on any surface, nice thick braided cable, and not overloaded with buttons that I don't need.

Best Mouse Logitech Has Ever Made, Hands Down

I myself have tried nearly every Logitech mouse there is since early 2000 as well as numerous top gaming mice from other brands since then and I can wholeheartedly say that there is no mouse currently that can compete with the g303 in terms of just shape, click-feel, mouse-feet or bottom of the mouse, aesthetics in terms of how the mouse looks but also just the amazing honeycomb light pattern on the sides, and just overall design.
Out of all of the mice I have tried in my life, the g303 is one of the best fitting and comfortable mice that I have ever used, period. when I grip this mouse, it just feels like a glove for my hand and I have medium-sized hands. When you grip this mouse, it kind of leaves your hand in 1 position, which is good because it improves accuracy and doesn't make your fingers or your hand slip off of the mouse. The keys on this mouse are soo good as they are very easily clickable, but not too sensitive either. I love the RGB honeycomb pattern on the sides, which I have set to slow cycling effect. I love it's simplistic design as I do not like too many unnecessary buttons and even left-handed people love this mouse as well as it is almost ambidextrous. I love how light the mouse is and the fact that it is not too tall so my hand always feels comfortable and doesn't get tired from long hours of usage. The sensor on this mouse is so responsive and accurate that it literally feels like I have an extra hand. Also, the software that Logitech provides for free with this mouse allows you to auto-tune your surface to the mouse, whether it be a hard or soft surface, which makes your mouse even slightly more accurate. I also love the smooth scroll wheel. Lastly, the 6 pads on the bottom of the mouse bottom surface are very nice as well since they provide good balance and it feels like butter when you slide this mouse across your mouse pad. None of the current Logitech mice have mouse feet on the bottom of their mice that are as good as the g303 mouse feet in my opinion. I mean seriously, I tried the g pro wireless recently and I really tried liking it. I tried using it for 2 months straight and just went straight back to the g303, because the g303 is just better. The new Logitech mice like the g pro wireless are too long, too tall for the hand, awful bland design and shape, awful mouse feet, it's like they went backwards in terms of quality after someone at Logitech decided to discontinue the g303 simply because of few quarters of bad sales and initial negative feedback even though people are still buying the g303 to this day for 10 times higher from third-party sellers because it's discontinued.
Some might say they hate the shape, but I love it personally and have seen tons of reviews on youtube and online in general where people praise the shape, especially people who have smaller to medium-sized hands. All of the current mice that Logitech has seem to be designed for larger hands in general and not many mice at all available from Logitech for smaller to medium-sized users. Also, some might say that this mouse is only popular due to some streamers using it exclusively, but I don't think this is the case either. I myself was not aware that some other people got this mouse only due to some streamers using it because I myself tried the g303 when it first came out to see if it was any good and I immediately loved everything about this mouse and still do.
It almost feels as if Logitech designed the perfect mouse in terms of shape, comfort, perfect bottom mouse feet, perfect aesthetics in terms of the honeycomb rgb pattern on the sides, perfect design overall and then decided they should discontinue the g303 by only judging a couple of quarters of bad sales or initial negative feedback/response. However, years went by and after people still buying the mouse discontinued, people realized it actually really is a good mouse. Other than this, I can't understand why Logitech even discontinued this mouse in the first place unless it was an issue of mass-producing it due to its high quality, but this doesn't make much sense to me either as there are more complex mice they have made that are still in production. Literally, the only thing I can even think of that is bad with this mouse is the reported rattle issues on it, which was actually fixed by Logitech a year after it's release. Also, the double click issue that happens on the mice after a few years of usage which can just be fixed by replacing the mouse switches anyway.
Anyway, it really is a shame that the g303 was discontinued because I can honestly say that this mouse is one of the best products that Logitech has ever put out and I really hope to see its returns one day. The g303 needs to come back as either a re-release for a wireless version with a better modern sensor but same design and shape OR at the least a re-stock. Those are my thoughts, I know some might disagree, but yes, there is still a large cult following for this mouse due to how amazing it is, just check the Logitech G or MouseReview Reddit or online in general and you will see there is still a huge demand for this mouse and it's for a good reason because it's an amazing mouse and needs to be released as wireless one day or at the least re-stocked

Not really good for Hardcore Gamers.

This is one of the least product that is completely different from the reviews. Though i am light to mediocre gamer, i still feel this is not the right mouse, being it's so light and not so good at FPS games. Though the RGB is a nice feature and the looks are sexy enough for gaming, it is small and light unlike other Gaming Mouses which doesn't suite for me atleast.

...and found out there's no such thing.
I tried the steelseries rival 300, death adder chroma, m65 pro and even the logitech g502 but, settled on this.
I fell in love with this mouse after a little while getting used to the feel of it. It's light and easy to grip once you learn where to put your fingers. The sensor is top notch and I can 180 with ease with just a flick of my wrist. The buttons have a nice clicky feel to them. The LEDs are classy and look nice without going over the top.
Most importantly...my aim has improved dramatically since I got the g303.
I highly recommend this mouse and would buy it again.

Great budget mouse for gaming

Usually these mice are around 40 dollars which is decent for an entry level mouse. The mouse is on the smaller side and fewer frills but still a solid device. It is quite accurate and precise without too much bulk or weight. On sale you can find it for $25 which makes it a bargain for a quality device which will last you a long time.

Beware of Defects and Warranty Service

This mouse is decent for general usage and even better for FPS type gaming. The narrow head allows people who tend to pinch when taking precise shots, etc. The left-click button started malfunctioning about a month into using it. For me, it was surprising considering I don't use it that heavily since I'm at work 60 hours out of the week. Every left click I made would register as a double-click and it was annoying to the point that the mouse is now useless. Now that's not all the reason to give this product a one star rating. The main reason why is that it took their support over a month to get back to me about my warranty claim and I'm not really able to do anything until they respond (in full). I'd consider changing my rating if they respond in earnest and in a timely manner. I'd be wary of their warranty support especially if it runs near the end of your product warranty. This product has a premium price and I expected better...

This mouse is the perfect fir for gaming, it fits so easily in your hand unlike bigger logitech mice and ESPECIALLY the deathadder series by razer. I couldn't recommend this mouse enough, the customization features are great and the lighting features are super cool!
