Customers are saying

Customers praise the G303 Daedalus Apex Optical Gaming Mouse for its exceptional DPI options, ease of use, and precise sensor. Many appreciate the lightweight design, customizable RGB lighting, and the accurate tracking. However, some users find the mouse to be smaller than expected, and a few have reported issues with the durability of the left click button. The number of buttons is also a point of contention for some users.

I picked this up at my local store while it was on sale a few weeks ago. I gave it a 5 because I really don't have a complaint about it. It has a nice braided cable that isn't obtrusive. It has plenty of customization options from the RGB lighting to the DPI settings. It's a tad bit small but I use more of a claw grip so it works for me. All in all if you need a really good mouse and you're on a budget this is the one to get.

The mouse was 50% off when I purchased it, so it was a great deal. It's really pretty, the program is easy to use, and slides smoothly.

Excellent price point for a solid gaming mouse. The bare minimum of a solid gaming mouse is DPI and this mouse certainly has it.

This mouse uses the tracking of a g502 mouse and is super precise. the buttons are super clicky and the rubber feet on the bottom stop it from jittering when typing, which is a problem I had on the g502, even though I use a low sensitivy. I recently realized that I had small hands and this mosue fits perfectly for me. I love this mouse. Keep the size in mind when purchasing this item, cause I can see people with large hands being cramped. Average size hands will be fine I bet, but it is a small mouse. .

It's all around great, if not perfect. As soon as you plug it in, it's ready to use. No need to wait for anything to load or install, it works right out of the box. Very comfortable for almost any hand, the extra button placement is great, and it works on any surface without issue. Sure you got to download the program to customize it's features, sadly it doesn't come with it, but its free and easy to get through the website.

I just got this mouse yesterday (3/18/2015), and honestly, it's one heck of a mouse. It is kinda small but I think if you're a claw grip user, it'll be fine.

i have tried several gaming mice and this is the best of all. the buttons on sides do not get in the way of my thumb or hinder my grip of the mouse. The wheel turns so smoothly compared to other gaming mice i feel as though i am using the wheel from a standard although the precision of the mouse and reactionary times to the clicking response is definitely a high end gaming mouse

I was looking for a decent wired mouse and this one was just about the best one I could find for the price. I don't necessarily use it for hardcore gaming or anything like that but for Oblivion and just day to day tasks it's great, very comfortable and the lighting and extra buttons are neat. Overall I'd buy it again if this one went out or broke.

This is one of the best and most responsive mice I've ever used. Sure it lights up but the click response and the weight... the fiber cable and right fit... if you think a mouse will make you win games, get this one. You can only perform well & do a great job with great tools. Perfect practice makes perfect. Good luck ;) Used in League of Legends.

    Good Deathadder alternative

I have been looking for a long time to find a replacement for my dying Razer Deathadder, but everything was just good enough, but not on par. I was satisfied with the Steelseries Diablo optical mouse for the past couple years but it started developing mouse scroll issues so it was time to look again. I also never use the buttons on the right side so I decided against getting another mouse like that. I was going to just get another DA, but bought this Logitech on sale to give it a shot. If you have a claw grip, it's a very good alternative to the Deathadder. Tracking is good, no drift, no snapping, and the RGB lighting is icing on the cake. If you palm your mouse the DA might be better, but I think I might actually prefer the Logitech G303 now.

My ring finger was getting bothered by traditionally-curved mice because of my more clamped grip that was developing. I originally thought this mouse would feel really pointy with its more angular look. But turns out the angles are right where your joints in your fingers are, so you get a suprisingly ergonomic feel to it. I recommend you try the mouse out in store if you're on the fence because of its shape. Lost 1 star for the lighting software being glitchy when trying to choose custom colors. The software in its current version has bugs where it occasionally gets the color selection slightly wrong when picking from the color wheel. For example, trying to select a purple color (half red, half blue) sometimes tends to be largely in favor of blue rather than an even amount of red and blue to color it. Or sometimes Orange is a bit on the red side and green isn't as bright as it should be. If you can manage to get the color you want, it'll stay that way though. I think the way it calculates what values to use is somehow miscalibrated, but you can eventually get the color you want by restarting the software and immediately choosing the color, or by picking some other colors on the color wheel until it randomly re-calibrates to the correct color you were looking for.

The included software is great for customizing your keys and lighting, swappable profiles per game, and hardware-wise the buttons feel great and are very responsive. No complaints with the movement tracking either. As a bonus, it looks great with the lighting. No complaints whatsoever.

The mouse has no acceleration and doesn't spin out. The tracking appears to work flawlessly, as there are no unexpected sudden movements while moving the cursor over 100+ hours of browsing the web and playing various games based heavily on mouse movement. The left and right mouse buttons are very responsive to the point where I accidentally actuated some of them when I first got this. The only con I could see is the very unusual shape. The back tapers extremely quickly and at a short distance, so it is either for claw-grip or fingertip grip only. A palm grip will not fit.

Great gaming mouse. Mouse is fast. Long non-twisting cord to make sure there is no lag in the signal (I had a lag with my wireless mouse). Didn't care about the changing colors. Not to many buttons, so it is not too complex, while still functional.
