I got this for 40 bucks during the black Friday special, but I would have paid full price if it didn't go on sale. The software to tinker with the settings is really easy to use as well. Feels nice in the hand, and the adjustable weights make it perfect for different needs. It works great with Final Fantasy 14, so I would imagine it to work well with other MMO games and any other game for that matter.

I love this mouse. The program took a minute to figure out what all the preset setting were, but the customization is amazing. I don't see a point in having the dpi even half the maximum, though. Its far too fast for me, but if you like the sensitivity extremely high this will work great. With all the weights in it, it has great balance. I do wish the mouse was a bit wider since I have large hands.

I came from using a Logitech G700s to this mouse. I looked around to see what was popular and wanted the large amount of programmable buttons and this is what I decided on. Its a great mouse but my pointer finger has a hard time and accidentally hits the extra buttons on left. I know this is just a training issue but i've been using it for 6 months and still hit those on accident. Love RGB, speed, dpi, and size. Only thing is not being wireless. The G700s was both. I knew what I was buying and didnt think it would be an issue but now i think i might get the Logitech G903. I think most users will love this mouse.

I've been a die-hard fan of Logitech products for a long time, not only because their quality control is pretty good, but also their excellent customer service as well. I owned a Logitech G9X before, and it went well until it has some problems with double click but only as fast tapping, which is not really comfortable for me since I play games a lot. That's why I file a warranty claim and surprisingly, Logitech sent me a G500s and did not even ask me to send the mouse back. However, the G500s is a tad heavier and the grip style doesn't fit mine, so I have to look for something new again. My opportunity came when this mouse was on sale at $55 at Bestbuy, and I bought it without hesitating. At first I still doubted in my mind about how my product will go. But after using for couple weeks, I can safely say that this is one of the best gaming mouse I've ever had. - Sensor: Optical, definitely top tier at the present, if not the best. Very precise, without acceleration. Although I must admit that some times the mouse I'm using does have some weird movements. I believe my mouse is defective in some way, and will get the replacement later on. - Switch: feels okay, but I often right click easily. I guess it's due to the design. The hyperscroll wheel is always a pleasure to use. - Build: Feels very sturdy and "mechanical". When it first came out, I thought this one is like a combination between Logitech and Mad Catz. The LED so far doesn't die yet. - Design: basically for Claw grip or Finger tip, and a little bit small to some people. - Feet: they looks kinda week and will get worn out in a while. When that time comes, you can go to ebay and search for G502 Teflon feet to fix your girl at a really cheap price. - Software: still one of the strong points from Logitech, the software lets you set up dpi, polling rate, and macro keys. I myself really like the fact that now I can control the volume of the computers via my mouse or even open some tasks. - Warranty: 3 years, which are great comparing to their competitors. Also, the Customer Service representatives are very active, and the process will not be a hassle at all. Overall, a great product. Definitely recommend. FYI, I owned Logitech MX518, Microsoft IE 3.0, Razer DeathAdder, Logitech G9X, Steelseries Sensei Raw, Logitech G500s, Logitech G602, Steelseries Rival. Was that enough credibility for this review? :)

Great, high quality, highly customizable mouse. Great feeling plastic. After 2 years of daily usage, the buttons are still good. I haven't had any double click issues. The mouse wheel still scrolls well and hasn't gotten stuck. I have big hands but that isn't a problem with this mouse. I can comfortably put my entire hand flat on the mouse without any overhang. It is kind of on the heavier side, especially considering that mice are currently trending towards being lighter. Highly customizable using Logitech's software. I have rebinded two of the left buttons so that I can go forwards and backwards when I'm on a browser. I absolutely love that feature, makes browsing just a bit more enjoyable and faster. I also love the feature that lets the scroll wheel freely spin. It makes navigating long websites easier.

I needed a larger mouse, my work requires me to use a mouse 8-10hrs a day and the one I was using was causing pain. Switched to this one (only high precision wireless I could find in the store) and am so glad I did. The large shape fits the hand wonderfully, the buttons can be programmed for AutoCAD functions, different modes (so I can change the DPI depending on what I'm doing). No problem with getting it to work with my computers as well, plug-n-play & a quick download from the Logitech site (make sure you reg - it's got a 3 yr warranty) and I was up and running. Also, they had a firmware flash ready.

I'm not even using this mouse for gaming even though that's its intended audience. I had been searching intently for years trying to find a replacement for my old Logitech Revolution MX; a very old wireless (proprietary) mouse with a bunch of buttons and, most importantly, infinite scroll. This finally replaced it, even though it's not wireless; it's just too good to care about that aspect. The mouse has removable and adjustable weights that you can insert into grooves in the bottom, so you can adjust not only the weight, but where the weight is distributed. The scroll can be either stopped by normal detents, or one button press and you're on infinite scroll, which I use all the time to get to the bottom of endlessly long web pages. It supports right and left scroll with the wheel. Another handy feature; you can map buttons to nearly anything. I have two mapped to DPI up and down so if I cant very high precision movement, but slow, couple presses and that's in place, or if I want normal speed, couple presses to raise it back. it's very comfortable for extended use. All in all just a really fantastic mouse.

Best mouse for photo processing software

Immensely satisfying; I having memory issues with short-cuts, I much prefer the natural extension of using this mouse. Programing the buttons supporting several profiles (I use 3: 2 for photo-editing, and business/home; it has me now interested in trying a game or two, too). I was planning on an 'ergo' mouse/trackball: tried 3, saw a review about using gaming mouse for photo-editing; so, tried, and wow....really nice, comfortable positioning -- I read a blog how to initially place the custom weights -- added an extra: mouse is 'neutrally' smooth, further enhanced by the cloth cord because it is't stiff; this mouse can be programed to what ever pad you use...it works. I mated it to the Logitech G240 cloth gaming pad--that purchased because of its design to support precision game playing -- perfect, smoothness for controlling/positioning photo-edit software tools....programing shortcuts and tool selections into select mouse buttons is awesome; software makes it relatively easy -- makes editing more fun, and efficient....and, I know this is silly, but, I really like how you can program a blue light to 'breath' inside it...I'm 62 years old....this should not be confined to your grandkids' use...get one...it and pad are the best---oh, I added a wrist pad, too -- perfect comfort for hours--though I should be getting out of the chair more often.

If you like gaming, especially FPS, and have medium size hands, this is the best mouse out there that I have tried hands down. The optical sensor that Logitech uses is one of the best, if not the best on the market right now. The only other mouse that has it is I believe the Corsair M65 Pro (new version with optical sensor, not the old with the laser sensor). This mouse is my daily driver and the RGB coloring looks fantastic if you want to match it to your other peripherals. Also all of the extra buttons are so useful. I have three different modes that I use, 1. Productivity 2. Casual Use 3. Gaming. The software is simple to use and if you have other Logitech peripherals you can color coordinate the RGB lighting effects which looks pretty cool. Also, the ergonomics are perfect IMO. So comfortable to use for hours and hours. If there was one thing that I wish Logitech would adjust on this mouse, it would be the scroll wheel. I love the way it feels and love that it has the infinite scroll wheel, but I'm not a fan of the metal coating as it gets slippery and sometimes my finger will slide off of it. If they put a rubber coating on it this mouse would be flawless. Overall, I would highly recommend this mouse to a beginner and advanced gamer.

Bought this mouse for my son, who wanted something with better dpi than the laser Logitech mouse he had been using before. The mouse initially felt light until all the weights were added. It feels responsive and glide nicely over many surfaces. The center scroll feel is metallic and doesn't scroll as easily as a rubberized surface scroll wheel, if your fingers are damp/sweaty, it might not work well... The mouse emits a pulsating light of different alternating colors. Overall, it was a good buy for the price, other than the feel of the scroll wheel, I have no complaints.

I bought this mouse as my old MS Sidewinder was around 5 or 6 years old now and I wanted something with a few more programmable buttons. The sensor is very accurate and more than fast enough if you feel the need to really ratchet up the dpi. It's a good size for my claw grip. I like the adjustable weights, though I wish that the weight cover would snap into place rather than be held in place with a magnet, but so far there haven't been any problems. I was sent the Spectrum model, and has color changing capabilities but is otherwise identical to the Core model. It does compliment my G510s keyboard nicely. The only minor quibble I have is that the mouse wheel has friction and frictionless mode.. When it's on the frictionless mode, the mouse wheel is comically easy to turn, even gravity will move it. When it's on friction mode, it's actually harder to move than a typical scroll wheel. I wish there was a middle-ground setting. Also the button used to change the modes feels a bit flimsy, but there have been no problems thus far with it. Overall there's a lot to like here. The mouse is fast, accurate, and the software is easy to use and allows for plenty of customization.

I've used budget mice before and decided that I should probably put more money into my investments so I bought this mouse. By far, this mouse has seen daily use for almost a year with no issues. It has a premium design and is amazing in terms of features and ease of use. It has included weights, a premium feel to it, a braided cable, and so many buttons to program. There is even a button to change the scroll style! There is even a dedicated sniper button (that I don't even use but it's still a great feature)! You can't go wrong with this mouse and RGB is definitely a plus to match your build. I've compared this to the Razer Deathadder and honestly, as someone who has big hands and a claw grip, this mouse is amazing.

I originally had a Corsair gaming mouse to go with my keyboard but it was knocked off my desk and had the plastic shatter. I wanted a new mouse that was sturdier with less seemingly superfluous pieces of plastic that did not actually do anything. If you want a mouse that has a million lights on it you're going to be disappointed. While one side does light up it's not that amazing of a display. What you lose in aesthetics you get back in solid weight and feel. The mouse is more streamlined and smaller which is good since it feels like gaming mice are getting clunkier with each iteration. The mouse comes with a bunch of metal weights that fit into a compartment that you can open on the bottom of the mouse. This allows you to find that perfect weight which I really appreciated. Has two side finger buttons, a (in my opinion useless) sniper button that turns the sensitivity to it's almost lowest setting, two sensitivity control buttons, and a steel mouse wheel that can be unclicked so you can spin it freely which is fun in a way. You can download the computer app that allows you to tweak the DPS until your heart's content with different profiles for specific games. The app also changes the colors on your mouse lights. All in all I'm very happy with this mouse and would recommend it over the pricier Razer and Corsair mice available on the market.

Awesome design, fits the shape of my hand nicely. Mouse has lights that you can change, my pc has red lights so I made the mouse red. Functionality is good. Reaction times are adequate. Its not heavy but if you like more weight to your mouse it comes with several weighted pieces of which you can insert into it. Also each button can be reprogrammed to your specifications.

I have used accessories from Razer and Logitech over the years and have enjoyed using them all. This mouse is the most comfortable I have ever used. The precision is astounding and it can really change the way you play first person shooters. If it is important to you, you can change the colors to match your other gear. I like the mouse. My Corsair scimitar that I had for less than a year crapped out. The scroll wheel stopped responding predictably which is apparently a common issue with Corsair nice im general. So never again with that. On to the Logitech. I bought for their well known reliability, it’s solid gaming performance, and because it was something like 35% off. I love it. Best mouse I’ve ever had. I really like the adjustable weights, and their software and especially their drivers are way better than Corsair’s garbage CUE. Seriously, that mouse was awful. It kept disconnecting alllllll the time. Logitech has it going on in a good way. Five stars.

I purchased this mouse a year ago for my husband for Christmas and he liked it so much that buying another was the obvious choice when the mouse in his office broke. The mouse has a great hand feel and is comfortable for many hand sizes, whether you have a husband or child sized hand, as well as everything in between. The mouse is perfect for gamers with it's numerous programmable buttons or just to be used in one's office for mundane tasks. The ability to add or redact weight enables the user to customize the mouse to fit their comfort. Terrific product, I'll be buying another one for my oldest son for Christmas.
