Pretty Satisfied
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I usually end up wasting my money on gaming mice and keyboards since I don't usually end up using all the extra fancy features they have. However, this mouse feels quite sturdy and has most additional buttons in convenient locations, rather than some crazy side keypad. I'm still not using the extra buttons very often, but that's mostly due to my general failure to adapt. The software is pretty standard and I didn't have too much trouble getting everything set up the way I wanted it. I did spend quite a while deciding on the right sensitivity level and choosing the right surface to recognize, but now that I have it works just fine. Also, I absolutely love the adjustable weight system. I've never had that in a mouse before and now I'll never go back. I use all of the weights and it really helps keep things steady for me. Overall it's a great mouse for the price I paid.

Excellent upgrade
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been using a Logitech G5 for years. Unfortunately, everything wears out eventually (in this case it was the cord fraying from nearly a decade of sliding over the corner of my desk). The fact that it lasted so long was a large part of my preference for Logitech products. However, I was already doubting I'd find something I'd like as much as my G5. I'd tried a couple of my friend's mice and never been tempted to change. Not having a choice, I was happy to see the G502 incorporates everything my old G5 had and improves on it. My favorite feature of both (and the main thing I was looking for in a replacement) was the adjustable weight. This has been improved upon by the ability to place the weights inside off-center in different configurations to alter the mouse's center of gravity, depending on your personal preference. The dpi adjustment is INCREDIBLY flexible with a wide range of adjustment and 5 separate presets, each of which is completely customizable. One thing that almost prevented my purchase was a problem with the display model. It may have just been the one in my Best Buy, but the mouse wheel was completely free-rolling. This would make certain tasks impossible, of course. It turns out that this is indeed a feature, but one that can be turned on and off on-the-fly. The shape is more ergonomic than the G5, as well. Although it took a bit of getting used to, I find that I can use it for much longer periods without discomfort. Oh, and the adjustable color of the indicator lights is just flash, imo, but it's pretty flash and kind of fun to play with. This also has available presets. Overall, yeah, love this mouse and Logitech scores again.

Excellent Mid/High End Gaming Mouse
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have used Logitech gaming products for well over 16 years. I have always loved their speakers, mice and head sets. I have used their keyboards but never any of the gaming ones I am sure those would hold up just as well. As for the Proteus Spectrum I am impressed and not at all surprised. Pros: Plenty of buttons very comfortable neat RGB effects on the G logo good feel and very tactile Cons only one I can think of is I wish It had a little more lighting Conclusion, If you want a good mouse you can keep for years BUY IT!

Great Mouse! Affordable and Customizable!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I looked through literally hundreds of mice before settling on this one.. It finally came down to this or the new Logitech G gaming series mouse. I'm glad I went with this mouse, it has the necessary buttons.. the lights.. adjustable weight.. one of the best mouse lasers on the market.. very good and extremely high or extremely low dpi sensitivity which you can adjust all of (except the weights are physical weights) within the Logitech Gaming application. It's a wonderful mouse and I'm glad I upgraded.

Excellent mouse
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After reading a lot of reviews and trying a few other nice I am very glad to have settled on this mode. The ability to add weight, and the overall feel is excellent. The software is first rate. It's precise and I can change the sensitivity on the fly. The only down side is the scroll wheel. When it's in the free scroll mode it's quiet and smooth, but the wheel will turn on its own as there's no resistance. You pretty much have to engage the friction mode to really use it.

Excellent Gamin Mouse
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Cons - Not totally intuitive as to how to change the movement speed settings. The scroll wheel also has no clicking, so it tends to just spin forever and ever, forcing you to zoom all the way in or all the way out. Pros - Nice weight customization. VERY comfortable. The side buttons are perfectly positioned for your thumb. I use them for push-to-talk and it's very easy.

Awesome gaming mouse!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really love this mouse and all of it's customizable features. I just came from using a simple 20 dollar optical sensor mouse with a it's highest dpi setting at 2400. I thought that was more than enough until I got this mouse and not I'm almost always at 2400 or 3000 bust sometimes use up to 4000 dpi while gaming. It's software is the best hands down and allows you to tune the mouse to any surface with a calibrating method that is simple and fast to use. I sound like an advertiser but I just really like this mouse. If you go in the store and hold it and like the feel then you'll like the mouse. My only complaint is that the led can't be changed from blue. Minor I know but it does bug me a bit.

My favorite current generation gaming mouse
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I own a lot of mice. I've used different brands but mainly stick with Logitech. I own several models, but had settled on the G9x which was an absolute dream to use with a claw grip. It was light without weights and configurable to taste, with a great laser sensor, on-the-fly adjustable DPI sensitivity settings that could be configured (5 options on-the-fly, set to whatever DPI you wanted each to be, sequentially switched by a rocker switch) and had onboard memory so it could be taken to any computer once configured and be ready to go. The G502 is basically the progression of this line of mice. It has a nice rubberized side coating for grip, an even more accurate sensor (up to 12000 DPI), extra buttons including the new "sniper button" that by default will instantly put you at a specific DPI setting of your choice, usually a low number like 200 DPI for really accurate aiming while zoomed in a game, though this button can be configured to whatever you want. The mouse has on-the-fly DPI switching as well, plus a number of extra buttons to program. The braided cables are always nice, and help keep the cable from snagging things on your desk as it adds both durability to the cable (protection) and makes it slicker so it doesn't grab onto things easily. This mouse also works great with a claw grip, but seems that it would be fine with a palm grip as well as it's slightly longer than the G9x was, but isn't overly tall like the G700, G500 series or G602 seem to be. My only gripe about this mouse is the base weight. With all the gear on it, 32-bit processor, memory, quality switches, etc., it's a tad on the heavy side, even without included adjustment weights. So far it hasn't caused any wrist or hand soreness, but it might not be the mouse for you if you like a really lightweight mouse. I will say the slight increase in weight does help make it stay put so you aren't having the cursor move slightly any time you pull your hand away from the mouse for any reason.

Great Gaming mouse
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have owned a lot of mice over the years. This is by far the best one. I had a G502 before but I had wanted a RGB version to match my system so I bought this and gave my wife my old G502. The software is simple, like most logitech software. It has plenty of DPI available for any gaming style and the weights help make the mouse feel better depending on your preference. I have big hands, most mice feel small but this one fits decently and is comfortable even after hours of gameplay. I would not second guess my decision and neither should you. It is well worth the price and will serve you well.

Best Gaming Mouse
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is best mouse I EVER HAD! I been using this mouse around 2 years or so Macro setting is great, very sturdy on hardwares, and most important part about this mouse is so COMFY for long period time of using. I have really smore hand. About similer or smaller than avg woman hands. I had g700 before which wasn't bad item, but too big for my hand. This G502 is just right size for my grip and can set to vary lightwaight for less stress on my wrist! I just bought for possible replacement of my old g502. This mouse is absolutely worth for keep several unit!

Best gaming mouse on the market right now
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Has one of the best gaming grade sensors, multiple programmable buttons, light weight (with all the weights removed of course) and great ergonomics. The cord is quality strength and does not kink. Left and right click feel very nice to press. Subtle RGB lighting, looks professional and not something that is gaudy and obnoxious. This is the predecessor to the "AK-47" of mice, this mice is piratical for all types of gaming. The multi programmable buttons make it perfect for RTS's, MMO's and games like fortnite where you have multiple key bindings certain actions. The keys are layed out in a manner that make it very easy to press and you don't have to think about which button you are pressing like the MMO mice from corsair and razer where there are so many on the side you can't really tell what button you are pressing. I have been using Logitech Gaming mice ever since the G500 came out and their software has drastically improved, especially their game detect system where the profile the mouse will automatically switch to the game when it gets launched. ONLY downside is the scroll wheel is all metal, which mean if you get sweaty fingers during gameplay you might have difficulty scrolling. However with my experience I rarely used the scroll wheel during any of my gameplay.

Excellent!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I've used Logitech G-Series mice for several years (since at least 2004). Recently, I wore out my G500 that I've had for 4 and a half years, and I decided to take advantage of Best Buy's Black Friday promotion. Picked the mouse up, and immediately tried it out in a session of Battlefield 4 (fully weighted, I like my mouse heavy). Amazingly responsive, and felt great in my hand. Used it on a Func Surface 1080 custom pad I've had for years, and it adapted readily to the pad surface. Very impressed (as usual) with Logitech's build quality and design. Definitely glad I stuck with em again.

Good gaming mouse
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Normally I'm not a Logitech fan but I liked the weight system this mouse had. I prefer heavier mice when I game. Personal preference I know but important for me. The mouse fits my hand well and the buttons are all within easy reach of my fingers. The lighting is fine, neat but not obnoxious which I prefer as well. The Logitech software has matured since the last time I used it. So far it's not too buggy but the mouse has forgotten a setting now and then so it's still a work in progress it seems. I've used a lot of mice and I would put this one in the top 5. Hopefully it lasts longer then my last Logitech.
