I needed to replace a mouse that finally gave up the ghost after a while. Decided to go wireless instead doing a wireless one and so far this one has worked really well for my needs, very responsive, great weight, and great amount of button on it that I can program for different games.

Man this mouse is perfect in every way. I almost bought the Razer Naga Chroma but couldn't accept the price of over $120 I did some research and found this G602 and after much debate i decided that it was the one. I really wanted a rechargeable mouse but why pay more when you can use rechargeable AAs?(I have a rechargeable battery unit) The feel is perfect for my larger than average hands and i definitely don't mind that it does not light since my hand will cover the mouse. It glides smooth on every service possible. 11 buttons is more than what i need for my basic gaming needs and most importantly, it is half the price of what the Razor Naga retails for.

I've always been against wireless mice, but this one is great. It's nice not having the wire altering the position of the mouse. And I get a great amount of life out of a single battery. Two batteries makes the mouse a little too heavy for my preference. AA, that is. The thumb buttons are a little oddly shaped, I wish they were a tiny bit easier to push and easier to distinguish which one you're touching, like having a notch on them like the F and J keys do. But it's nice having several thumb buttons. The naga was way too many, and I pushed them all every time I tried moving the mouse around. The scroll wheel button is really awesome, it has a nice click to it. Not too easy, not too hard. Scrolling is also awesome and spot on. I forget to turn it off all the time though, it gets great battery life considering that though. And it notifies me when it hits 20% and 5% so I'm not that jerk gamer who kills the group due to mouse battery failure. The ergonomics are really awesome. It has a mini thumb ledge rest area. I also really like the two buttons by my pointer finger. They have a nice response and I never hit them accidentally. I bound them to abilities in WoW. The software could be a little more simple = less things to move to change the precision/cursor speed. I guess if you understand what you're doing it would make it easier. But I haven't taken that time to figure it out. I like the windows method for that function. I had to redo my sensitivity settings when I moved my computer, for some reason. Shrug. I love it though. It's great. My past mice: G5 - I loved the thumb buttons on this one! And having a dedicated voice chat button that was set apart from the rest was amazing. MX518 - also great, but too simple for my needs. Razer Naga Some other earliest model Razer mouse

I use a mouse all day long at work - I am a software developer. Well, the one work provided was just the basic mouse that comes with a stock PC. So wanting wireless and more precision and accuracy - I gave this mouse a try. I have to say it is great. Smooth, responsive, accurate - all things you want. I've had it for a month now. It has worked flawlessly. Since I am not gaming, I really haven't used the extra buttons a lot - but the accuracy of the fly wheel makes it worth the price to me. I have to sometimes scroll through thousands of lines of source code - speed and precision of this mouse makes that a much easier chore. Also, after a month, no battery life issue.

I needed a wireless mouse for the office and have been most comfortable with Logitech gaming mice in the past. I was previously using a G500s but the cord would get in the way with my desk arrangement (MacBook Pro). The tracking accuracy of this mice is very good, as is expected by a gaming grade laser. The weight of the unit is solid, not too heavy but not light enough that it flies across the table with the slide-y but firm feet. I also love the thumb rest. It's a perfect day to day mouse that doubles as a solid FPS mouse on the go. Battery life is also fantastic so long as you turn off your mouse. The software can be a little fickle, but for most use the extra buttons aren't needed.

So I didnt really NEED a new mouse, but I've never had an actual WIRELESS gaming mouse, and with the reviews and the sale price I thought what the heck. Just to give you an idea of the type of use my mice (I have a few) go through, I game on PC approximately 4-5 hours about 4 days a week, and about 10 hours on the weekend. So my mice tend to generally get used a lot. The games vary from MMO's to FPS, so a mouse that is comfortable and precise are both things that I look for in a gaming mouse. Up to now I used about 3 different mice, all of which had their uses. I used a Logitech G600 MMO gaming mouse, a logitech G9 gaming mouse, and I rarely used my Razer Death Adder mouse (just wasn't comfortable). Out of the first two I loved the G9 the best, but unfortunately I wore it out. I was hard pressed to find a mouse I liked after that..that is, until I bought the G602. This mouse is fantastic. Feels great, left and right click are responsive, precision is great, weight also feels good (no physical weights like the G9 had, but you have the option to use 1 or 2 batteries depending on your preference), and what I thought would be the best part NO WIRES. Now, don't get me wrong no wires is fantastic, but the thing that sticks out the most is the BATTERY LIFE! This mouse has two modes, Performance and Endurance. Performance obviously turns up the dpi (to a very nice 2500 dpi) for fast response and accuracy, and also a whopping 250 battery life (with two batteries). You CAN change it to Endurance mode of you want more life out of it, BUT the mouse does turn itself off, stretching that potential 250 hours out. I bought this mouse on June 14, 2014 and today is July 18. I have YET to loose one bar on the battery. That's impressive. All in all I am super happy with this purchase. I am almost tempted to buy another in case the next model sky rockets if Logitech figures out the value people are getting out of this. Also I am using this on a windows 8.1 OS in case you were wondering about compatibility. One SMALL negative is using the wireless adapter. It didn't like the USB port I initially plugged it in to, and I ended up using the extension and connecting it to a USB port directly connected to the motherboard.. No problems whatsoever after that.

First off, if you're looking for a small, light-weight mouse, this is not it. It's a full sized mouse that feels perfectly at home as your main mouse. I mainly got it to use with a laptop because I prefer the larger feel of it over the "travel" mice. I like having the option to switch between the high-performance and eco mode (or whatever they call it). Most of the time I'm just doing business tasks with it so I keep it in "green" mode to lengthen battery life. Which is another thing I like about it. It has a long battery life and if it does die, it takes standard AA batteries, so I can quickly swap in some new ones. I'm still not totally used to all the G keys on the side. I like the added options, but the forward and backwards (for web browsing) are mapped there and it's easy to click the wrong key with your thumb. It's now awful, but it takes a little getting used to. Being able to set and change DPI on the mouse is super easy, so that's good. I have a G502 wired mouse as well and the G602 definitely feels heavier, has a larger arc to it (more ergonomic?), and feels like it takes a bit more force (not much) to left click. Overall, I enjoy the mouse and it performs excellent. I don't think I would make it my primary gaming mouse, but its nice to have "gaming performance" baked into my "work" mouse. You never know when that might come in handy.

I purchased this mouse for roughly $45 at that price point this mouse is an absolute steal. I haven't noticed any lag between mouse movements and their rendering on screen. The battery life has been solid so far, I'm still using the batteries that came with the mouse a month later with daily use. Button placement is intuitive and never in the way but, not hard to reach if you're trying to use them. Logitech's management software is easy navigate and use as well, All in all, I've got no regrets about this purchase and highly recommend it.

So for this has been a good mouse. I'm medium to heavy gamer. A mouse is kind of a personal preference. To me this mouse has a good shape and weighs just about the right amount. It tracks well and I haven't had any issues with lag. Been using for a month and haven't had to replace the batteries yet. Has decent range. I can use in it in the living room with my tv about 10 feet away from my computer. The side buttons are solid but not in the way. I don't use the much so I like that the are in a position that doesn't bother ever day usage. The top buttons have a solid click and the scroll wheel seems accurate. It's not the perfect mouse for me but I'm extremely satisfied with the purchase and would make it again.

What really helps set the G602 apart is the balance it strikes between customizing, function, and feel. There seems to be just the right amount of hot keys for gaming; 6 right by the thumb, and their shape is the best for click confirmation and eliminating accidental clicks. Optical accuracy is excellent, and on-the-fly DPI changes are wonderful for both gaming and CAD work when extra precision is needed. Picked this up during Black Friday for $40, and it has proven to be easily worth its full retail value. As a side note, I tend to be a fingertip/light palm gamer, use random surfaces or specifically designed pads for optics, and regularly switch between laptop and desktop use. It has been exceedingly comfortable to use in all situations. Desktop functionality is through WIN7, 3 monitors. Laptop is through a Lenovo Y510p, also WIN7, and a 13" MacBook Pro, 2015, still on Yosemite. Excellent functionality on all platforms, and I'm a big fan of the extremely tiny footprint of the USB dongle; also enjoy that it can be safely stored inside the mouse for transit. Software use is primarily Autodesk, SolidWorks, and occasional Photoshop use; emphasis on general 3D modeling and 2D circuit drawings. Gaming involves RTS, FPS, and MOBA genres, with the occasional RPG and Minecraft shenanigans in the mix. After 3 weeks of solid daily use, I'm still on the manufacturer supplied Duracell batteries. Can only assume they have a lot of life left in them. Will likely switch to rechargeable versions later on.

First thing I noticed in upgrading to this mouse over a cheaper mouse was the accuracy I had in first person shooter games. Between the weight and the selectable DPI settings on the mouse I was able to hit long range sniper shots more frequently. It did take a bit to get used to holding the mouse with the lip on the bottom for the thumb rest but now that I have used this mouse, I do not think I can go back to a regular mouse. The plentiful amount of customizable buttons are a god send for PC gaming and I was surprise that being wireless has no effect on my gaming. No lag issues whatsoever. Highly recommend this wireless mouse, gaming will never be the same again.

    What a bargain

Well, the five star rating should pretty much say it all. I own a G900 Chaos Spectrum which is a good product, one that I gave four stars and I am reluctant to part with. However, the 900 simply didn't have enough programmable buttons, so I looked around feverishly for something that fulfilled this need. I researched a lot of gaming mice but in the end, this modestly priced older product was where I decided to pitch my tent and am I ever glad I did. I put A LOT of hours in on my gaming (many more than a healthy person should) and this mouse, which is in use a minimum of 12 hours a day (don't judge) has been on the same triple A batteries since day one! That's over two months of virtual constant use and the battery indicator still shows 33% battery life remaining!!! That's insane. The G602 is comfortable in my rather large hand, it's buttons are, for the most part (the placement of the G6 and G9 buttons could be improved), well placed and easily programmed via the Logitech Gaming Software. The G602s slower response time than it's counterpart the G900 Chaos (which is 400% more expensive) is imperceivable to me and certainly has NO effect on my gaming. The bottom line is, I simply like everything about this mouse better. Yes, I'll be keeping my G900 as a back up, but like any bench sitter, it will get very limited playtime. The G602 has earned it's permanent spot in my starting line-up.

Feels great in hand, light weight but had enough weight to be accurate. Insane battery life, at least 100 hours of use and I'm still on my first set of batteries. For this price its one of the better gaming mice on the market. Side buttons are useful and responsive. Cons are that the mouse wheel doesn't have any other features, it's not free flowing if you want that from a wheel.

I am a casual gamer mostly playing older games. I prefer a wireless mouse and not really talented enough to notice difference between wired and wireless. Got a great deal on this item from Best buy. Works fantastic. Really fit my hand perfectly. Superior to regular base line mouse I was using. Really like the programmable buttons. This actually blows away my Wired G502 gaming mouse. Wireless at 500 MHz has a great range and the mouse is auto tuned for different DPI speeds that can be adjusted by software. It is really geared towards large hands. None of the side buttons get in the way. I like the LED in the middle that can turn either blue or green. Nice touch Logitech.

I was looking into a new mouse as I'm new to pc gaming, I have the stock one that came with my pre built pc but I felt it wasn't responsive when shooting and moving around with pubg ( player unknowns battlegrounds) I looked around at different mouse, Mice on sale and this one I was iffy on, i was looking for more of a braided cable mouse, but I decided to go with this mouse based on reviews and the wireless part was the downside for me but i got to say, I play a lot of pubg hours and this mouse has lasted me since the day I've gotten it battery wise, it has a performance mode for gaming and endurance mode for battery life (non gaming) a lot of customisable buttons on the side is helpful. The first day I played with this mouse, I got 3 back to back cross bow kills in pubg, I was surprised from the responsiveness of it and how easy it is too hook up. Clicking on the mouse when shooting is great and seemless, I highly recommend this mouse to at least give it a try, it's improved my shooting a lot more.

I read alot of reviews of different gaming mice. This one was one of my top 3 choices. And I'm pleased with my decision. It is very comfortable and all the buttons re accessible for my small hands. The response time on FPS games is extraordinary fast. Don't see any lag. What sold me on this one was price (was on sale for $40), wireless because sometimes moving fast makes the cord flops around and distracts me, and fit. The proteus was my second choice but some of the buttons were hard to reach and the cord.... not a fan for cords. Playing with this mouse for hours has not cause my wrist any fatigue either. Highly recommend getting this if you are looking for a new mouse.

The only downside that i personally have against this mouse is the distance between mouse and receiver can be a little finicky, luckily it comes with an extension cord and because of this I rate it a 5. This is without a doubt an excellent gaming mouse. I play PUBG, Overwatch, Destiny, among other games, and let me tell you it is great. The Logitech interface program you download and install, although it may be a little tricky to figure out, is an excellent program to use along side the Logitech G602. The DPI adjuster and 6 buttons on the side are a game changer. This mouse is a perfect in between MMO's and FPS's. Between Performance mode and Endurance mode, I simply recommend you use Performance Mode. I use rechargeable batteries, and 2 fully charged batteries in Performance mode lasts 250 hours. 250 hours is MORE than enough for a hardcore gamer like myself. Loving this mouse. Absolutely recommend it!

This is a great mouse, with the right amount of buttons for MMO and FPS gamming. However, the config screen is a little confusing, and there is no sniper button for quickly steadying your sites in FPS. Average price, but one of the best wireless mouses I've seen for all around gaming.
