Poorly Built Headset

I went through two of these, and within 4-5 months, both cracked in the same spot. Luckily, Logitech Customer Support is really helpful and upgraded the model for me.

Posted .Hello, I am sorry to hear about the issue you are having with the headset! We can try a couple things! You may need to do a firmware update for this device. It can be found on the support page for this item on Logitech.com. It will be under downloads. You also may have just received a defective unit. This device comes with a 2 year warranty through Logitech. To make a claim, you will go to the same support page for this item. I hope this helps!

Quality Surround Sound Headset

Lightweight at 1.55 lbs, versatile for different devices such as PC, different gaming devices and/or mobile phone. This comes with 2 different plug in options - directly plugging into your USB port on your PC and/or directly to your phone. You can simultaneously use the mobile phone and play on your PC or gaming device so you won’t miss a call while gaming. Features: There are 3 programmable buttons on the headset for different settings (selected lighting colors and brightness, sound, etc). The headphones are adjustable for a comfortable fit. They come with 2 different plugs, one for your PC USB port and a 3.5 mm cable that can be used for smart phones, computers and other devices, but the lighting on the headset does not work with this cable. Your microphone folds up into your headset and is well hidden. There are sport mesh earpiece covers that are washable. Quality: I believe this headset is pro quality. It seems to be very durable. Once you have the surround sound set to your liking by the equalizer, you will not believe the sound that comes out of them. It is true surround sound. When using the microphone on the headset with my phone, I was told I sounded crystal clear. App: The G Hub can be downloaded from the Logitech site and from here you can adjust/customize your lighting and the surround sound. It has an adjustable equalizer. Spend some time customizing the sound and you will be extremely impressed with the sound that comes out of this gaming headset. This app also can be used to adjust your other newer Logitech devices, such a mouse or keyboard. Recommendation/Final Assessment: In my opinion these wired headphones are the BEST. Because they are wired, there is a more stable connection than you would get from wireless. It is very easy setup and with some fine tuning you have great true surround sound, customized lighting for gaming team colors, very versatile for different devices including PC, mobile, Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch compatible…what not to love!!!! I very highly recommend this particular headset.

Pretty good overall headset

One minor issue with the fit is when I turn my head to the side the cup will slightly lift away from my head and creates a slight drop in volume / loudness. Not horrible but worth mentioning. Mic is clear and works well. Friends have told me I sound loud and clear when talking online to them. I like the flip up to mute feature as well. Volume control knob on left can is easy to get to and a handy feature. I used the headset with my PC for gaming and listening to music and also used it with my mobile device for listening to music and making calls. The overall sound quality is pretty good while bass levels are very average. Probably neither the best nor the worst I have used with regard to sound quality. You won't be disappointed nor will you be blown away by the G432. On a computer I would recommend using the USB adapter over the 3.5mm mic/headphone splitter. The sound quality was noticably poorer using the splitter vs. connecting via USB adapter or plugging directly into mobile device with the 3.5mm TRRS connector. Another issue that I encountered was when I tried installing the GHub software to experiment with advanced settings. After installing on my Windows 10 PC it rendered the USB adapter totally inoperable. No troubleshooting that I tried was able to fix the problem. Only after uninstalling the software would the USB adapter work again.
