So far I’m pleased with this gaming headset. It has a good build quality and comfort. They can be used with the included USB dongle for surround sound using your PC, or you can use it without the USB dongle for use in all other electronic devices. The mic can be turned on or off by lifting it up to off mode, and down for on mode. Overall I like them.

Beautiful Design, Decent Comfort, Average Sound

Logitech - G635 Wired 7.1 Surround Sound Gaming Headset for PC with LIGHTSYNC RGB Lighting is a good entry level headset but with a bit of a steep price. The design, look and feel of the headset, is sturdy and looks premium with its matt and shiny black finish. Because of the finish you will notice fingerprints and scratches more though. Comfort is decent. After a few hours of use, ears can feel the weight. The ear boom pads are soft as well as the pad on the headband. It’s almost like a gel foam on the headband. The earpieces swivel inward to add more comfort for all type of head sizes and shapes, which is a plus. Ear boom pads are hand washable and dry fairly quickly. I rated the sound as average because the headset shines when using it on the PC, only. You can set the G buttons to different colors, commands, equalizer and audio, using the G Hub software. When used on a Xbox One or smartphone, it was just a normal headset, with really no options compared to the PC. Although this headset is advertised it can be used with Gaming Systems, Smartphones and PC, the only area it really shines is the PC. If you’re looking for a headset that does it for all systems, this isn’t the one you’d really want to look at. If you want something for the PC its a great choice because of the control and options you have, using the G Hub software.

Hello ScottLaRoc! Thanks for your feedback and for being a loyal Logitech customer. It is true that the G635 Wired 7.1 Surround Sound Gaming Headset for PC will definitely unveil all its power and performance on the PC, as like you mentioned, you'll be able to customize every little sound detail within the G Hub software thanks to the USB connection. Things like enabling the 7.1 Surround Sound, customizing each zone with different sound levels, equalizers, all of this. We also offer the option to connect the headset with any other devices that you have that's using the 3.5mm jack, but that will only offer Stereo Sound in this case. - Mathieu from Logitech

Hi Happy, I'm sorry that the G635 headset did not perform as expected with the XBOX One. This headset will work with XBOX and produce sound through the 3.5mm connection, but because XBOX doesn't support the usb connection it looses the 7.1 Surround Sound features. If you are wanting something that will work with an XBOX please check out the ASTRO line up for XBOX. Thanks for being a loyal Logitech customer. Kristi from Logitech.

Logitech Headset Upon opening the box, and removing the headset my first thought was that I had broken the headset. This is an odd design feature; however, it is a comfort feature that further adjusts to a specific head shape. In the box there is a auxiliary cord, and an adapter for an external microphone if one does not wish to use the attached mic. The overall sound quality of the headset is excellent. Even with a speaker playing music in the same room, I was able to clearly hear the audio of the game I was playing as well as in which direction the audio was coming from. Small sounds as simple as footsteps were crisp and easily identifiable, as if I myself was placed in the game. The microphone is also excellent for players that share a room with other people, or simply have thin walls, because it picks up only your voice, and even if you are speaking in a quiet tone it comes out clearly to other players. Overall, I was a little skeptical of the design but I definitely love it now. I would definitely recommend to friends and family and I would definitely purchase again!

I’ve used many types of headphones, headsets, earphones, and ear buds, but few accomplished ambient noise suppression quite like the G332 for under $400. I don’t think I would ever want complete isolation (I’d rather family members not have to throw something at me to get my attention), so I’m actually pretty picky about getting just the right amount. This is it. The mic-up-to-mute is a very elegant design: “I don’t want to talk/be heard” is accomplished by moving the voice input device (the microphone) away from the voice output device (your mouth). Simple, straightforward, intuitive. Wireless would certainly be a nice feature, especially if you are using a wired game controller (I am imagining getting frustrated by cables distracting me while I’m frantically trying to aim a rocket launcher at a giant demon who is about to stomp on me). Since I only use wireless game controllers, the single cable (headset-to-controller) is manageable. If I had been handed this headset and asked to guess the cost, I think I’d have gone to twice or triple the retail price.

    Solid mid-tier gaming headset

Logitech once again does well in supporting all levels of the gaming (or professional) market with this wired headset. Who prefers wires to get your audio in and out? If you're one of those who don't completely trust a wireless bridge to your headset, this could be the setup for you. Instead of relying upon a wireless mechanism, when plugging this headset into your PC, it's then operating system software that takes care of the fine tuning. As far as sound reproduction goes, this set is on average with a decent sound field; to be honest, if you're looking for excellent sound, you're going to have to pay more for it, simple as that. Regardless, this headset is painfully simple to set up -- plug it in to a dual earphone/mic-style jack (you'll need a splitter if your setup requires a mic and earphones to be plugged into two separate inputs) and let the operating system take care of the rest. Overall, I highly recommend this mid-tier gaming headset for anyone who simply needs to get the job done :)

I originally bought this headset for PC gaming, and have yet to try it with my Switch or the PS4. For PC gaming this works great! Very comfortable for long hours, and even with glasses on there is no pressure to the sides of your head. Sound quality is great. Also I love the style of these.

The Logitech G635 is a decent headset at this price point. While of plastic construction it does not feel flimsy nor cheap. One complaint I do have with the headset is the comfort factor, of course it could also just be the shape of my head. Sound quality is about average for a headset in this price range. Decent bass but a little tinty on the highs. When speaking over VOIP the folks on the other side said I was coming through very clear. An added little perk is that by sliding the mic boom up it automatically mutes the mic. Nice. So far I've connected this to both my iPhone and my PC via USB. In both instances the sound quality was rather consistent. I can see using this for a few years with satisfaction.
