These headphones had everything that I was looking for. Lightweight, comfortable, microphone and wireless.Sound quality is good too. I would have given it 4 stars instead of 3 if the wireless signal would stay connected. For me it sporadically disconnects, it's easy to turn it back on with the button on the headphones, but it is a annoyance.

This is an excellent headset for people that are constantly away from the keyboard. The G-Keys can be programmed via the Logitech software for the Push to Talk option on many VoIP clients. Range is fairly good depending on location. Though you can program the G-Keys for other functions and macros as well. 7.1 sound is good for a headset. If the buyer has a wide head, be careful to not open too far when taking off or putting on, just slide the headset around the head. Only gripe is dependent on the batch that the merchant received. Due to the 2.4GHz wireless freq band that it uses. If a microwave or router also uses this freq it will cause the headset to constantly cut off.

Got this for my husband for Christmas, his words: it's comfortable and the sound is good.

Very nice sound quality and battery life but these seem to turn off and on randomly.

Good sound quality and great durability. The use of headset while charging is major plus.

While the software/driver takes up a hefty amount of ram, it is a cool feature. The Speakers are crisp and responsive, but they lack volume and low end punch. This headset has some weight, but the battery life is amazing. Overall a good buy even with the higher price tag.

(Girl gamer? Care about aesthetics? See my side note at the end of this review) I have been wanting to purchase a headset for a long time to use for gaming that could also be used purely as headphones - for watching shows or listening to music. Previously, I just used my built-in microphone, as I game from a laptop. This microphone was really insufficient for gaming - many people could not hear me because there was so much background noise. So I went into a Best Buy to speak to someone about headsets. I asked a lot of questions, like what would be appropriate for my first gaming headset (nothing too fancy or expensive), what would be comfortable for extended periods of time (because I game for awhile or will sit and watch a movie and a couple of tv shows at a time), and whether it would be appropriate to invest in a wireless pair. This Logitech pair was one of the cheaper wireless headset options at the Best Buy I was at. It was a pair that came personally recommended by the Best Buy employee who was helping me - that was his first headset and so he could personally say it was comfortable, good quality, lasted him a long time. When I went in, I was really interested in getting a wireless pair. Yes - you have to plug it in and charge it, but that's really no problem since the pair holds charge for about 8 hours (I tried it one day when I played all day on the weekend). I'm INCREDIBLY happy that I got a wireless pair. I remember before purchasing this first headset, I would simply use ear buds to game. I kept having to take them in and out when I would have to get up - and while this didn't bother me, nor was it something I noticed, I can't IMAGINE going back to them now. Between raid targets (I play an MMO), I can easily get up, walk to the kitchen for some water/a snack, and sit right back down - all without missing any chatter in our voice chat channel about the next target. This has also been lovely for listening to music. I can wander around my apartment seamlessly, and I love it. I'm definitely a wireless headset convert. Additionally, I have keyed a button on the side as my push to talk button - which is also fantastic for walking around if I'm not immediately at my computer and someone needs an answer from me. Side note: I'm a female, and I'm not into those stupid, boy-ish looking headsets. Many companies easily get carried away with silly designs, especially ones that are very masculine and ugly. This headset is simple, functional, and while SLIGHTLY bulky, it was seriously the best aesthetic choice for me if you are concerned about that, like I am. I was considering buying the SteelSeries Siberia 800 because those are the sleekest looking headset I have ever seen, but I just couldn't wrap my head around the cost, even when it was on sale. This was definitely a solid first headset purchase for me and doesn't make me look like a complete idiot as a girl gamer.

Good functionality, stable connectivity ( but I also use 5GHZ ) connection on my laptop to prevent issues. Audio is good, nice bass as well. I'm sure there are better headphone/mic combos out there but certainly not in this price range. So unless you're up for dropping 250$ on a pair, I'd recommend these ones.

The Headset does a good job at what it's supposed to do and the software driven surround sounds really nice, the only issue i have come across is the drivers seem to have a default setting in them that auto turns off after a certain number of seconds without sound and windows sometimes doesn't load the drivers properly so it doesn't realize there is actually sound going to them.

Comfortable for about 2 hours then start cramping ears, sound quality is good and mic works fine. Still have issues switching between these and system speakers on PC (WIn 8.1 issue) but otherwise a decent pair of wireless desktop headphones

They are the forth pair of gaming headsets I have owned and are easily the most comfortable pair I have ever used. They apparently work well with a PC but I use them for PS4 so the volume control on the headset doesn't work nor do they sound as good as other surround sound headphones I have used when hooked up to the PS4. I suspect both are software/PS4 compatibility issues.

I was skeptical about this headset when first purchasing. The price was too good for what was offered. It turned out that they are as good as they say. Awesome surround sound that was instantly recognized by Win 8.1. The mic works awesome, as well. The only problem that I've noticed is with deep bass. It seems to crackle when the bass really kicks in. That's the only flaw that I've found though. Some things not on the box and caught me by surprise: turning the mic up disables it. you can see this by the red light on the tip of the mic. i didn't realize that it was muted the first time. Next would be the audible sound when the battery is running low. I thought I had an error window in Windows, but realized quickly that it was a battery warning. My brother-in-law bought the Astro A50 ($300) headset and said that he preferred the 7.1 surround of mine to his.

I bought this headset so that I could game without being tethered to my desk. The sound quality is fantastic, the range on the wireless is incredible, and the headset is comfortable and very noise cancelling. The biggest downside I had was getting it set up. The drivers installed, but some programs didn't want to use it, often even now I have to go to the audio settings in some programs and point the output to the headphones specifically because windows doesn't seem to want to use it as the default speakers even if I set them as the default. This is a minor issue though and the headset is really fantastic.

This headset has made an excellent addition to my gaming rig. The sound quality is excellent, and the simulated surround is quite effective. The wireless capability is also a plus, especially when you need to go get a drink or snack. I highly recommend this.

This is a great headset!! The only problem I had with it was with the software that they have you download. Once it was downloaded it would cause the sound to be distorted. Once I deleted the Logitech software the issue went away. But the headphones are great and comfortable!!

this is the pair we got instead of the razer and they work great! The sound and the microphone. The microphone had to be good and this one works great! You can also walk around away from the computer and still communicate good with the others online.

this headset is a good headset for wireless gaming. I have used many headsets and this one brings wireless to a whole new level. 7.1 surround sound with keys on the headset make this a great headset.

These work well and I've had no real problem with them. Sound is very good as is the range. Only issue I had was the first time the battery was getting low, they started beeping intermittently to let me know and I had no idea what the beeping was for.
