This headset has been incredibly useful to have now that I'm working from home due to Covid. The sound quality is great and I have received compliments on how clear my voice sounds from my coworkers. There are volume up/down controls and a mute button on the right ear piece. The cable contains a red LED that indicates when you've muted the headset. I rated this 4 stars because the red LED in my headset intermittently works. However, this does not affect the mute function.

The sound quality was good. The fit was a little slippery on my hair. I kept having to readjust during a call. Although the cushion is nice on the ears, I haven't used them all day and probably never will. I opted for corded for better sound quality and I had no dropouts during my Teams meetings. Overall, this is a good product.

I have now used this headset, daily, for the past two months. The sound is crisp. What I really like is that I can adjust the sound level with a touch of my index finger, up or down. I can also mute the mic with just a push of a button. Again, after two months, I really like this headset.

Very comfortable to wear. The sound is very good. It is a good headset for listening to music and videos. The volume adjustment on the ear is also easy t5o use.

My headphones are on point. They work better then expected. The sound that comes out from them is crisp. Definitely recommend them to other's.

Useful and dependable product. My online classes required usb headphone to work. This product worked wonderfully. Good sound. Controls on earpiece easy to use. Comfortable to wear for extended time periods.

The store didn't have the original lower priced set that I wanted so upgraded me to this one. Overall the sound quality is good. The headphones are larger than I wanted and a little hot to wear. I can't tell you if the microphone blocks out external sound but if it is positioned in a certain way you can hear your voice (kind of like your ears are stuffed up) which I found annoying. IMHO, not worth the extra price to upgrade from a basic one.

Great set of headphones. I only wear them for short 30 minute stints while doing lives on social media. Have also been using them to add audio to posts. The audio picks up my voice clearly. I can see where having them on for longer periods would cause sweating. However, for what I need.

I am using these for teleconferencing as well as listening to videos an audio presentations. They have good sound quality both inbound and outbound. They are pretty comfortable, though not quite as comfortable as my Jabra headset. Also, unlike my Jabra headset, the earphones do not rotate to a make the unit flat for easier transportation in a backpack/messenger bag - they take up more room. However, for my regular, non-travel needs they work fine.

These are the best headphones as I use them for work answering calls and I just love them. They are comfortable, lightweight, and noise cancelling. I highly recommend them!!

The headphones have great sound; Inexpensive; Not meant for small heads, as they fit loosely; You can still hear outside noise.

This head set is great for the average gamer and pc user. Audio quality is great for the price and the microphone is crisp and clear. My last pair lasted for 2 1/2 years and will definitely buy another of my new one breaks!

The sound clarity is fantastic. The output from the headphones and the mic clarity is spot on. However, there are a couple of design issues that really have me considering returning it. First, the cord comes out of the right side, is not reversible and the cord is extremely stiff and is very in the way of my mousing arm. The mute and volume controls aren't inline, which I can live with since it has a great inline LED that notifies you when muted. Now the killer problem. The line noise when not muted is awful. Even the slightest brush on the cord blasts through your headphones. Moving your head left and right even slightly feeds back into the headphones and there's now way to adjust listen levels. I'm torn because I love the audio quality so much.

Excellent sound quality and all my coworkers say mic sounds crisp and clear. Very lightweight - doesn't feel burdensome nor does it make me sweat.

I wear a headset while working most of the day for conference calls. The sound is so clear. The headset is comfortable. Love the volume control and mute on the headset too, not longer on the wire.

This microphone is very comfortable to wear; I used it for a language class on line and had a very clear conversation.

I've had several pairs of these throughout the years. They've been produced for over a decade - and they are perfectly balanced for quality, price, and are pretty durable. If there ever was a wired headset I could say I love, the H540 is that headset. To me, it is the best designed all-rounder ever made.
