Virtually impossible to set up properly and tech help is no help at all! After spending 2.6 hrs on phone w/two different techs, I was still lacking a proper sync w/devices. Extremely frustrating and recommend one purchase another product!

I ordered a remote that belongs with the television I have got it was ok until I got the 1 for my television. And was not easy to work. So if your up in age it would not be good for you and if your not tech savvy don't get it.

VERY DISAPPOINTED. WORKED GOOD THE FIRST 30 DAYS THEN BECAME VERY UNRELIABLE. TV STOPS WORKING AND YOU MISS 5-15 MINUTES OF VIEWING, EVEN WHEN IT IS IN THE RECORD MODE. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND USE THE REMOTES THAT CAME WITH YOUR EQUIPMENT

Good Technical Support - and it needs it

I wanted one remote control that would control a TV/DVD player and DirecTV. I didn't think that should be that demanding. Getting it set up took 4 hours on the phone to technical support - the web interface was good - but unfortunately not successful. I am a PhD with engineering experience who has built and programmed computers so do not consider myself technically impaired. I have 4 units each now identically set up. They work most of the time, but frequently stop working and you have to press "help" and have it guide itself through setting itself up again - which it does - but it is time consuming. Not helped by one of the buttons sticking down frequently - a design / build error - it happens on all 4 units.

Seems to be a programming error in it. Before it starts you consistently have to go through a tutorial program that takes about 5 minutes. Bought it for my mother so she wouldn't have 4 remotes but she hates to us it now

It would have been better to have a hard copy of directions included with remote. Going back and forth to follow directions on line and program remote was confusing. I still don't have it programmed in a user friendly way.

Still trying to get it to control my AV Receiver (Pioneer Elite SC82 - problems switching between sources) and my DVR/Cable Box (Cisco Explorer 8742HDC - trouble paging thru guide / so far can only advance 1 channel at-a-time).

Bought this to use on a new 75" XBR and Samsung HT550. This works but has serious lag issues. I have attempted to program the delay on every setting and it makes no difference. Sony remotes suck so anything is better.

I will not buy this controller again. Its a button- you push it and it turns on. You push it again and it turns off. It broke too soon for such a simple operation. Too expensive for such a failure.

Worked great but now I'm getting an error code and will "boot loop" . Will try again because when it works, it's great. Have never had this issue with my 700 and I've had for 2+ years.

Does not work with current version of Silverlight

It took a long time to install software- I had a newer version of Microsoft silverlight and the logitech software required I uninstall the newer version and forced me to install an older version. Logitech should keep up with newer versions of silverlight. The installation was time consuming and frustrating as there was no "work around" to this. I was on hold for logitech tech support for 65 minutes and finally hung up and uninstalled silverlight to activate the remote. Installing software should not be this time consuming.

This particular remote was recommended to me, but it failed to work in terms of programming the multiple devices. Ended up selling it to my brother who already had one and was looking to replace it.

The fact that it does not always communicate on the 1st, 2nd... Try and I often have to use the HELP button to turn it on, off, and change from TV to movie, to games, etc.

After spending hours researching TV remote control devices, I selected the Harmony 650. Initially, setting up the device seemed simple. TV icons were loaded and favorite channels selected. Suddenly, remote control became erratic so I rechecked all settings using my laptop again. Same outcome. Deleted all settings and started from scratch again. Same outcome. Returned unit to Best Buy for credit which they performed with great customer service. I recommend AVOIDING this product. Incidentally, a relative of mine experienced the same frustrations.

I went through the online programming of the remote SEVERAL times. Bought on the recommendation of the Best Buy employee but could not easily switch between TV/Soundbar and Roku. Tried calling the company and they have no reps that speak English as their primary language and I could not understand them. Returned and bought a TV remote (previously lost) as it is easier to use a separate remote for each device than to use this one.

Not a fan of this thing, never wanted it but said I need it to make all things work. Ironic I guess it's called Harmony as it's anything but. (& creates a nagging wife). So when you hit off it won't shut off the directv box (genie we had to get to make things work); after 4 hrs the box will shut off due to inactivity. So now to turn on you need to hit help in order to turn on directv box on, did that fix the problem, yes thank you, do to energy saving we shut you box down for you, ok thanks can I watch tv now?...every time does get kinda old quick so I can see why the wife's annoyed.

Complicated and not user friendly but some competitor asking for over 300 bucks... It may be the temporary solution until prices and technology become more user friendly and cheaper

When attempting to program my Harmony replacement device, I couldn't get it like the old one. It was programmed by a Best Buy installer when he put in our home entertainment system. He did not save the program on line as he should have. When I went to Best Buy to get some help, I was told it would be $100 to have it programmed. This experience has resulted in the end of my doing business with Best Buy, except for warranties purchased on existing items in our home and prepaid items like games. Sorry this has happened Best Buy was one of my favorite stores.
