I was using 3 remotes to control 4 components. Now I'm using one and it works great. It takes a little time to get everything programed, but if you can use a computer you can get it done. If I did have a complaint it would be the limited capability to delay some commands that are sent. I have a Sony sound bar that after it powers up, 10 seconds later it defaults to the TV setting. I need it on the HDMI setting. This remote is not fancy enough to program it to send HDMI signal after 10 seconds. Very minor complaint. I just programed a button for this command. When it switches to TV, I mash the button and switch it back to HDMI. Pretty painless. Love this remote.

I am happy with my new Harmony remote. I bought it to replace an older version that after 8 years wasn't working anymore. The new remote is more sensitive to how the remote is pointed at the tv, dvr,... We have to be careful to hold it pointing directly at the devices until all are fully on/off. Otherwise, it is an excellent remote that makes the process of turning on 3 devices just to watch TV a one button process, including setting the input selections when switching from watching cable TV to DVD player. Easy online setup.

This model is replacing an older Logitech remote for me. It was much easier to set up than the previous model I had. In about 10 minutes, I had everything set up. Handled my Samsung TV, Panasonic BluRay, Dish DVR, Onkyo receiver, XBox 360 and Apple TV with ease. For the price, it is an excellent piece to add to the entertainment system. Do your homework before setting up and find the model numbers for your equipment. It will help to speed setup.

Controls everything! We use the Apple TV with our TV, the small apple remote is always getting lost. Plus, sets the tv to the correct input when we're ready to watch. Setup was easy.

I purchased this remote for my mother-in-law who is not very good with technology. This remote was easy to setup and it is easy for her to use. In fact, when something goes wrong with her home entertainment system, she is able to easily correct the issue using this remotes help abilities. This remote is not as full featured as my HarmonyOne remotes from 2009, but it perfectly meets her needs. I would recommend this for anyone who has a simpler system or who is worried about the system being overly complicated.

I picked this up to replace an older version remote which I loved. I was very skeptical due to the low price...assuming that Logitech must have left something out. I was completely wrong! This is a definite upgrade with smoother logic and fewer buttons required to do the same job. Since we owned one previously I was used to the macro running requiring you to keep the remote pointed at the devices until the process is complete, and this is no different. Setup was quite easy with the web interface... Love it!

This remote really is awesome...when it works. The Best Buy guys set this up for us when setting up our TV and it's really nice to be able to just push a button and have the TV adjust all settings to allow us to watch cable, watch a movie or play the Playstation. That being said, it almost never works on the first try. There is a help button you can push when not all components turn on but I wish we didn't have to push it every time. Example, the TV is turned off and we want to watch cable so we push the Watch TV button. The TV turns itself on and goes to input 1 which is the cable. Awesome...except the Bose sound bar didn't turn on too so now we have to push the help button. Ok no biggie, the sound bar is now on but the TV has turned itself on. The screen does ask if that fixed the problem and when I say no it goes through...is the Bose Sound System on? I select yes...is the Samsung TV on? I select no...did that fix the problem? It goes on like that until everything is on. Like I said, the remote will almost always fix the issue using the help button but going through all that completely defeats the purpose of having a single button that's supposed to get everything where it belongs. I might as well just have manually turned the TV on, turned it to the right input, turned the Bose on and watched TV. If the TV worked as it should every time I would give this a 5++ but it's spotty accuracy drops it down in my book! I would recommend this only because it's very nice to have one remote that operates all 3 of our systems (including our PS3) but it could definitely get better!

I absolutely love this remote control. As a matter of fact, we have it for both of our large Samsung Smart TV’s now. I like being able to switch from our Dish TV to Smart TV to video to our family wii with one click of the button! That being said, my husband does NOT like it, but he’s not writing the review. My only caution is that this remote is NOT for someone with little patience or a short fuse (which describes my husband well). He is constantly calling me into to the living room to help him with this remote. 9 times out of 10, the remote is functioning as it shoot… he just doesn’t have the patience to let it work from one function to the other.

Easy to program when hooked up to a computer. Hooked up Blue ray, stereo, tv on 1 button, Tv, cable box, stereo on another button.

Start this off by saying that I am a huge Logitech fan. I bought this for my second TV set, my first has a harmony 600. This is just as easy to program as any other one, since it is all done on computers. The range is great, battery's last forever, and it feels great in the hand, very well balanced that is. That said, there are a few things that bugged me about the remove, one of those things is not the remote's daily however 1. I did notice some lag when hitting buttons quickly. This is particularly obvious when using the volume keys to drop the volume down a lot at a time. This exists in my 600 as well 2. I had an issue with teaching it some commands from the original remote. I taught it the mute key from my original remote, and it accepted the command, but it does not want to shoot it out when pressed. This issue did NOT exist in my 600 3. The software to program the remote is a pain. It is set up to only allow 1 remote per email. So, I need to remember a separate email and password for each harmony remote that I have. Logitech replies by saying that it prevents the profiles fr getting crossed Overall, this remote is a great deal! It can do anything you want, it's cheap for what you get, and the minor flaws that I listed above are nothing compared to what you get out of it!

This is a great remote, however it is a bear to program. I had the Geek Squad program for me and it works very well. I currently am controlling my smart tv, a blue ray player, a receiver and a wii. If the remote gets out of sync., it will help you set things right again. Very easy to use. I gave it 4 stars because of the initial programming issue, but then, I am a Ludite when it comes to electronics.

Overall as a remote to control multiple devices in a mid-level home theater setup, this remote has been very satisfying to use. I have a somewhat complicated setup with a TV, A/V Receiver, DVR box, Blu-Ray player, media server computer, VCR, game console, and a record player all in one home theater setup. The remote works well to control all the devices I need it to control (no need to control the computer or game console). It's straightforward and easy to use after setup and just works. What I especially love about it is the ability to configure an activity like ("watch TV") such that the remote controls everything without having to switch between devices. (e.g. when I change the channel it knows that signal goes to the DVR, but when I change volume, it knows that signal goes to the receiver). Any time I've used a universal remote in the past, it would work to perform basic functions, but advanced functions like device settings, subtitles, etc. still required the original remote. NOT SO with the Harmony. It truly is a complete and robust replacement for all my other remotes, and I've been able to keep them in a box ever since I got the Harmony. The remote has a 5 device limit, which could be a problem for some people. Also the setup app is good, but configuring activities to EXACTLY match expectations can be difficult. (For instance, originally when I would switch from "Watch TV" to "Watch a movie," the remote would configure all the devices right, but turn off the TV.) Little quirks like that can certainly be ironed out, but it's not exactly straightforward how this should be done. Overall, though the device is great, especially for the price, and I have no hesitation recommending it.

Bought this remote to replace an older and more expensive Harmony remote that was on its last legs. This little remote does everything I want and does it flawlessly. It controls a simple home theater system consisting of a TV, audio receiver, cable box, and blue-ray DVD player. It was easy to set up and modify using the Harmony website. I had a small problem during activation and called the Harmony help desk. They were easy to reach and immediately solved my problem. This remote actually works better than the old one that cost more than twice as much. I'm very happy with it.

The remote was easy to program and controls the TV and Direct TV box with ease. Some problems controlling the VCR/DVD player.

This remote replaces 4 others and could easily replace more if I had more systems! I really like the configure and download capability to customize the remote screen.

This remote is easy to use and program. I have a components system and it was very easy to program the 650 to each function. I would recommend this remote to everyone.

Works well with my TV, DVD Player and Time Warner Cable box. Takes a little setup with a PC, but not difficult. Very Happy with this universal remote!

I purchased this remote after looking at several vendors and reviews. As I am finding more and more Best Buy pricing and support surpasses Ebay hands down. The remote was needed to control a Visio TV, Comcast DVR, Sony Receiver, Samsung Blue Ray, and a Home Theater PC. Using the simple online programming I was able to create commands for several devices using a single button. I was able to also include the house video surveillance system into the mix. The only minor improvement I would like is brighter back lighting on the remote buttons. I have purchased 2 more and love the ease and clarity of operation.

This thing has solved my multiple remote problems! So easy to set up on the computer. Works flawlessly with my Apple TV too. No more problems with losing that dumb remote.
