Good features, lights up upon picking up which aids in dark conditions. Harder to program than expected.

I had an older model Logitech remote that died. I replaced it with this model. Setup couldn't have been easier (maybe 15 minutes), particularly since the Logitech site saved all my a/v device model numbers.

I was looking for a universal remote that a techphobic wife could use and wasn't too expensive. Came across this Harmony Remote. Easy to program via the internet and, to my happy surprise, was able to program older things such as my NAD T763 receiver. It does a pretty good job figuring out which buttons should be controlled by what but doesn't give you all the choices you might want. Basic to medium control which is mostly fine. It also doesn't give you other options to delete steps in the standard setups. For example, I would want to keep the satellite box on for the TV Watching control so that I don't get the lag time and that programs are continuing to be rewinded on my dvr but it won't let me do it. There are sequences you can program but I haven't had much luck with that. The small screen isn't too helpful and you have to scroll to get what you want which isn't great either. However, as I said, it is a very good basic to moderate device which is very easy to us for everyday use.

This remote does exactly what it says it does. Best part about it, it works with AppleTV which is the main reason I purchased. Works great for all my other devices as well. Easy to set up and understand.

The only remote that I use. Very easy to setup and works with so many providers.

This was my first universal remote, so I was not sure what to expect. The size of the remote can be considered somewhat large. It will take you a few minutes to set up the remote. For each device that you want to the remote to control, you will need to obtain the serial number of the device. In my case, I wanted to connect a cable set-top, Blu-ray player, soundbar and tv. Therefore, I recorded the numbers for each device. Mines was not too bad to reach. Then, you log on to the website to set up the remote. There are options on the remote to pair multi devices so that you can hit one button. For instance, the "Watch Tv" function will turn on all devices needed to watch tv. Using the device could take some time to get used to. On the remote, you can select each device and turn on, turn off and or control it. I am still getting used to the features, but overall, it does what I want a universal remote to do.

This remote usually lasts anywhere from 2 to 5 years so average of 3.5 which is pretty good eventually if you use it as much as I do and have a big TV watcher yes the label on the buttons Will start to wear off or the spring underneath a button you would have to really push the button hard to make it work but that takes years of abuse so to me it’s worth it. It really is a great remote. Since 2013 I believe this is my third...so ..2.7? Give or take and that’s with constant use every day hours on end... so if you’re a sometimes TV watcher and you treat it very gently, you’ll probably get twice that amount of time out of it.

I was going nuts trying to function with multiple remotes for two smart televisions. I solved the problem by purchasing two of the Harmony 665 universal remotes. One of the best decisions I've ever made!

Wish they still made these. They are all I have used for years. Bought more used.

This remote is great - once programmed, it will JUST WORK at controlling your various devices. I love how I can press the "xbox" button and it changes the various settings on the TV etc to make it happen, as opposed to requiring 2-3 different remotes and me remembering what the right HDMI number was. Downsides: * this remote is infrared only. If you are used to a RF remote (like Roku) you'll have to remember to very carefully point it in the right direction * if you don't have line of sight to all devices, sometimes you can get stuck with a half state (TV switched but not your receiver for instance), and then you have to redo it. My recommendation is to get this one for a smaller room, but for a big living room, I recommend the logitech harmony companion which is RF

Replaced all 5 of our individual "clickers". Got schooled on its functions and use from the Geek Squad. What a pleasure to have only one controlling device for all of our sources that feed to the TV.

VIP help to all. After 2 months of frustration, I learned this base model with IR signal requires you must Point-And-Hold the remote midway between your components for 5 Seconds. I was only doing that for 2 seconds, and the gear would not all come on. I place the remote on my chair arm, and power on. 5 seconds seems like an eternity to most of us. The support site needs to tell the user more “basic” info. Full Disclosure - I am age 64 and use a new Yamaha sound bar, DVD player, and a 2008 Plasma t.v. that can only use a Toslink cable. Replaced my cheap old one with one from Bluerigger ($8.50 1 meter, the best). Steve W.

This was bought as a replacement for an earlier Harmony 650 remote, and it works exactly the same way. The earlier remote had developed problems with the buttons failing to work, and I wanted to be able to use this without a lot of re-programming. It turned out to be perfect for this, since the Logitech Harmony software recognized the new one, and loaded the configuration from the old one, which immediately worked perfectly. This isn't the most capable universal remote. It has no RF capability, which means it cannot control things like the Amazon Fire Stick, or any other radio-only device. But for even obscure devices using Infrared signalling, it works just fine. The Logitech website has the needed codes for thousands of devices, including my old Onkyo receiver.

The remote is multifunctional so is good to have in a time where multiple plugins are being used. There is a learning curve so be patient with yourself when first using this product. I like it a lot.

Had owned the silver one older model for few years now and it had gotten really slow plus the keys were not working due to usual wear and tear. I feel this one is even faster to respond. No complains.

Incredible remote. I wish they hadn't stopped making these

This remote control will make your life so much easier. So far it has worked with all my devices! The “help” feature on remote will always solve any issues. A must have if you use multiple devices!

Decent remote. Does what it's suppose to do. just with it had a cradle and not need AA batteries.

This Remote is the best we have owned as it is so very 'user friendly'. The screen, as does the Remote itself, has pictures and simple wording so there is no guessing as to which button does what.

Need a universal remote after adding a sound bar. Set up was fast and easy without any issues. The remote has a clear easy to read display that you can set up to your personal liking with features.
