This remote is great, and it definitely does what it’s supposed to do. The online program that sets up the functions is really easy to follow and helpfully full of detailed information on the product. The remote even learns when it is having issues turning on devices or switching inputs and it troubleshoots/problem solves all on its own to fix the issue (just follow the instructions on the screen of the remote).

This product is everything it is advertised to be. It is functional as well as ergonomically comfortable. It controls all the devices that I use on a daily basis very well the color black is my favorite color, so it matches everything in my library of video audio components.

I have used several universal remotes in the past. I like this one as I can control all of the theatre elements with one remote. However, it is not completely user-friendly and it does take a little bit of practice to be able to program it. My only concern is that I am not able to use it for programming my Roku

I got this to replace an 8 year old logitech remote. Setup was a breeze via my Windows10 computer. The only thing keeping this from being 5 stars, is that you CANNOT order the activities. So, my favorite is on the middle of the order and I can't put it on the main screen. I could do this on my remote from 2009.

Good remote if you are trying to manage several devices. The only reason for my 4 stars is durability.

Love this remote as it allows you to turn on /off and control EVERYTHING in your system (cable box, audio receiver, TV, DVD). It's super easy to program and use. Nice interface. Very sad Harmony decided to discontinue these remotes.

Purchased this remote for my mother in-law as she had at least 5 remotes for her living room. The setup process was easy and took me no longer than 15 minutes to have the remote programmed and working perfectly. Button layout requires a learning curve but other than that, the remote works flawlessly.

This remote is supposed to be universal. The installer didn't take too much time explaining it and how to work all the functions. When we turn the TV on, it should do everything but there is an extra two steps to get the volume on. It should have worked with our fire stick too but it doesn't.

This remote takes everything that was great with the 650, and makes it a little better looking. This remote is easy to program and is great for anyone who has a lot of equipment they just want to be able to control with one remote. The "help" button is great in case something doesn't turn on or switch inputs correctly. With simple yes or no questions the remote will get the system back up and running in no time! I don't know what i ever did before my harmony remote.

This remote has done me wonders after my dog at the remotes to various devices. The only issue I have with it is that it seems that you need to have the remote pointed directly at the tv for a pretty long time to get the desired result you've programmed. Otherwise it's awesome.

It takes a while to program and learn how to use this remote. You have to hook it up to your computer to program it and that takes longer than I would have liked. Once you have an opportunity to play with it and spend some time learning what everything does, it’s not too bad.

I was a little intimidated at first because you had to program in all of your devices but it actually was very simple and user friendly. I have multiple TV's throughout my house and i love that i can control them all from anywhere and it was easy for my daughter to learn it!

We returned this item and traded it in on a much more robust remote control system. I'm sure this one would have worked just fine if we had kept and used it, we just wanted something to control more products.

Nice remote to control multiple devices

Nice to be able to use one remote to control multiple devices. Easy to set up devices through the online setup - just make sure you have your device model numbers available and which devices are needed to be available for the requested function when using the 'one button' function. Was not successful in using the one button function like 'watch tv' as the order that devices are powered up and other options (like setting inputs) prior to powering up other devices was important in getting everything connected properly. That being saiid, it was still nice to have one remote to control 5-6 devices. The hardest obstacle to overcome will be to show my significant other how to use the one remote to control all of the devices...

This was my first universal remote and I'm glad I got it. It was easy to set up my home theater components and viewing modes. Most functions of the original remotes are duplicated on the Harmony remote but there are a few that you will still need the original remote. Had a couple of glitches when I first used it but the remote assistant resolved the issues easily. A definite hit with my wife sinc now she only needs the one remote.

looking to integrate a cable box and bose sound system. worked very well and didn't have to spend a ton on remote. With kids around, something that works as well as this and you don't have to worry about them breaking it a huge benefit. Set up was easy as well.

This is a purchased I have procrastinated about for quite awhile. Good choice to minimize the number of remotes laying around. Has some valuable features that allow the user to add delays when turning on multiple devices so that they come on in the correct sequence for proper operation. I'm glad I finally made this purchase. It also works with our separate audio system that is separate from the television and sound bar.

THE GOOD: Fantastic device. Relatively simple to program (but takes some time, especially if programming and ordering/coordinating buttons to specific desired actions). Very easy to handle and operate. Very responsive in use. The backlights function well. The buttons are good. THE FLAW: The only glitch/annoyance is that it is impossible to program the order in which the (up to 10, on 5 "pages") selected devices show up on the main screen. The devices are organized randomly no matter how one titles/numbers them, etc. This turns out to be a very common complaint on other sites/reviews. I do not want my rarely used radio as device #1 on page #1, and my daily use TV instead as device #6 on page #3, but this is what I get no matter what. This flaw is a real bother, and a terrible design choice on Logitech's part considering their more expensive remotes of course allow for custom programming of the device display order exactly as one desires. I'm sure that Logitech could easily have made the 665 screen display order customizable as well. That flaw is very disappointing, hence the 4 stars. Call it 3.5 even. Also: Logitech Customer Service is non-existent, ergo non-helpful. Hence the more accurate 3.5....

Hi, we're glad to see you're enjoying the multiuse of your Harmony 665 remote. If you're having trouble getting the order of the devices straightened out, if you haven't already, you can click the "Help" button on the remote to see if it can resolve the issue for you. If that doesn't work, you can try to troubleshoot the issue with the Harmony support page here:https://support.myharmony.com/en-us/665?utm_source=logitech.com&utm_medium=global%20support%20link&utm_campaign=getting%20started%20-%20665. Hope that helps!

Although I'm a self-professed techie, for years I've suffered with many different remotes (DVR, Amplifier, TV, etc) to switch between devices. I recently assisted my aunt (who had an older version 650) and thought to myself - gee, this would make my life easier. And it does! Setup is easy: download the software (PC or Mac required), create an account on the Logitech website, connect the remote to your computer via the enclosed USB cable and then start entering your different devices into the remote. The software guides you along the way and it's oh-so-easy. You can configure the hot-key buttons along the top to do certain things quickly. The screen offers more activities that you can program/access. There are only 2 minor annoyances: 1) Once you've configured the remote, you save its settings directly to your Logitech account. As of Mar 2020, there's no way to save the remote's settings to a backup file on your computer. So you have to log into your Logitech account to modify the remotes settings. In my aunt's case, this was an inconvenience since she changed ISP's, forgot her old login information, so we had to create a new account (we couldn't click "I forgot my password" because they want to send the password link to the old ISP email address which doesn't exist anymore) and call Logitech customer support to transfer the remote's saved settings to the new account. They were extremely helpful, btw. 2) Another slight downside is that this unit doesn't speak to my PS4 Pro -- so all I can configure the remote single-button activity to do is turn on my amp, switch it to the PS4 input, and turn on the TV. I know, all I have to do is hit the PS4 button on the game controller to turn it on/wake it up, but that one extra step would've been nice. All-in-all, a very nice unit for a reasonable price. I didn't see a need to get one of their fancier hub-centric remotes.
