Harmony remotes are always great. Set up can be a bit convoluted, but once you have everything in their on line tool, it works well. I cannot imaging not having Harmony remotes in my home.

Great multi-device remote. Easy to set up...literally the hardest part was finding serial numbers on all my components. Works well - I have a Vizio sound bar, an LG tv, an Apple TV, and a samsung BluRay player. Oh...and a Comcast cable box. The ONLY thing I would be concerned about is if I decide to go crazy and buy a bunch more components. Also haven't found a way to monitor battery level, but I've been using it for like a month without a charge.

Love this remote! Went from TV, sound bar, BlueRay, and Satelite remotes sitting around everywhere to this one simple remote! Great function for all these pieces of equipment and I just added an Xbox One to it yesterday! This thing is awesome! My only complaint (and it's really no big deal to me) is that sometimes I struggle with getting the sound bar to come on when watching satellite because the receiver is not right next to the tv. I just have to turn it on via the simple on screen commands. Already been recommending this to friends!

The Harmony 700 is essentially a Harmony 650 that comes with rechargeable batteries that can be charged inside the remote. If you take the time, devices and activities can be highly customized, provided everything you control has IR functionality. However, certain rf/bluetooth only devices (e.g. FireTV, PS4/PS3) can be controlled by this remote with the addition of a device that confers IR control via an available USB port (google FLIRC). Button sequences (called macros) can also be programmed, which can further simplify tasks.

I now only have to use one remote to control my 8 devises. I have a Bose 120 system and the remote that came with it didn't work at all, but after getting it setup on the Harmony remote from the Logitech website, I can now control the Bose system. It is pretty easy to set up and get working. The only problem I have now is if I want to watch a program in the family room and the remote is in the Office or Bedroom I have to make a special trip to get it. I have solved that problem though because I bought a second Harmony remote.

This was my second Harmony remote. With the Harmony account already set up, setting this remote up was easy. I wish the off button on the remote was a little bigger but it works great and Harmony walks you through the set-up with ease.

Program this remote to do whatever you want. Everything comes with the remote to get you going. All you need is a computer and the model numbers of your equipment. Then add or remove functions as you please. Perfect!

We have tried many universal remotes in the last 20 years. This is now our third Harmony (second was an upgrade and this one is for the bedroom). No matter who comes over, they are instantly able to control the system. Setup is done on your computer and is as easy as telling it what you want to do (watch tv) and pick your devices from a list (tv, cable/satellite box, stereo). It even has a help button on the remote incase something doesn't turn on right... a few yes/no questions and you're back up and running!

I have owned several different Logitech Harmony remotes and like the customization afforded by the Harmony desktop software, making any button do any function. This has been limited somewhat in the new "app" software, but the core function of the remote to execute a "watch roku" command and set inputs, etc correctly is invaluable. I chose this over the 665 as it has rechargeable batteries. Very happy with purchase.

I typically only used a couple remotes to manage my system. Pick up one, set it, put it down, pick up last one... I purchased this somewhat on a whim especially since it had a very good price. I'm now spoiled with one remote that does it all and then some. I had it programmed by Geek Squad. I find the remote fairly easy to use. The "frustrating" part is learning where all the new buttons are. That'll come with time.

I purchased this for my in-laws who had 5 different remotes to accomplish simple tasks. They had the TV remote, cable remote, receiver, blu ray, and the surround sound remote. The setup is easy and straight forward. Find the model numbers and register them then set your commands. Now hey just hit watch TV and everything turns on for that setting automatically. Same with Watch a movie and one custom one to get to Netflix. Great product and it was a nice surprise that it includes rechargeable batteries.

This is a very good universal remote for the price. It was very easy to program and to set up to my system. Sometimes it does not always turn system if you don't point directly at them for enough time. But the help feature is very helpful and will get you going. Easy for the whole family to use even though they don't like technology.

I bought this remote because the stock one on my TV died. I was very pleasantly surprised to realize that this would also control my Xbox. It's definitely recommended for anyone who needs to be able to simply show family members and guests how to control a complex entertainment setup. Extra points for the customization through the software, the rechargeable batteries, and automated help feature. Which, if something doesn't turn on or off correctly will correct the issue automatically.

I have been a long time user of the Harmony One, but recently needed a universal remote for the conference room at my office. This does everything most users would ever want at 1/4 the price of the top of the line ones.

At first it felt weird, because the volume was on the other side than what i was used to, but now I can't imagine life without it. I have a soundbar and an hdmi switch, which was the main reason I wanted it because I was up to 4 remotes. This worked great on all, right out of the box. It doesn't do that thing that normal multi device ones tend to do, when the on/off gets out of sync, it actually sends just on or off signals, so even if they do get out of sync it auto corrects. Would highly recommend this.

Ive had one of these since 11/17. I’ve been really pleased with it. Recently I was having a programming issue with it, so bought another in case it couldn’t be fixed. But the GS fixed it. I could have returned the new one, but decided to keep it. Ended up getting it for an excellent price. If you need a lot of programming or have a lot of devices, this remote may not be for you. I had 8 or less devices, so this works great for me.

The Harmony remotes are the best ever and this 700 does it all. I have had a couple of these over the years and still come back to them because they do everything I want and more. The only thing is I wear them out where the buttons need to be pushed hard to do the command after 3 or 4 years. But when you find them on sale they are worth it when they need replaced.

To me the 700 is the sweet spot of Harmony remotes, between the super-expensive ones and the cheaper ones that require battery changes. It handles enough devices for most people, has plenty of buttons and goes several weeks of heavy use before I have to recharge it. I bought two because I see it is discontinued. My last one of these went several years before some of the buttons started wearing out. The setup can be a little long, but once it's done, you can forget about it.

The Geek Squad was hired to hang 3 TVs & set up my surround sound system. Since my current Logitech remote was outdated, I purchased a new one which was programmed on site. It works flawlessly!
