If I were going for just the Logitech Remote, I would pick a higher level remote controller. However, I wanted to be able to use my iPhone or iPad and the Logitech HUB works perfectly for that.

This remote hub is awesome it can just be a basic remote if you just want to use the included remote but when used with a smartphone or tablet it becomes an advanced remote letting you see and control everything. Don't get me wrong you can control everything with the remote but with no screen it's cumbersome.

Much better than the older one that came before it but again no back lighting!!!!!!!! PLEASE MAKE ONE THAT YOU CAN USE AT NIGHT!!!

All my AV equipment is behind cabinet doors and the RF remote controls the devices perfectly. Everything works great except the wifi programming of the receiver only works if you have a good wifi signal near the receiver. Other than that, I love it.

This is a great device for a connected home. If you have a lot of connected home items, then this is for you. I ended up returning it due to not having enough things to connect to it. My TV remote is just fine for my needs. Maybe in the future.

I have attempted for years to utilize the so called universal remotes that come with the devices and each one had its limits. I grew tired of certain devices not listed or not compatible with these remotes. Logitech harmony companion has solved my problem! Easy to set up, plug in play, and just works. The over all price point my seam a bit high, but you can find great sales if you just shop it. Four star only cause it will not pair with my Wemo devices, definitely not a deal breaker.

Rather than pay for an extra cable box, I split the signal from the box in my bedroom and share it in my office. The "normal" remote doesn't work through the wall, so rather than get up to go in the bedroom to change channels, I now have a remote that controls the box in the bedroom. Thanks to the Best Buy salesman for recommending the Logitech Harmony.

Loving this remote... So great to be able to control everything with 1 simple remote and It controls so many devices My TV and Tuner like any other universal remote, but it also controls my Roku, My shield TV and even my PS4..

Harmony remote is elegant, simple, multifunctional, easy to use and responsive.

this is an amazing product. works like a charm. The only critique I have is that the app for the HUB needs to be a little more stream lined/user friendly. Also, more streaming apps need to be added to the its library (PLEX)

I’ve had Harmony remotes in the past that, due to the need for connecting to a computer for updates, were not easily updatable or changeable. This remote is done much more easily through a fairly simple app. I have found with each of them, this one included, that there is always one device that doesn’t connect well and requires the regular use of a factory-supplied remote. Overall a good product, but not great.

I have owned a number of universal remotes, including some of the high end models such as the Philips Pronto series. This Harmony remote is my favorite. It was a breeze to program and the fact that it uses a radio signal from the device to the IR transmitter is great. I still point the control device at the tv out of habit, but it's not necessary. Excellent product and value.

Took a little bit to get setup but once it was it works great. Integrated it with Alexa so all I say is “Alexa turn on the basement” and it turns my lights on, TV on, DirecTv on and receiver on. I love it!

Great to get rid of all the remotes! Syncs with iPad and phone as well.

Very easy setup and easy acccess to many programs and apps

I'm a long-time user of Harmony remotes. They are outstanding to take the frustration out of controlling all of my home theatre and audio components, and to get rid of the clutter of remotes. I upgraded to the Harmony Hub so I could control my new Amazon Echo Dot and Philips Hue lights. One thing about Harmony products is they are SO easy to configure! You just select the brand and model of component you have, which inputs they use, and the "activities" you want ("Watch TV," "Watch a movie," "Listen to music," etc.) Since I was upgrading from another Harmony remote, all of my settings flowed across directly to this new one, so the setup was super-simple and took just a couple of minutes. But ...I had difficulty getting the remote to control my Tivo. In fact, it WOULDN'T control it at all. I went through most of the troubleshooting tips described on the Harmony website, but nothing worked. Finally, I logged a question on their user forum. In less than 1 hour, a Harmony service rep had responded to my post with more steps to try. It turns out this remote speaks 7 "languages" of IR (what's used to send the signals to the Hub to control your devices). I had reset/repaired the remote 3 times, not realizing there were 7 possible combinations. When I reset/repaired the 4th time, it worked. Persistence pays! Aside from that annoyance, the only other thing I don't like on this remote is the configuration of the buttons. This is probably a bigger issue to me because I'm used to having a Harmony remote with a built-in screen and "Help" menu button. This remote doesn't have a screen - just physical buttons. That makes the remote itself a little less configurable/flexible. However, the smartphone/tablet app provides all of those capabilities. Just not quite as handy as the onboard the remote. Now, when I press "Watch a movie," my BluRay player and TV come on and change to the correct inputs, and my Hue lights dim. Even better, I can say, "Alexa, tell Harmony to watch a movie," and all of that happens WITHOUT me having to touch the remote! So cool!
