I’ve setup many of these. They are very easy to program via the Harmony app especially to control 1 room of equipment. All the basic needed functions are on the companion remote and the app offers much more control. This system is great for equipment hidden away in a cabinet or closet and costs less than having to put in a IR repeater system.

I've had harmony remotes for many years. I upgraded to this one for the added lighting control buttons. I use philips hue lights with it. It's so simple to use, the kids and mother in law can even operate it. One simple remove rather than multiple large remotes work for 99.9% of the time. There are rare occasions I still get the original remote out. I now have two hubs in the house, and can select either one from the phone app.

I was replacing an older Logitech Harmony remote that had seen better days and I found a great replacement with the device. It quickly found my home network set up very easily. I also like that it is compatible with Amazon Alexa and it has been fun working with that integration too. I would highly recommend this remote to anyone interested in a great remote device that also comes at a reasonable price.

The Logitech remotes are pretty powerful but expensive. This is s good deal only when it's on sale

I run two of these hubs in my house: one in the LR and one in the Bedroom. Quick and easy programming. Use of smartphone and tablet as a remote a big plus. Love these!

I have gone from not being able to turn the tv or Sonos player on without my husband's help to full ability to watch tv alone. We used to have 4 remotes--this is so easy!! Love it!

It works well, set up was difficult. Spent an hour on the phone with a tech that struggled with English. It works about 90% of my smart TV functions. I still have to dig out my TV remote once in a while though. Wish it had back lighting, would be better.

I'm a long time supporter of Logitech and my recent purchase exceeds all expectations by eliminating over 12 other remote control devices in my living room alone.

This is the first remote that the whole family can use without issue. Touch whatever tv and all components respond, no worrying about keeping the remote pointed at the repeater.

I have a system with no internet connectivity . I was able to load the hub with devices while in town and had good WiFi. Easy enough to do so that it worked flawlessly even with out the ability to test. Only weakness of system is absence of backlight on remote. It’s a real drawback. But the system does what it’s supposed to do and is easy to set up

I love this thing. So much better than my Harmony 650. I no longer get calls at work from my frantic wife trying to watch something on one of our devices. The RF signal makes it work almost flawlessly. I don't even have line of sight for the hub. I do with that I had some same device level control as the older style Harmony remotes had. I have to go into the app for this, which is slow and sometime crashes on my phone. It also isn't the most intuitively laid out app imo. I'm still really happy that I ponied up the money for a new remote. It's made my complex home theater much easier for my family. My 5 year old can use it.

We recently purchased the Logitech Harmony Companion remote and use it to control our DVR, TV and Sound System. The keyboard layout is very well-designed and the features are excellent. We love the fact that we can push one button to turn our entire system on and then one button to shut down. We do have two issues; the remote keys are quite small and if you need to type in a channel number it is easy to hit the wrong key; the wireless hub has to be situated perfectly or you lose connectivity. Our accessories are in a glass-fronted TV cabinet and we have to keep the glass doors open and have the hub on a stand out front in order to pick up the signal. We have tried several arrangements with the hub and the IR mini blaster and are still having occasional issues. We will keep trying.

This Logitech Harmony Companion Remote comes with a remote, a hub and one IR Mini Blaster. It is easy to setup with a Harmony account and can be configured to control up to 8 devices, including smart switches, lights, etc. Harmony has an extensive database of devices so it is very likely that the device you want to control will be covered. Otherwise, you can utilize the learning functionality. The remote has responsive physical buttons, but has no touchscreen. The reason for 4 stars is because the remote is not backlit. Overall, it is a very functional remote. In addition, you can download a free Harmony App to setup as an equivalent remote on your mobile device.

Works great as a universal remote. I have it integrated with amazon echo which works well, although occasionally some of the voice commands don't work, like volume up and down. Android app is okay but web browser access is better. HDMI-CEC interferes with operation at times so ended up turning that off on TV and audio receiver. Probably more of a issue with HDMI-CEC then the harmony.

The remote works flawlessly I have multiple gaming consoles as well as hue lights and Sonos speakers and the remote takes care of all of them. Best bang for buck on the market

The Harmony Remote works great with Alexa. I only have to give verbal commands to operate my Sony TV, Direct TV, Comcast Cable TV and my Sony Blueray Player.
