Good step but poor execution

I already had a Zwave home automation system when I bought my Harmony Hub, so this was a great addition since it would let me control my lights. However, the experience when managing and controlling the Zwave devices is far less than ideal. It feels clunky and not all devices work with the Harmony Extender. Another miss was the lack of scene support with a Vera system. I have a scene for my theater lights on, off, and dim but there's not a way to simply run those scenes when certain things happen.
I actually ended up using a Hue emulator which runs on a home server and forwards commands to the correct devices and supports scenes. Best of all, this option was free. It does require some technical savviness to setup.

Hub Extender works as advertised. Its very easy to add to the system and configure. There are some distance limitations for some Z-Wave devices. Thats to be expected, especially if dealing with concrete walls.

Don't buy it. There are better hubs out there.

I bought this an then realized it wouldn't work with anything other than Logitech. Many other hubs (like Wink or SmartThings) will work with each other and the Amazon Echo and so on ... but not the Logitech hub. Since you can't share devices between this hub and others (I already have a Wink hub) I'm taking this one back.

We bought this device to control our tv with the amazon echo. It worked for about a day and has not worked since. If you want to play around with the device and you’re okay with a that then this is for you. It’s not worth my time.

Bought this so I could use my harmony ultimate to control the lights in my theater room, from dim to full brightness. Worked like a charm with new z-wave light switch.

Very easy to set up and use. Have only tried the lighting component but if everything else is as easy this will definitely but a great buy.

This controls a number of lights I've purchased for the house. Some are individual bulbs and on dimmer wall switch. All are Z-wave.

Was able to connect this to the Logitech Hub no problem and use IFTTT app to setup more complex home automation sequences.

I could not get it to work with all my z wave devices. Door locks would work, outlets not. Excluded and started over, outlets work but door locks won't. Tried Logitech support and they couldn't help. Brought it back for a Smartthings hub (that works great).

This extender is doing exactly what I bought it for which is to control Leviton Z-Wave enabled AC outlet module. It does that and works great. Setup was a little tricky because the Harmony Elite hub did not automatically recognize the extender as it was supposed to. I was able to figure out how to install it manually and from there it's been fine. I would have given 5 stars had it not been for the setup difficulties.

Honestly dissapointed with logitech on this one i bought because of my experience with the hub remotes compatability. I thought logitech would do the same with this but its very limited I'm a huge fan of the harmony line but i feel this product was left behind for whatever reason
