It's best value is for turning the appropriate units off and on in correct sequence. Don't put your old remotes away. Its still easier to use those remotes for anything other than turning off and on (which the Harmony does great). You won't need your old remotes often but don't put them in storage.

The hub is relatively easy to install and pair with Logitech remote controllers. Connecting with Amazon’s Alexa is somewhat more involved, it could be simplified. Until recently Alexa commands were very few, essentially just turning devices on and off, but, now compatible devices such as smart TVs have additional voice controls such as volume and channel changing. The Smart remote, though handy, has limited capabilities for controlling cable boxes since it does not seem to be able to bring up and navigate through the side panel guide that appears when the right pointing arrow is pressed on the original cable box remote.

Simple to use! This works great with my TV, Soundbar, and all gaming systems!

Todays home there is at least one room with more than just a tv and a cable box. We have an xbox, bluray player, surround receiver, cable box and tv in the living room. Setup is quick and easy. First glance at the remote, you think it's only three activities; however, each activity button can be programmed for two activities (press the activity button for 3 seconds and it does your second programmed activity).

This thing is super good! The IR blaster has not missed a single command (i use Alexa). What I’m bummed at is that i can’t use my voice to control my PS4. For example “Alexa start *game*). I had read somewhere that it could use the same commands as the ps camera. Haven’t been able to find out how. But this thing is still super cool. Controls my tv and rca speakers with ease. The reason i gave four stars rather than five is because when i try to edit an activity it says iPhone not conncected to same network when in fact it is. Other than that this thing is pretty cool.

I love the hub that comes with this bundle, it sends signals thru either IR, wireless or bluetooth, so almost any device works with it. The remote is kind of simple but it does the trick. You can also use your smartphone or tablet to control your devices with the hub as well. Overall its a great product and do recommend it.

This remote is great! It has all I need and nothing I don’t. I only have 4 devices to control (Samsung Smart TV, Visio Amp, Xfinity X1 Cable Box, and Samsung BluRay). This remote controls all of them. And I was able to copy the programming from my prior Logitech remote. But this one is much more convenient to reprogram or tweak. The old one had to be plugged into the computer to be reprogrammed. This one is done over WiFi from the Harmony iPhone App. You can also control your devices from the App. But I don’t see myself using that much at all. This remote also lets you program two functions to each button, one with a short press and one with a long press of the button. I have noticed one small bug. It does not remember that I programmed the DVR button either to activate the cable’s OnDemand or my TV’s Smart Hub, depending on long/short press. Other than that, this is a great remote!

I have had a Logitech 650 for several years and have been quite happy with it. Bought a new home and was setting up a new media room so I wanted to get another Logitech Harmony remote. I was going to get another 650 but saw this one on sale for the same price, so thought I'd give it a try. Setup was a piece of cake but after using it the first day or two, I wasn't sure if I really liked it as it's not real user friendly to use with a smartphone since you have to do a lot of scrolling to see all of the available functions. Then, I remembered I had an old Nexus 7 tablet stashed away that I wasn't using and loaded the Harmony app onto it and extremely happy with it now. The app gives you access to just about any function you could possibly need on any hardware ie. TV, Receiver, DVR / Cable Box, BluRay and even a Sony 4K Media device I got with my new 75" Sony TV. 6 programmed activities work fine for me (3 buttons with either tap or long press for total of 6). I thought that the included remote was too simplistic at first, but it works great in concert with the tablet for quick access to basic functions like volume, channel selection, on screen guide and more in a compact form factor. The hub works great too. Don't have to worry about pointing the remote at it at all and it's very unobtrusive. Comes with an IR blaster too, but I haven't had any need for that. Highly recommended...especially if you have an old unused tablet sitting around the house. My wife loves it too!

I owned the Logitech Harmony One since 2007. This year it stopped charging so it was time to upgrade, and this Harmony unit is wonderful. We have a TV, Cable box, Blu-Ray player, Receiver, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Wii-U, and Apple TV...the remote control dance would be daunting but the Harmony made everything easy. Now we either grab the remote, or nearest tablet or smartphone and have full easy control over everything.

Bought this remote to replace the one provided by our cable provider. This remote is simple to set up & simple to use. Also great that an app can be used on your phone or tablet rather than the remote itself. Definitely recommend this as a replacement for the poor quality remote provided by cable company. We use ours to operate a dvr, tv, blu ray player, surround sound system & for these few devices it works great.

Easy setup and works well with the remote to control all of your devices. If you are trying to use Alexa to control, it is glitchy. It till work fine then the next time you ask to change to a channel the echo will say no video skills enabled. hit or miss

This remote is fantastic. I have 3 of them in my home. Connects every device without line of sight so you can hide all your components. The app is great especially on the iPad. You can customize every button on the remote. I highly recommend this!

this is easy to use and works well. i can change channels and stuff with my phone. it's particularly good to have when i need to change channels before my wife catches me watching stuff she doesnt want me to watch. aka great american challenge videos.

GOOD: -Once configured, this device easily replaces a bunch of other remotes. -Hardware looks really great. -Lightweight RF remote. -Support for basic home automation stuff. BAD: -Software is absolutely terrible. And you must use it. -Max 8 devices can be added.

For the money it has great functionality and the hub makes it compatible with Amazon Echo and Google Home. Easy to setup and ease of use is ideal.

Online wizard for adding devices was super. Every device worked just like they were supposed to. Locating the base IR blaster is very flexible due to its strength. Had to figure out on my own to connect the base to a computer to set it up - nowhere was it made clear to do that. I literally thought I had a brick at first. Really Logitech? How about a little sticker on the unit that says plug this into a USB port on your PC to set it up? Also, the corded extension IR blaster is meant to sit on a flat surface and transmit to the TV. It was fine for a table top tv but would need to be substituted with a stick on kind for a wall mount. Works PS3's!

I have been looking for a long time and found this harmony that works with blue tooth and local WAN. Not need Internet over cloud to rely on 3rd party the full time. That what I like about. Easy set up either remote or use my iPad or iPhone. I recommend anyone get this.

I have used other universal systems before discovering the harmony line. After my first universal remote (650) was very impressed with the ease of set up and flexible functionality. I recently expanded to the Logitech - Harmony Smart Control - Black and was again equally impressed. excellent product at an appealing price. I highly recommend this product

I probably haven't read thru everything well enough and not using it to its max so that's on me. We have this to work with Alexa so it makes using all the devices easier. Wish it had netflix controls. Takes some getting used to but worth it.

My husband bought this for our living room to hide the Comcast box. Works really well. My Comcast box is in my basement and I have a stone wall with my tv and fire place and this works awesome! Worth the purchase.
