All I can say it is super easy setup and works with everything I want to run. I couldn’t find much on the IR blasters. The blaster cord is about 7 ft long. It reaches my TV that is about 25 feet away from the blaster. The hub itself has a built in blaster and works through the 1 shelf I have. The Harmony itself is awesome, 1 remote from the 5 previous remotes (TV, Forestick, DVD, AVR, cable Box). Do not hesitate to pull the trigger on this.

If you want to use your phone or iPad to control your tv this is a great inexpensive piece. For the money , harmony is the best all around tv controller. Using this with the great iPhone app allows you control of your tv and stereo from another room even changing channel and volume. It is worth the $49 I paid

This is easy to set up and use. You can use this with alexa and it works so easy. You do need to be specific when talking to alexa for the products that you have synced with this Hub. I am very happy I got this one.

This remote is excellent. Very easy to set up, and it controls all my devices without issue. You can also make your smart phone a remote as well. If you are in need of a universal remote at a decent price, I would give this one a shot.

There is a learning curve to the set up, and patience required for integrating some devices (Apple TV). The Device buttons are located to close to the Play controls, making it too easy to switch the device when you were actually trying to FF or RW or come out of either of those with Play. I've done it a lot and it is frustrating. All and all, I love it, but only because I've gotten used to it. I am marking "I would recommend to a friend" "Yes" but only to friends who have the patience. If you're looking for Plug and Play easy. This one is not for you.

Easy to set up, I can use my iphone or android tablet to control my system from anywhere in my house. The remote is compact and useful. It is easy to customize to your system, add delays special assignments etc. Great product

I love this 'smart controller'! <Pros> Due to so many remotes and brain damage to figure it all out, I used to avoid playing video games, watching movies, turning the stereo on for listening to music and TV surround sound - now I can do any and all of these things with the touch of ONE (1) button using ONE (1) remote or even my iphone... I don't even have to be in the same room or point at any of these devices to control them. Very James Bond indeed... <Cons> Only draw backs are it takes some time to set it up and it's a little glitchy which requires an occasional reset (simply unplug for a few seconds and plug back in).

This is my second Logitech Harmony Smart Control remote, and probably my tenth Logitech remote. Logitech makes the best remotes in the business, in my opinion. They are easy to program and work with a wide variety of products. I have had some issues with the macro function on this smart control remote that I've never had with any of the other units, but I just added it custom button to fix the problem. I use both the handheld remote and my phone or iPad, it's very convenient to have multiple options on what to use for your remote.

With the addition of being able to control my PS3, this remote does a great job controlling all of my equipment. The remote does a great job of controlling the projector, PS3, and amplifier. Cons: I didn't give it 5 stars because the iPhone interface could be better. All of the iPhone controls for each device are almost exactly the same. No thought was given to how you would actually use each device. You have to constantly flip screens to do the most basic tasks. The receiver volume controls are actually on 2 different screens.

This remote and the Logitech Hamrony Smart Control system make setup for multiple devices and tasks a breeze. The sheer volume of options you have to program devices - including delays for older televisions lacking a lot of smart connectivity - opened up our entire house to being programmable. My one quibble would be with command issues when connecting to our Google Home. Despite being setup properly, with designated activities, the Harmony has a hard time identifying tasks and oftentimes cannot complete a simple task such as turning on Netflix through our Roku - an activity that runs flawlessly through our saved activities. Other than that, setup was a breeze, the remote itself is simple, small, and well made. The fact that I was able to find this discounted to $69 made it a steal. Plus, IFTTT programmability makes this set - in theory - something that's well worth the investment.

I love the remote. If you only have one input to your tv, it’ll work great every time. However if using a projector with multiple inputs the remote may finish the startup sequence faster than your projector can switch inputs. There is a delay function, but that’s where it gets techy, plus you have to hold the remote in place during the delay. With all that said the remote is great and I love the one remote that replaces 5. The newer version has an optimized layout as well.

The Harmony Hub works great! I can now control my PS3 with the remote. All of my devices linked up with the hub. It is great and convenient to be able to use your phone to control everything. Highly recommended!

Remote could be back lit to help see in dark but otherwise works great. Even for my ps4.

I have been researching for about a year for a good replacement remote for my 8 year old Harmony 880. I came across this remote and was skeptical about a hub remote. After some research or reviews, I finally decided to get it and I am glad I did. I was really tired of losing my other remote. (kids) Sometimes we would have to look for while before we could watch TV or a Movie. This fixes the problem as the provided remote can be lost but you can still control your system with your phone or tablet. Setup: I would not recommend setting this remote up via a tablet or phone. I tried for about 5 min and gave up. The only true way to program the hub is by setting it up via the provided USB cable to your PC. Once I connected it to the my computer, I was able to set up 7 devices in about 20 min. Once my I finished my initial setup I went back through and tweaked a couple of things. One of the best setting I could tweak was the speed that the hub could fire off commands. I also liked the fact that you could setup your favorite channels and their corresponding icons. Since I have setup the remote, I have not had to make any changes. It has been a very easy remote to use via the provided remote and especially on my phone and tablet. I have an Android phone and tablet and my wife has an IPhone. The hub works great with all devices and all devices have all the same features. Harmony really made it very simple to work with. My young children one under the age of 2 have figured out how to turn the TV on and change it to their favorite channel. My only two complaints are as follows: 1. I wish their was a power off on the home screen instead of inside the menu. When I first started using the remote, that is where I always instinctually went to try and turn it off. (This is user preference for me) 2. Sometimes (Not very often) the Hub will lose connection with your phone. I have not been able to pinpoint the cause for this. This has been a great remote and was a breeze to setup. I am really not sure how people would have a hard time setting up or using this remote. Logitech really put some effort into this remote!

This is the perfect way to end the clutter of remotes in your living room. I have multiple devices that need to be set just right in order to use them. This takes all the commands for each device needed and puts them into one button. To watch a movie, it turns on my TV, it turns on my Blu-Ray player, turns on my A/V receiver and sets it to the BD input. When I decide to watch my Fire TV stick, it turns off the Blu-Ray player, sets the A/V receiver to the Fire TV Stick, and lets me use my smart phone as the remote for each of these devices. The included remote is not necessary with a smartphone, but it does come in handy sometimes. I have a stockpile of batteries for my remotes, but I never use the remotes that came with the devices anymore.

Initially had trouble syncing the hub with my router, however after getting them paired everything works nicely. Component setup is very straight forward. Stores 50 favorite TV channels and this function was easy to set up and works well. Have not been able to figure out how to control my receivers 2nd zone. Only comes with 1 remote IR blaster and would be much improved with a second blaster.

I'll start by saying that I'm a huge fan of the logitech remote controls. This remote is actually something that I was purchasing for my daughters (she's 4) room. I wanted something simple that she could watch her videos with on apple tv and I didnt wan the typical two remotes for her. It's perfect! She loves and no longer has to keep switching back and forth. I'm actually waiting until another best buy deal of day for the same remote for my parents.

Pros: Very easy set-up with iPhone app, simple design. Cons: Even with sensors placed as indicated, you must point the device in the direction of the sensors, unobstructed, and press buttons firmly. If the remote does not properly turn off or on a device, you will have to manually power on or off the device(s) in question to recalibrate it so it works. Would be better if the "off" button actually turned devices all devices off, regardless of whether a device is already in the off setting.

The hub was easy to configure with several devices, Vizio P Series TV, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Bose soundbar, and Dish Hopper. Everything works well except the Apple TV which is a little flaky (Apple never wants to play nice with other vendors). I am happy with my purchase and the remote greatly simplifies my entertainment system. Would have liked the remote to have a backlight but I use my iPhone to control the hub in a dark room.
