So, yes, its a bit of a pain actually getting the model numbers off of everything youre going to hook up to it. However, it makes up for it with the software. I went the computer hook up method as opposed to the app method for programming it (since I wanted to make sure it could get a firmware update if it needed it (which you cant do over the app)). It is as easy or easier than it looks. I cant even believe the thing will run an xbox and an appletv as well as my dish. Truly, one remote to rule them all...

I've been using Harmony Remotes for over 15 years now and this is definitely the Best (or Ultimate) remote in the market right now.

I had a professionally set up system including a remote that would control the system which is inside a closed cabinet. When the remote stopped working I thought I would have little choice but to spend the money to have a new custom remote installed. Doing my research online there were not a lot of options that are radio frequency capable to allow control of the components inside the cabinet. This remote does have RF capability which works well. The system was easier to set up than I anticipated. The only hiccup is that I could not set up the "favorites". A call to customer service was not able to resolve the issue but they forwarded my issue to an engineer and a scheduled phone call allowed a quick resolution. I have used the remote for a month with no complaints.

I've integrated and custom programmed over 30 Harmony remote controls in the past 5 years. no complaints here. my clients love them!

This works great. I have used the lower end ones in the past, and this one works off of wifi to sync things. Works very well.

I was skeptical about buying this remote after using a 890 Pro Harmony remote several years ago. The Harmony Ultimate Home is amazing. It controls all my home entertainment devices & even a 28 year old stereo system! Set up could not be easier- I did it all on my iPhone following the on screen steps. It is worth the money.

I have used Logitech Universal remotes for several years. Needed a new one and got $100 off of this. The form design and button locations are not the best. Also, touch screen can lag causing minor annoyances. Even with the discount I am not sure I can recommend it.

I took advantage of the rebate trade-in to get a more advanced model. I realized after I got home that I could have used this old remote to transfer setting to the new one. I tried my best but had to call in the Geek Squad. It took him over 90 minutes to set-up the 4 items I have. The IR remote makes a difference and works great.

The instructions for setting up the remote and hub were very clear and easy to follow. It required little to no troubleshooting afterwards. Response time is very fast between button pushes. I usually fully charge it Sunday night to Monday and the battery will last me all week. Also works great with my PlayStation.

I've had several generations of Harmony remotes and they all have been excellent. I just got 3 of these for my family room, office, and bedroom. They connect to your home wi-fi and support both IR and RF. Put the "puck" in sight and the two small blasters in your cabinet. You don't need to point the remote anywhere. Can also use your iPhone or iPad as the remote which works great. Home automation compatibility is growing, but right now I have 3 Nest thermostats attached which works great.

Setup was simple on iPhone app. Still need the computer for final setup. Much better functionality than my older remote.

The remote works really well. I had the old square Logitech Harmony 1100 and while it was nice, it definitely had a lot of flaws. The Ultimate Harmony Home got rid of almost all of these. The remote, home base, charger, and RF blasters made everything really easy to get started. It does take a while to get initially set up. I would feel ready to devote an hour minimum even if you already had a Harmony remote but the results are a fantastic remote that can you change the button inputs on the fly via an app on your smartphone. My only complaint is that my screen has a high pitched buzzing noise and I don't know what to do about it. Doesn't effect the device but just annoying since I can still hear in that range.

This remote can do it all!! use it in MANY installations. Easy to program and the touch screen makes it top of the list

This truly was an grade from our old Harmony remote. While the layout of the remote itself is a little off with the DVR controls at the top of the remote, it controls more items than expected. We may automate more as a result. The iOS app has made this purchase well worth the extra $ we had not planned on spending.
