With IFTTT, you can program an activity to start up automatically at a set time of day. Since Universal abandoned timers, this is a great feature. You can turn the activity with sleep timers up to 120 minutes in duration. I use my bedroom TV as an alarm which wakes me up to the local news

I ordered this on sale to upgrade from an older Logitech Harmony remote I've had for several years. Install was easy and instructions are guided as you go through on your phone. If you aren't used to using apps or tech then you may have a tough time for setup. The only con to this whole process was trying to get my old activities to transfer over to this remote, had to start from the beginning but the hub helps identify devices on your network. Integration with Alexa is nice, but the voice commands need a major update to make more sense.

we had an older harmony one that we used for years. It covered all the functions we needed but it finally died. This remote is so much faster and the software has been improved. No perceivable lag when using the hub and rf which was a complaint with our previous harmony remote.

This remote was purchased as as replacement for an older Logitech model. I set this remote up to execute a number of scenes such as "Watch AppleTV", "Listen to Podcast", "Watch Cable TV" etc and found the set up relatively quick and painless. I'm not controlling any household functions yet but I would highly recommend this remote to control your home theater system. The software easily recognized the menus and submenus for each component and added those functions to my remote's control screen. You do not need to be a technical genius to set this remote up but you may have to experiment with order in which your items turn on.

My Logitech Harmony One after many years started to have problems so I picked this one up. It's a great remote with some home automation capabilities. The partnering iDevice app and setup is kind of wonky. I can see it irritating some that aren't good with technology or have problems with patience. The remote has fulfilled all of my device needs. I wouldn't recommend this remote to a non-technical person.

Integrated my harmony hub with my Lutron lights and Alexa. Works great can now turn tv on/off with voice commands. Set up activities to turn on roku applications, set favorite channels, etc... It's an expensive remote but the convenience is worth it. The configuration takes a little trial and error but once you figure it out, it's not bad. I definitely recommend this product.

a little cumbersome to set up, but once going it seems fine. didn't have current cable channels for our area, so that added some work. support was good on email.

This is a great remote, but it does take a fair amount of time to configure it if you want it to do everything you want to control. Sure you can configure it in an hour, but if you want custom controls like I do, then you are looking at 3 plus hours, but I am picky.

Harmony remotes generally are pretty awesome, however I'm a little underwhelmed by this version. The price is high, I'm not sure why I can hear the screen when it's on, it requires weekly charging (compared to far less on previous models) and I have issues with it consistently failing to turn off (or on) my DirectTV DVR. These nagging issues prevent me from recommending this product.

Still getting used to it after a month. Does everything we want it to do but sometimes navigation is a bit challenging. Probably just because we're newbies.

Has a lot of features. Took me awhile to figure out how to set up for IR and RF. The customer service at Harmony is awesome. Remote is working great now.

I have had Harmony remotes for many years...some excellent, some not so great...but this is the best so far. It does everything it states it will do and with no glitches! It is expensive, but it delivers. f you like integrated technology, this is the way to go.

Took some time to set it up but seems to be working fine. Does not recognize older equipment, will still have to power them on with their own remote.

This is a great remote by Logitech. I've had other ones by Logitech that cost even more but this one is superior to those. I've replaced my older ones with this new one and they're wonderful. I even gave them to my kids as gifts because they raved about mine.

After one year of use the back of the remote start to get sticky i never use any product to clean the remote was just wipe with some fabric. I call the customer service and they told me to take the rubber part out! A remote control that cost more than $500 with out parts for service?! Seriouslly?!?! I don't not recommend any remote control from Logitech. This will be useless in one year or you buy a extend warranty form best buy. That i extreme recommend !!!!!!

This device was a bit tricky to set up but once it was set up, it works well. The remote feature is nice if you are looking to condense the number of remotes you use in a given system. However, pairing it with Alexa allows you to control basic features with your voice. If you are willing to put int the time to program it, the possibilities are nearly endless.

I always wanted to get a Harmony for my house and i decided to jump on this one because i got a good deal on it. Plus i have an Amazon Echo (Alexa) so i can use voice commands to turn on or off my TV and my Philips Hue lights as well. But if you don't have a smart home i'll still recommend it because you can easily control every TV within your house or devices. And another thing to point out, i loved the present ion when you first unbox it!

I have been looking at these remotes for a long time. I finally broke down and bought during a sale. Very pleased! It is easy to use, set up with different devices (tv, surround sound, cable box, lights (if you have IR lights), etc.) I really like that I can have lights and tv come on at a certain time through remote. I get up at 4 am. By the time I am out of the shower, the lights I want and the tv I want are on (and specific to the channel I want for news) on the days that I want. Very easy to program. And no batteries to buy. Rechargeable is always good!

The Geek squad programmed this remote for me so I can't speak to the ease or difficulty of setup. I bought this remote because my components are in a cabinet behind closed doors. It works well through the doors. The problem with it is that when you skip back and forth or rewind/ fast forward, quite often the audio can't keep up and you lose sound for a few seconds (maybe as long as 30 seconds?). This is really annoying. So it works but has it's issues.

Harmony was the best thing for my audio/video system. All components work in concert with the push of one button. Infrared is the best way to communicate with your components when in a cabinet or another room. Womderful product and easy to set up.
