Critical Tech Well Worth Price

At first I balked at the price of this remote. However, it is a critical piece of my television set up. We wanted our cable box, blue ray player, etc. hidden from view. We needed an IR device and this was the tech that the folks at Best Buy suggested. The remote works fantastically with all the ugly boxes tucked out of sight. It's easy to use and sleek in appearance.

This is the best universal remote I've purchased. Works just great. I've had a number of Logitech remotes before and have liked them all as replacement for older technology. This is close to perfection. The only change I would like to see is to keep the buttons grouped together and move the screen. I tend to use the buttons more with my Dish Hopper, or Roku or Apple TV.

I'm still learning the details of the device but it seems willing to do just about anything if provided the proper initial instructions.
That said, I'm very happy with my purchase.

This remote was purchased for our media room. I am still learning how to work all the components (since I don't use this room everyday). However it is very nice and has a nice feel to it, along with it works great with my products.

This has to be the BEST Universal Remote ... Ever

I have enjoyed several universal remotes over the years, eliminating the need for multiple remotes to control the various components. Harmony continues to offer a superior product that is able to control all of my entertainment devices and activities. I recommend this remote to any looking to reduce the clutter and confusion of multiple device remotes

I thought "Who needs a universal remote for over $200?" until I saw my friend have one and was like wow, this is pretty cool. I am able to program this remote by connecting via USB and it works for EVERY device in my home. I don't think you can appreciate it until you own one and program all your devices and set customizable settings for each device.

I've got a variety of RF, IR, and Bluetooth items and so far this has done everything I needed. I've been a happy harmony remote user forever so am a bit biased. I think the remote could have had a few more buttons on it, but the touch screen seems to work well and I love the scrolling feature of the screen vs the old style lcd/page interface.
One user indicated that this did not work behind cabinets but I have not found that to be the case (perhaps they had a bad IR blaster) as mine works perfectly in closed cabinets. Even though you can also use a smart phone or tablet as another remote via the harmony app, I prefer using a remote as my primary control device which is why I bought this version. I don't like the setup / config software for this remote as much as the older PC setup / config software from harmony. They moved some of the functions to the remote itself which is not as intuitive in my opinion. I also think they needed to add some much needed features as they've intended to allow home control in addition to media control with this remote and the design is poor to allow both to work easily.
Overall, there is a lot you can do with this and with a bit of time, patience, and cleverness you can easily get to 1 remote to control everything.

Bought this for the den television. Setup is very easy. Uses WIFI so you don't have to point it at the tv. The hub points to the components to turn them one. Work with with my NEST thermostat and Philips HUE lights as well.

Logitech is always the best designs and ease of use for universal remotes. It is worth the extra money. Our house has so many remotes, not just entertainment, but appliances in the house. I was able to go from 8 remotes to just one. And the harmony app let's me do the same functions as the remote if I'm in a different area than the remote

Really good. Like totally great. This makes it so I can switch between my Xbox, Playstation, BluRay player, and basic TV all with one button. The touch screen makes it really easy to learn -- you press "Xbox" to turn on the Xbox, "PlayStation" to turn on the PlayStation, etc.

We bought this to control cable, dvd, Apple tv, 4K sever. It works like a champ... The down side is that is starts to get flaky when it needs a software update. I have liked it enough that I now have two of them.

The Logitech Harmony Ultimate is versatile but the button arrangement and screen functions are less user friendly than were previous versions of Harmony remotes. Too often we find the battery requires recharging.

I've programmed several of these remotes for family and friends. It's compatible with just about every device out there and works great with the new Hub so you don't have to point the remote at the devices for it to receive a signal. Another fantastic feature is the 50 favorite channel icons which makes surfing cable or satellite a breeze. A++

I had a HarmonyOne remote for over five years. It was a great remote. Just wasn't dog proof; my 10 month old golden retriever puppy got to it. So I upgraded to this Harmony remote. It certainly has more features. But I find the physical remote a step down from the HarmonyOne. It gets the job done; but relies on the touch screen too much. Having to flip between screens.
I still recommend it because of the available functionality. Such as linking it with Amazon Alexa.

This item is a complete remote for AV equipment and for basic home automation needs. It is a great option as an entry into the home automation category. There are a couple shortcomings that most people who are new to these universal remotes will not comprehend until there is a deeper understanding of Logitech/Harmony's software.

There are so many complicated remote systems out there for your home theater setup. In our case we have a DVD player, Cable Box, Sound System and a few other things. This makes it so we have a remote that rivals the more expensive ones like Crestron or AMX systems.

i owned a Logitech Harmony One for many years, and when it failed I switched to the newest Harmony Home Ultimate. i am very happy with this remote. It controls all of my devices, setup was a snap (the program imported all my settings and preferences from my old remote) and the feel is very good in the hand. Having the remote hub is nice, as we no longer have the problem of the kids not pointing the remote at the entertainment system to let all the devices be shut off.
Only complaints are that the battery life could be longer (and the batteries are non-removable), and the play/pause ffwd/reverse controls are moved to the top part of the remote, I preferred it better near the bottom where it always was.
All in all, a great remote.
