This is a decent keyboard. Having no batteries is a plus. They could improve the typing feel. It is a little bit mushy.

This Logitech keyboard for my Mac mini was easy to install. I wish it had a led light for the caps lock.

The idea behind this is great, however execution is not quite there. The charge for this, using solar, is absolutely horrible. I let it charge overnight via my lights, but it is still in "red" the next morning. When it is "low" in power (which it is always on low for some reason), it would either lag when you are typing, or completely not type at all. I've tried to turn it off and let it charge until the next day (or at least 8+ hours), and it will still be in red/low power. Tried charging it when it is on, and it will still be in red/low power. Regardless how, it is low. Rarely do i see it in green/high power. Absolutely disappointed with this product. Also, you don't see how much percentage of power you have left on the keyboard at all. It would be great to see the percentage so you can gauge yourself. This keyboard pretty much work 50% of the time for me since I got it in December.

    It Just Lasts And Lasts

I bought my first model of this keyboard in 2011. It still looks and works just fine despite the letters are wearing off on the most used keys after 10 years of use (completely gone from the A,S E, I, and L keys), and my having dropped the keyboard more than a few times over ten years. The original model only differs by having a white outline visible on front from the white plastic back and a yellow "FN" key. The newer K750 has a blue "FN" key and a gray/black front outline and back. In ten years, I've replaced the small (unreplaceable) 3V ML2032 Lithium battery twice and the keyboard still works great with one small exception - I cannot switch off the keyboard as it will not charge the battery with the switch in the off position. So, I have to always leave the keyboard switch on. That apparently nothing with the computer turned off and the K750 not in use. Changing the battery was not difficult - even though it has a sticker on it saying non-replaceable. HA! I just use the thin edge of a small knife to pry the battery tray open without damaging the plastic housing - and replace the battery as needed. So, when I needed to replace a fourteen year old Logitech DiNovo Edge on another computer in my home, the K750 was the logical choice. The plus being I don't have to charge it with a wire or place it in a charging stand like other wireless keyboards. The only caveat to the K750 model is you need to leave it in a room area receiving sunlight or where an indoor light can charge it. The solar computer display can tell you if the keyboard is receiving enough light - so just leave it where it gets a decent amount of light to the solar panels. I have had my 2011 K750 in my dark den, but just leaving it on a table in the center of the den provides it with enough light from the windows on the north side of the room. After numerous dark rainy days start causing charge depletion, I just let it sit directly beneath one of the ceiling lights and it charges back quickly. Considering I have used this keyboard daily for so many years, I certainly can't complain other than I wish the paint wasn't wearing off the keys. Still, I've never had any other brand or model of keyboard last anywhere near as long as the Logitech K750 Solar - and I've used a lot of them over the last 50 of my 70 years. I wrote this review using my ten year old K750. (The new one is currently being shipped now.)

Hi Maverick, Thank you so much for sharing this 5-star testimony of how great the K750 Wireless Solar Keyboard has been for you this past decade---your feedback and loyal patronage is greatly appreciated. If you haven't done so already, I highly suggest using Lggitech's Solar App which will display battery status, light intensity and a low-power warning. Here's a link to that and other downloads:  https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/articles/360024692874--Downloads-Wireless-Solar-Keyboard-K750. Hope that you found this helpful and that all continues to go well. Thank you again for being a loyal and long-time Logitech customer. - Richard from Logitech

I put it under different type of lights and non of them works. The build quality of the product is actually good and typing experience is also decent. However, a defected one doesn't deserve any rating more than 1 star.

    A Really nice keyboard.

The wife spotted this keyboard the last time we were at Best Buy, she wanted to buy it for me and she did. It was very simple to set up just plug in the receiver and start using it. There is some useful software for making key changes and one needs to visit Logitechs support Web. site and download the files. This is very simple to do and take just a short time online. I also highly recommend getting a Logitech mouse using a Uniying receiver. I bought the M510. It also comes with a receiver so you end up with and two receivers one with the board and one with the mouse it can't hurts to have a back up right? The keyboard is Solar powered but has a battery backup, the board is ultra thin and lite. The keys have a really nice feed back feel. There is also a Num. pad. The board is well built and has a nice clean look. If your wanting to upgrade your keyboard or needing a new board, I can't think of a better board.
