I was tired of having to constantly recharge or replace the batteries in my wireless keyboards, but this solved all my problems. Even in the dimmer lights of my office, this keyboard has more than enough light to keep it running indefinitely!! Best investment I've ever made!!

We use a 13" Macbook pro in a Henge Dock at the desk. This keyboard just plain works. It always has a charge even in a dim light environment. The looks and feel are as close to an Apple product as you can get. We've had no issue with it in the last two months we've owned it.

I really loved the keyboard but I have decided to return it for a wired solution. The Logitech Unifying software works as advertised, but there was some lag due to either a software bug or wireless interference coming from my Marathon mouse. It only happened a few times, but when it did, it was really annoying. Also, build quality could be better as I felt some flex to the keyboard, especially with the flimsy plastic risers. Otherwise, everything was great. I do prefer the "chicklet" keyboards like most macs and Sony products have nowadays, so the typing feel was great. Its a full-size keyboard with a numeric pad, so thats another plus. And best of all, you will probably never have to worry about batteries as I never saw an issue with the energy. The solar panels built into the keyboard keep this thing constantly charging, even when off. Its supposedly supposed to last up to 3 months in total darkness. I would find that hard to believe if I didn't own the Marathon Mouse 705, also from logitech which also has outstanding battery life on 2 AAs. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone. I just happen to be a really picky customer. lol

This is my second solar keyboard. I have one for my MacBook. It is awesome never having to worry about batteries. It work in almost no light. My monitor(s) provide enough light to power they keyboard. It rocks!

I was looking for items to use while camping and this fit the need!

I like this keyboard. I didn't buy this keyboard because of the solar panels. The thin design is the real selling point. I've gone through a lot of multimedia keyboards -- many of them from Logitech, but it's the ones with simple interfaces that stand the test of time. Kensington had been making slim laptop like keyboards long before logitech. Although Kensington has never made a keyboard this thin and with wifi. However, the Kensington slimtype keyboard is much quieter. Also, I personally prefer the button form factor on the Kensington. The buttons on this keyboard are more of what you would see on the macs -- a style which I think looks cleaner, but not easier to type on. This keyboard is on trial for replacing my G15. There's a squeaking noise when I hit the backspace button that's making me consider returning it to Best Buy. Pros: -Minimalist design -Very slim. I love low profile keyboards. -very responsive -unify. works well with my performance mx mouse. Cons: - No indicators for scroll/caps/num -squeaky backspace button Don't cares: - solar - fn button

I bought this because I use the numbers keypad all the time and the wireless Apple keyboard does not have a numbers keypad. Set up was fast, easy and I have eliminated all the wires on my desktop. I love this keyboard.

This is a great thing to have to allow greater utilization of my iPad! I have this and the origami case from inCase - works well, bluetooth connection is great, and the battery life is great.

...a solid, keyboard with a nice feel to it. I ding it a star because my box did not contain either the cleaning cloth or dongle extender, making me wonder if I've been given a returned item.

I am so glad the salesman informed me as to why I should get a Mac keyboard. I've used a Mac for so long, I hadn't realized PC keyboards had different keys and layouts. So for that and comfort, this keyboard gets 5 stars. What knocks it down is the solar power. Sometimes it can be sitting in the sun and still have no power. It's a bit finicky that way. I cannot leave it on overnight or it's possible I will have trouble the next day. These issues are sporadic, so when it's working fine, it's great and I have no complaints. But when it gets wonky, it interrupts my work (I work at home) and then I am very unhappy.

This is a really good keyboard. I have the wireless Apple keyboard. This keyboard has the keypad and separate function keys, solar powered and comfortable to use. I liked it so well that I bought another one.

I bought this because the keyboard that comes with the iMac is useless for business purposes. This is 100% compatible and has all the needed functions.

This keyboard would get 5 stars and excellent in every category if it were Bluetooth. It was designed for Apple computers which have all had Bluetooth out of the box for years. The tiny usb wireless works great, but uses up a USB port. If this were a PC product I would understand the Wireless transmitter making sense, but it's for Apple. Everything else about the keyboard is perfect and it fits with Apple style. Keeps itself charged with just the ambient light available. Even with the lack of Bluetooth I love it and would buy again.

I picked this up when I picked up my Mac Mini. I'd used a similar keyboard for use when my laptop was acting as a desktop. Setup was extremely simple - plug in receiver, turn on, go. (As was adding a mouse - turn on mouse, go.) I'm not excessively fond of the feel of the keyboard, honestly - it's accurate, it's quick, but it's similar to laptop "chicklet" keys as opposed to a traditional keyboard. They feel too flat and have very little travel to them - typing on a standard keyboard is more comfortable to me. Try it out in person to see if you like the feel of it, other than that, it's an extremely fast and easy keyboard to set up.

Purchased this keyboard due to the fact that Apple does not make a wireless keyboard with number pad. This is a solar powered keyboard that charges within minutes of indoor light or sun. Keeps charged for months without light once fully charged. There is a cool widget that shows how much light it is receiving in real time and battery life. The keyboard is great quality, just like the original apple keyboard that came with the iMac.

Logitech continues to impress. This "solar" keyboard needs very little light from any source to operate. I wasn't sure how the "solar" feature would work, but it works great! Extremely compact design. Yet, the layout and feel of the keyboard are very nice for typing on the desk or your lap. Keys have a great "feel". The keyboard is truly plug n play. Plug in a tiny USB dongle, turn on the keyboard and you are typing. Fit and finish are also very nice Great product. Definitely recommend this product to a friend

I was sad when I spilled a drink on my mac keyboard, until I found this baby! No more changing batteries, because I forgot to turn off the keyboard.... I am pretty sure I have more than paid for this keyboard with just the amount of batteries I haven't had to put into it! If you aren't in a well lit area, it can be a bit of a hassle, but one little desk lamp, and 2 minutes can cure those low light blues... The best part? I have a 10key again and all those wonderful buttons like "end", etc, that apple has always seen fit to leave off their keyboards. Winning!

Needed a needed a number pad on my keyboard. Delivered next day. Works great.

Absolutely love this keyboard. I don't have to worry about the battery dying and it charges in no time at all.
