The Logitech k800 keyboard is great. The keys have great feel when typing. I can type more accurately and faster with the keyboard. The backlight feature on the keyboard is amazing. In low light, the keys can be adjusted brighter making it easier to type. It is also wireless and rechargeable should you want to put the keyboard on your lap.

Overall this is a good keyboard for the price. I like the built-in palm rest and the fact that it lights up. I have not tried to program the lighting but I think that is possible, to control how long the lights stay on or when they activate. Right now it is on motion sensing which is pretty cool, but, might drain more battery life. I have already had to recharge it twice in a couple of weeks, which surprised me, but it can charge while in use. I was also disappointed that it did not pair with an existing dongle I had from a Logitech mouse (something I read led me to believe that it would). I was hoping to pair both my keyboard and mouse through the same dongle, but that did not work. So the keyboard takes up my single USB port on my SurfacePro, and my mouse connects via Bluetooth. This is not a Bluetooth keyboard, so you will have to use the USB dongle. Another unfortunate surprise was that the ( - ) (minus) key on the number pad stuck. It took me a while to get it unstuck, and now it makes more noise when used compared to all the other keys. But it has not stuck again, yet. As for the keys themselves, they have a nice soft feel and do not place any strain on my fingers/hands while using the keyboard. Despite the negatives I have noted above, I actually like this keyboard and would recommend it if you have the USB port available for its dongle and don't want to spend a ton of money. I think the extra $ here compared to a cheaper keyboard gets you (primarily): a wireless connection, the lighting features, and soft-touch keys.

This keyboard is fantastic! It charges quickly and even when wireless is low and charging, you can still use it when it's plugged in to charge. The backlit keys automatically adjust to the amount of light in the room so it's not hard on your eyes and the keys are soft but still have a tactile feel.

I'm a software engineer and this is the best keyboard I had so far.
Pros:
- wireless
- slick design
- key illumination (when touched)
- good battery life
- good spacing for F5-F9 and F9-F12 keys + full keypad
- quiet keys. So when I work at nights, I have no complains from my family.

At first I wasn't trilled with the feel of the keyboard but after using it for a while it's no that bad. The light works very well. I use my computer approximately 7 hours a day, I had the keyboard approximately 30 days and I haven't need to charge it yet.

I was looking for a full sized, backlit keyboard for use in a dimly lit location. This keyboard fit my needs perfectly. I don't know yet how long it will work off the rechargeable battery as I have it plugged in most of the time. Nice touch on the keys, nice lighting which is also variable. A bit pricey but I've been satisfied overall.

This is a fantastic wireless keyboard - well made, comfortable, and the illuminated keys are great for gamers or designers who work in dim or limited lighting (or darkness). It has good internal battery life, which you can further extend by switching the keyboard off while not in use.

I have to say, after having had this wireless keyboard for a long time now, it is one of the best that I've used. I did a lot of research before purchasing this as I had specifics of what I wanted out of the keyboard. I wanted a wireless, backlit, accurate typing experience from the keyboard. I also was willing to pay a little more for such, but not where it would completely bleed the bank account. However, I knew for good quality that will last, it would initially be a little more than your standard keyboard. Having said that, in finding the Logitech wireless illuminated keyboard K800, I felt all the details matched up and I made the decision to get it. As I initially mentioned, I have loved the thing. The battery lasts long between charges, has accurate typing of keys that even as the battery is starting to go, I don't notice much of an issue with. Love the backlit feature when you go to press a key even in dim light. Has a well made feel to it, but not too heavy. Can use even with tablets if you can plug the usb wireless dongle to communicate, as I've used it even with an iPad. Also can use if you have a supported wireless mouse as it can free up one of the usb pours on your computer. So an excellent buy if you decide to purchase that I can't praise enough!

It is a WIRELESS LITE keyboard. I charge it only about once a week when I'm done with it for the day (plugs into the computer for charging, USB). You can also charge it through a AC plug. It lights up as I'm putting my hand over it. You can have the lighting dim all the way up to bright. You can choose to have the light on all the time or only while you are typing. :-) :-) :-)

Bought this keyboard to replace a corded lighted keyboard. The lighted keyboard is great when using in a dark room. Brightness is adjustable and battery lasts a very long time. Battery recharges with the supplied USB cord from the computer. When charged the USB cord does not have to be used. I like the feel of the keys when typing. Light turns off when not being used to save battery, turns on when the keyboard senses your hands over the keyboard, very responsive, works well.

Got this to replace a keyboard of the same kind. i love the backlit lighing and convenience of it being wireless, but mostly i love the way it fits my hands with the built in hand rest. Also, the keys are soft to the touch, making it very easy to type at high speeds as i normally do in my line of business.

Love the light up keyboard. The only issue is it does not light up when the caps are on. Other than that it's the best keyboard I've ever used in work or home.
My fingers slide easily over the keys and typing is simple and the ease of use makes it better for not typing errors.
I would recommend it.

The lighted keyboard has an energy saving device that turns the light off until it senses movement over the keys, great option if you are energy conscious. Still getting used to the feel of the keys. Easy to hook up, just plug in using USB port.
