Cons: doesn't have a num key pad. Pros: everything else. Size is great for a desk area that doesn't have a lot of room. Keys are easy to type on even with above average size hands. Touch pad is an added convenience, but I don't use it much. This is primarily meant, I think, to fill a niche for people who want a small keyboard to use with an entertainment-center-connected device and there are many features that would work well in that arena (small form factor, lighted keyboard, easy access function keys, touch pad eliminates the need for mouse, etc.). I have not had a single issue with it from the moment I plugged it in and it just works... like every other Logitech mouse or keyboard :)

Overall, the keyboard works well. The backlit keys are perfect for HTPC use, and the battery life is plenty for my needs. My reservations mainly concern the trackpad. Sometimes it doesn't immediately detect my finger, so I end up swiping without moving the cursor. Other times, the trackpad seems too sensitive to taps if I accidentally rest my hand on the pad, resulting in many rapid clicks being sent to the PC. Laptops usually have adjustable sensitivity and palm detection, so it's disappointing that this keyboard lacks similar controls.

I have an LG smart tv and this keyboard is a nice addition to using it. No more chicken pecking at the soft keyboard on the tv. This keyboard has a touchpad and backlit keyboard so can just slouch on the couch and work with Netflix or browse the web with this. Really nice. So far so good.

I have a Samsung SMART TV and one would think that a Samsung keyboard for Samsung TVs would work but it didn't. So, I purchased the Logitech K830 plugged it in and it works like a champ. Have had no issues with it whatsoever. Very simple plug and play, and it was less $$$ than the Samsung keyboard.

The keyboard is quite nice. It's basically an all-in-one unit. It has a small footprint. I like it can be charged with a cable as opposed to using AA batteries. The keyboard illumination is great especially at night. The trackpad is decent. It's nothing like an Apple Trackpad, but it serves its purpose.

I needed to replace the predecessor model to this particular device due to an alkaline battery corrosion in the old one. This one is a HUGE improvement. From The illuminated keyboard to the internal rechargeable battery, and 3 different ways to connect, they hit a home run here.

i was looking for a good keyboard to use while i sit in the living room with my laptop connected to my 40 inch tv. works great, battery life is very good, it has some weight to it which is good. the bonus of the play/skip tracks buttons and volume up/down are fantastic!

My other keyboard wasn't connecting to my TV and this one does. It's rechargeable and holds the charge for a long time. It's very responsive and I love the fact that I can use it to navigate thru my TV menu and type using it for searching within various apps on my smart TV.

This is a solid, well designed keyboard. I bought it primarily for use with our LG smart television. It works very well, even though using a keyboard as a remote can be a bit awkward at times. Especially nice is the keyboard backlighting which truly great to use in low light situations.

This keyboard is great, the battery lasts a long time and the touch pad is great for couch web searches. My only problem is it doesn't have a page up, page down, home and end buttons. 4.5 stars not 4.

this was my go to keyboard for my laptop that I connected to my tv. it was like having a huge screen for everything i would have done my computer... except from the comfort of my bed. touchpad and keys were easy to use and comfortable to use. had no issues.

Works very well in my Sight and Sound Room. Lit keyboard turns on and off only when used. The finger pad works perfect in an area that will not support a mouse. And even works well with the Mac Mini.

Using this keyboard is a snap. Just plug the usb donge into your computer and you are off and running. It requires charging from time to time by plugging it into a usb charger/computer with the included cable. No USB charger is included in the package.

Having a smart TV gives you lots of options, including accessing the internet. Typing in your search can be frustrating and time-consuming on your TV's remote. This was the reason I purchased the Logitech K830. It makes surfing the net on my Samsung 55 QLED a breeze. Bluetooth connectivity was no problem. The backlit keys are bright enough to see when ambient lighting isn't sufficient. The mouse pad allows you to use two finger swiping for scrolling up and down, and as for the battery life I've only charged my K830 twice in the about a year.

I was using a lower version of a wireless logitech keyboard/pad, and i upgraded to this K830, i have to say that i had to return the first one because one of the buttons of the pad needed too much pressure to work, BestBuy top service exchanged the broken one for a new one. I like the look and feel, is very well constructed and the wireless reach is superior than the 400 version. The illuminated keys are just what i need when we are watching movies in the dark, it has been a month of use and still retains the first battery charge. A very good upgrade.

Works really nicely to control my TV-connected computer from the couch. Build quality is very nice as well. My only gripe is that I wasn't able to speed up the cursor enough for my taste on a 4K display but it's less of an issue on 1080p.

If you need these features: Wireless bluetooth, touchpad. Then this is great. The buttons are illuminated and have a great, positive, non squishy feel when pressed. The battery life is pretty great. The responsiveness of the touchpad is great. The left and right click buttons are probably the only weak point that I don't like, they require too much force for me to bother using them most of the time. All that said, the full size is quite usable, the build is pretty good, and all round decent package here.

You really can't beat this keyboard if you're using it with your HTPC. It's small, it's sleek, and the backlit keys are fantastic. If that wasn't enough, the track pad prevents you from having to have a mouse for navigation. Another must-have from Logitech.

I needed an illuminated keyboard to attach to the new TV I bought for my bedroom and this baby really fits the bills. I was fortunate enough to catch the keyboard on sale. Aside from it's sleek look and nicely compact size, the illumination has three auto-adjustable levels depending on the light in the room! There are so many programmable keys you'd almost think it could make your morning coffee with no problem. The key action is very nice and the touch pad is spot on. Nice job Logitech!
