    I had same one for 3 years and lost it and then I purchased it again. it's no issue and if you turn it off after everyday work only replace battery maybe every year.

    Replaced Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 4000 that eat batteries. This is second M325 I own. Works on almost any surface. Batteries last a long time.
