I have used a couple of different mouse products --- but the wireless Logitech Trackball is far and away the best. I actually have foiur of these wireless trackballs; one each on my desktop and my wife's desktop computers. -- and since I am "pad challenged" I have one on my HP Laptop and my Microsoft Pro tablet. I love this mouse!!!

I've always been a fan of using vertical/ergonomic mice and didn't give much thought to trackballs. However, this one completely changed my opinion. The mouse is comfortable - you're not required to move your wrist to control the position only your thumb. I have larger hands and the buttons are spaced out exactly where I need them to be - the entire thing is intuitive! (once you get used to moving your thumb). As a person who uses a standup desk, with very little room for a mousepad and moving mouse, I greatly appreciate the size of this one. I finally had to give in and purchase a second one just to stop my daughter from stealing mine every day I got off work and the weekends.

It needs little practice before you get used to the trackball.. Once, you start feeling its benefits i.e. More comfortable on wrist, ease of use, works on any surface etc. you won't go back to mouse again. I have a computer connected to 70" TV and use this trackball 15 feet away from screen without needing any specific surface, as it does not have to be moved to control the position of curser. You are spoiled.....

Let me be clear- I am on my 4th one because I don't want to use any other mouse. I have never had one break. These fit my extra large hands perfect but are clearly not ambidextrous. I use a Logitech wireless keyboard which allows for the use of one micro-dongle to connect both. The connection is so strong that I have never had any radio interference disconnect me as I has happened numerous times with bluetooth connections.

I personally love this style of work mouse. This is the third one I've owned. The buttons are nice and responsive with a satisfying 'clicky' feel minus the sound. Despite having gone through a few of them, they are surprisingly durable. I have had more drops than I am proud to admit and never once have I picked one up to find it broken. I am seriously brutal on mice and these can take what I have to throw at them. The only reason I have gone through a few is because the buttons will eventually wear out. This happens with all mice and not a flaw with these. I just happen to use a computer for more than 80 hours a week. The trackball is very responsive and wheel scrolling is nice and smooth. Battery usage is phenomenal as I found out that I could take a 'dead' battery out of a high drain device and have it continue to run this mouse for months.

This is actually my second Logitech - M570. After several years of heavy use, my first one finally started wearing out. I liked it so much I bought another to replace it. The track ball works very smoothly and the scroll button is smooth too. Not jerky. Fits very comfortably in my hand with nice ergonomics. It has three little rubber pads on the bottom so it does not scoot across my desk. Stays put. Sometimes I sit in my recliner or on the couch and I can set this trackball on the arm rest. Works great! You can easily clean off the track ball by simply pushing your finger through a hole on the back side and pop the ball out to clean it and the little nylon bearings it rides on.

+ Was easy to setup + SetPoint gives enough control over various aspects of the mouse + Certainly helps my wrist + So easy to be lay down with my laptop and use the mouse in all comfortable positions without having to rest palm on the ground. - Wish it was left hand use as well as I use both my hands. I worked around with a second mouse and also still learning to finesse this mouse with my left hand. ;)

I always expect and get great PC accessories from Logitech. I have used Logitech track balls since they first came out and I have always liked them far better than mice for gaming. I use this for World of Tanks, Star Trek online, Rise of flight, World of Warplanes, War Thunder and Mechwarrior Online in conjunction with my Logitech Extreme 3D Pro Joystick when needed. Easy to use, easy to set up just plug in USB transmitter and turn the trackball on and away you go! No cord or recharge ever just replace batteries when needed. I have been doing heavy gaming with this track ball for over a month now. I have had no break downs mess ups or problems with this unit and it is still going strong! I also can move back to my over sized leather chair and not have to worry about cable length limitations for my track ball! I am getting a big screen TV soon and I look forward to being able to game not stuck right in front of my PC monitor/TV and being comfortable in my leather chair.

This is a great mouse to use for any desktop or laptop. My wife is able to use with her Mac. It keeps my hand and wrist from hurting when using it. You don't have to move the mouse around on the desk to get where you are going. You can also sit on the couch with your laptop and use it because it is stationary. I may take a little getting used to, but once you do, you won't want to use anything else.

This is so comfort, easy to use and accurate. The installation is easy!

I needed a replacement for trackball mouse. This replacement was much more responsive than my old trackball mouse and met me needs perfectly. No more repeating my actions with the new mouse. I like that I can program the mouse buttons for my individual programs. Unfortunately, I can't recall when I purchased my old trackball mouse; I am concerned about the durability of the trackball.

I bought this to replace one that failed after I'd had it for 5 years

Only had it for a few days but it's gotten alot of use. Main reason for buying this mouse is lack of space. I drive a truck & don't have much space to utilize, my bed is basically my office. The rollerball does take a little getting used to. There is some drag spinning the ball against the plastic, incremental movements may be a problem for a while. You can adjust the pointer speed in your settings. Works pretty much anywhere. Even used it sitting vertically while leaning against a wall. Although I've yet to try it upside-down, the rollerball does not fail. The design is also very comfortable for ease of use. Never going back to a normal mouse.

This mouse is an excellent option for users who have carpal tunnel like symptoms. It does not require the user to move their wrist/arm as much as a "standard" mouse. The trackball takes a little getting used to, but the adaptability of the software that Logitech supplies makes using this mouse both a relief to the wrist and the joy to the user as the pain from using a mouse fades away.

Where there are seemingly hundreds of different brands and types of mouse to choose from, there appears to be only one wireless Logitech Trackball. Thankfully it is a well made and intelligently ergonomically designed unit. I don't know why people prefer the mouse, but I couldn't survive without a trackball.

I decided to move from a mouse to a trackball after I started getting wrist pain and I have to say that that the transition has really helped. The trackball is very responsive and its very comfortable to use. I would also recommend removing the trackball and cleaning it once every couple of days to remove dust and debris that may affect the responsiveness

I purchased the Logitech M570 Trackball to replace my mouse, since I don't have much room next to my laptop. ( and the noise of picking up the mouse to re position it was annoying,) The Trackball works perfectly. The thumb ball is very accurate and responsive. It includes a scroll wheel, left and right buttons, as well as two extra buttons. The shape is comfortable for my hand.

This mouse it not for the novice user, at the thumb driven track ball does take some getting used to, but once you do, you won't know how you ever lived with those "push-around" mice. I use it on my work computer, and is a great deterrent for anyone else trying to use my computer as they can never figure out how to work the mouse. The fact that it is wireless is also a bonus for the price.
