This device works well, easy to connect, and (usually) works smoothly. But it is critical that you remove the ball OFTEN and clean it and the three (probably) teflon tipped 'ball holders'. This is a 15 second exercise - just take a ball point pen and push the trackball out from the bottom and wipe stuff off.

Always enjoyed this Logitech design, and the improvements in wireless are worth upgrading to this model.

This track ball works very well, especially if you don't have alot of space on you desk for the movements of a traditional mouse. The buttons are useful and the trackball works as advertised. I looked for the wired version since it would not require batteries, but it's no longer available.

I was looking for a wireless mouse that had a trackball. This one fit what I was looking for. I was used to having one with a trackball in the middle, but have quickly adapted to using this one. Love it so far.

I have used this style for several years and bought them as presents for people who has some mobility issues because you don't have to move them around. You can set them anywhere that is comfortable and just use your thumb to move the mouse around and you have forward and back buttons on it so you can just use them to go back and forth when on the internet. It has other features as well. The movement is very smooth and just have to pop out the ball to clean when it feels like it is getting tight. I have 2 of them used all the time and no problems.

Not only is it comfortable to use, it is easy to use as well. I love that I don't need a lot of extra space for my mouse to move around, as I often use a lap desk when doing my homework. It is also easy on my wrist since I have carpal tunnel.

Bought this as a present for my wife. She works continuously with computer and had some pain in her index finger. This really helped a lot. Why not all company are buying this mouse for there staff those who are exposed to computer for all day.

There are very few options for a wired or wireless trackball and this one from Logitech is one under $40. Do a search for some wired Logitech or Microsoft trackballs and be prepared for sticker shock since they are no longer manufactured. This was an adjustment because the only input devices I have used before are wired optical / laser mice or touchpads. Follow the simple cleaning maintenance and it should be reliable for a number of years.

The Logitech M570 Wireless Trackball Mouse is one of the best ergonomic devices that I have used. It is contoured correctly to ease the stress on my hand and fingers. Because of its simplicity and properly curved design, the fatigue on my hand and forearm has diminished. It is easy and comfortable to use. It utilizes a single AA battery that is included and connects via Bluetooth to your computer. Reponse time is flawless and quick. Overall a great price compared to other wirless trackball moused offerred.

They came out with a new more expensive version. I currently use this and so decided to pounce on two more on sale. Works great. I don't think I'd go back to a regular mouse because this is a perfect work station mouse. I don't have to move my arm to get where I need to go.

I have over 100 employees and 98%of them use it. Can't stand a mouse. Makes me cringe hearing how people pick it up slap it down and do it again and again. his is the best trackball design on the market. It would be even better with Bluetooth because I hate the unifying receiver taking up my USB slot.

This was purchased to minimize wrist movement, great if you have a constrained workspace or are trying to avoid RSI/carpal tunnel. The only downside is that when cleaning the trackball, sometimes you need to pop it back out after reseating it. The contacts don't always detect the ball (or maybe dust moves over the contact after shifting the trackball) the first seating. A very minor issue, and meanwhile the battery life is stellar.

This Trackball mouse is worth every penny. I am an engineering student and this has made my design drawings easier. Using software such as AutoCAD, Inventor, and Solidworks with this trackball makes a much smoother process when controlling the angles and rotation of items. Its precise trackball tends to make the drawing experience much easier and the ability to control your 3D design with such ease is just amazing. I recommend this product for all engineering students who plan to work on these engineering design software's. Of course it is also good for daily use as well, you don't have to be an engineering student to use it.

I love this mouse. I was skeptical when I bought it but I loved it almost right away. I had about a 4 hour adjustment time. I haven't had any problems with the ball getting dirty and not moving correctly. I have popped the ball out a few times and just lightly wiped it off, even though it was working fine. I've had this about a month and a half. I'm thinking of buying one for work too. I love it that much. I tried one of the balltracks with the ball in the middle a few years ago and didn't care for that. This one with the thumb as the 'operator' is perfect.

I was using an OLD q-ball track ball and the buttons finally were going bad. That track ball used the finger and not the thumb. It took some getting used to, using the finger type for over 10 years. The learning curve will be less for those using a regular mouse. I really prefer using this trackball to a mouse. Like all horizontal mice, avoid carpal pain by changing it up and not keeping your hand in one position for hours.

Great Trackball! Love it and I brought (2), for work and home. Not all over the place like the traditional mouse. Very relaxing

I used to have other cheaper logitech mouse that are smaller to my palm. These M570 fits very nice and the scroll ball is very nicely placed and puts my thumb to work. If you are working for longer hours and do more clicking than typing, this M570 is for you. Only thing, I didn't like about this product is Drag/drop and taking editing screenshots. but once you get used to it, you won't regret!

This is probably the best mouse I have ever owned. Feels good in my hand. Rolling ball is ergonomically designed to fit perfectly under my thumb. Works like a charm. Especially for editing film.

I bought this noise in hopes it would help me w my carpel tunnel pain. The first week I noticed a huge difference since your hand is more lifted and no pressure is left to the under side of your wrist. This is the second mouse I buy from Logitech. Definitely recommend.

There is a battery life indicator that lets you know when you’re about to run out of battery. Switch on bottom to turn off. The mouse has 4 buttons (left/right click and previous/next page buttons & scroll wheel. Can be used for gaming as well. Highly Recommended. Best Buy will price match if you find this model cheaper as well as an other merch you intend to buy.
