I love this wireless mouse so much that I bought a second one for home. Easy to clean and I've only have to change the batteries once a year sometimes less.

This is now the fourth Logitech M570 that I have owned since 2010, I'll let you decide what that means for its longevity. Don't get me wrong, it is a great mouse, very precise and smooth. It scrolls nicely and is very comfortable in my hand. My only gripe is that if you use your mouse daily, the guts just don't hold up over time. I've had the left click go in one mouse after a year, the optical reader that tracks the spinning ball go on another after 2 years, and the third just refused to connect to its receiver. All of that being said, if you are in the market for a thumb trackball (and you should be they're the bomb) this is the best one you're going to find, bar none. Many other thumb trackballs have a weird shape or hand position, some even requiring that you hold the mouse in your hand. The logitech m570 is just a nice, normal shaped mouse that happens to have a nice trackball in the side. One big advantage is that because you don't need to move your hand to move the pointer (or crosshairs if you're gaming) you can use the m570 practically anywhere. I generally have mine on my chair or couch's arm rest, it's super convenient!

Great product, have used one for years at work and home

I originally wanted to replace my wired mouse with another wired mouse. Unfortunately they stopped making them and I had to go with the wireless version. It requires a battery but the battery life seems good. The track ball is blue instead of red and seems to work a little smoother. There are also two additional buttons I discovered move through web pages.

I have this mouse for my computer at home as well as for at the office. It's a great mouse works well, easy to maneuver, I love that it's wireless, so I don't have wires everywhere on my desk. The one I had at home I've had for several years.

Comfortable mice, great precision, long-lasting battery

I used one of these years ago before it stopped being reliable. I went with another trackball, then a wireless, then a corded optical mouse that finally failed my most basic needs for photo editing. I bought a "temporary" iHome mouse that died within a month, so I went to BB to shop and found they still made this and I was comfortable with the features and feel. I'll know to keep the contacts under the roller ball free of lint [a problem affecting performance on the last one].
