I would recommend this to anyone who prefers a trackball over a mouse.

Used a trackball before and wanted an alternative to the touchpad on my laptop. Plugged in the USB connector and the trackball was immediately up and running. The trackball mouse is great to use and a perfect fit for my hand.

If you have a situation where you need to use a mouse but don't have a good surface to use it on, this is the device you need. I've been using this model daily for years. I used my first one over 3 years needing to change the battery maybe 2 times. After several years of heavy use, the clicker wore on one of the buttons. A mouse with heavy use lasting for years until clicker failure is certainly not a bad thing. I'm on my 2nd one now. The occasional removal of the ball and cleaning of the sensors will be needed. You can pair this device with a Logitech unifying receiver and save on the amount of dongles attached to your PC.

Had purchased an older model years ago and loved it. Am happy with this model also. Logitech makes good products with good quality. This mouse is very easy to use and good for those needing an ergonomic mouse.

Was going to buy a $100.00 version of the Microsoft mouse but Staples had run out.. I saw this at Best Buy and thought it was the Microsoft version. When I saw the price, I took a chance but didn't think it could compare... WRONG!!!! Just as good or better.. Cured my RSI which is why I needed to purchase this type of mouse....

This is the first trackball mouse I have used. It will require an adjustment period if you have only used a regular mouse in the past. It is shaped nicely, so that it is comfortable to rest a hand on. The mouse feels solid. It doesn't wobble or slide. The trackball works really well, no sticking or roughness to its movement. It pops out for easy cleaning. I do miss the side clicking that my previous mouse did with the scroll wheel, but that is the only thing I miss about that mouse. I'm using it with Linux Mint and Solaar, and having no compatibility issues. Everything works just fine.

Perfect replacement for a mouse, no movement needed to use accurately

This mouse is great if you are laying on bed, watching TV and using a laptop. It took some time to get used to but now I can't seem to go back to the pad or my old regular wireless mouse. Good purchase at great price.

usual excellent Logitech product. works great, great battery life.

I enjoy the easy of the Thumb track ball, because it prevents me from moving the mouse around in small spaces i.e. desk. Very nice product for what I needed it for, but only concern is with oil build up on the track ball no clear way of how to clean it, if at all to allow the ball to roll freely as when I first started using it...
