So far I only had one issue. I had to use the front USB port because when I used the back one the signal was weak and the cursor was 'jumpy'. I hate to have to use the front one because I only have two in front and I like to keep them free for things that I plug and unplug often. Other than that, it's comfortable and reduces wrist strain. I think it takes a little time getting used to using your thumb (at least for me anyway). Next time I might try the mouse with the ball in front instead of the side.

Love the fact that it is wireless and the fact that I do not have to move the mouse at all. my hand goes on the mouse and never leaves except for typing. great for my carpel tunnel.

I got this mouse for my 39' tv which serves as my monitor. I got tired of having to constantly lift a mouse and drag it just to get from one side of the screen to another. It works great! I've dropped it a couple of times and even had the trackball pop out but I was able to pop it back in and it has continued working well. It takes some time to get used to the functionality and it does require a certain amount of coordination. Thumb used to control the trackball while index and middle finger for buttons/scroll wheel. Pros: * wireless * has trackball *durable Cons: * buttons a little further apart for those with small hands * it is a little bulky compared to a standard mouse NOTE: Playing games that require high accuracy or fast response may be a bit of a challenge. I imagine it will get easier with practice.

Very easy to set up. Pretty much plug and play. Great for swapping between a regular mouse and this track ball for ergo reasons.

I have a Logitech gray and red trackball with the ball in the middle. This one is much easier to use. The ball is positioned so that it moves easily and accurately with my thumb. It scrolls well and the contoured buttons fit my hand nicely.

I've been using this trackball for months, and the battery life is amazing! The ball stays clean, unlike others I've had that seem to attract every bit of lint around. It feels right in the hand, and tracks well.

This is a good ergonomic trackball. However, it must be realized the Logitech uses a proprietary protocol instead of bluetooth.

I've been using the Logitech Track Balls (wired and wireless) for just over 15 years now. With the improvements in battery technology, I switched over to the wireless a while ago. I hate the wires, too! One AA once or twice a year. This is not for everyone! I had carpal tunnel syndrome at one point and decided to try a track ball. No pain for years now. But everyone that tries to use my computers at work or home gets frustrated. At last I found something no one will steal off my desk! Seriously, it took me a couple of weeks to get the feel but once I did I haven't turned back. And with the Logitech Unifying Receiver which comes with every M570, you can hook up to 5 other Logitech bluetooth devices.

I use this with my laptop. The trackball is very smooth and responsive, I like that I can have it on any handy surface & not worry about space to move it in. Only downside I can see is it is very contoured, works great right handed but if one wanted to use it left handed it would be quite awkward.

Install is simple and it works beautifully! Almost too easy!

If you were a fan of the track man (red ball) this may take a bit of getting used to as the rollerball is controlled with your thumb as opposed to three fingers. Very smooth action and great precision when positioning things on screen. Setup was plug n play on Windows 10. Nice customization of buttons available too.

I now have 3 of these and I love them. I will mention that it is made for someone who is right handed, using it with your left hand would be extremely difficult. My desk tends to be a mess so I typically don't have space to move around a regular mouse, so a trackball style is a must for me and having tried a few different brands/models, this is currently still my favorite. I do wish I could buy a replacement fob as I lost one so had to replace the entire mouse.
