Used this camera as an alternative to GoPro for streaming baseball games through the GameChanger app. When used with a dedicated internet connection, the camera worked flawlessly, which was not true of the GoPro. I would have rated it 5 stars, but unlike the GoPro, it is not waterproof and not built as rugid, which could present issues for outdoor sports streaming. Typically you attach the cam to the fence behind home plate and it takes some abuse from foul balls. And they will play ball in light rain wit no lightening. I don't see any issues if streaming indoors from a safe location.

Wonderful camera set for streaming. Don’t expect crazy quality from it - it’s essentially a quality 1080p web-camera. If you know what you do with manual settings (go to YouTube for more) and lighting - you can make it look good for watching online. If you hope to get Sony A7s3 here - it’s not even close. Good battery life, reliable, easy to use. Buy it if you know why you need it and are OK with the quality limitations.

Very good live stream camera, I use it for church.I recommend this one.No need of computer ,just a phone and that’s it.Go live with it’s app were you can edit and many other things

Great camera. I love the functionality. Works well over Bluetooth but lags sometimes when tethering to cell phone.

I have been using two of these cameras for the past several years to live stream my kids sporting events. I just purchased a third to get another angle for high school games. I have tried a few other brands and have to say that the Mevo software is the best out of all them. The only downside I have experienced is the tendency to overheat in the Arizona sun. I would definitely recommend for anyone wanting to live stream.

These were very easy to setup! I live the software application used because it is super professional and everything is intuitive. The battery charge lasts a long time and the best part is the ability to use these during zoom l, audio included!

The Mevo Start is a compact powerhouse for uncomplicated, multi-camera 1080p streaming with strong battery life and app-based control. However, it’s best suited for casual to mid-level streamers—it lacks pro-grade video/audio fidelity and requires some workaround for reliability and accessories. Pairing it with external mics and Ethernet can significantly raise your output quality. Looking for more advanced features like 4K or optical zoom? Consider the newer Mevo Core or supplement with pro gear.

Fantastic cameras! So Nice I got them twice. The app is seamless for traditions and they perform far better than expected. I just ordered another 3 pack because they are that good! These are by far the best compact live-streaming products I have used and watched. The audio is clear, the picture is clear and the customer service is impeccable. If you need cameras these are the ones to get! If you are not streaming you can record to the MicroSD card and download the videos for editing. Simply perfect!

Item was not available in store, but customer service was excellent in ordering the item for me and product arrived very fast. I bought the camera to livestream my kids' baseball games, and the internal battery lasts long enough to cover a doubleheader. Connectivity and streaming are very easy to set up (one time setup, depending on need) and the interface app through the phone is decent. Overall, it was a great buying experience, and I am very happy with the camera!

Bought this to stream baseball and softball games. Compared to the GoPro 8 I was using, this is a dream! It is so easy to use. only complaints are that you cannot use your phone for anything else while Mevo is recording, and the zoom is hard to keep (it automatically goes in and out at intervals). There may be a way to fix it, but I haven’t researched it. The video quality is great, battery life is pretty good (though I do bring cords just in case), and you can stream to multiple platforms and memory card all at same time. Would buy again if this one broke (though it seems pretty tough so far so not planning on needing to)

Long battery life which is much better than GoPros for capturing sporting events. Not very good if you need to zoom in at all. Overall I recommend the Mevo for live streams and capturing kids sports

The good: Cameras work fine. Easy to stream, quality is good. I’m using it with GameChanger for basketball and baseball. The bad: support is lacking. I purchased 2 cameras. One never fully charged (stuck at 85%). Unless it’s a quick-fix, they should allow you to mail the camera in for repair. Instead, I was required to go through hours of troubleshooting leading up to them sending me a firmware update with too many steps for me to even attempt (I don’t think it would resolve the issue, just more of my time). I asked to send it back multiple times for them to do it rather then me. Missed the BB return policy window.

This works well for gamechanger. The biggest part is getting it to stay connected to the internet while moving around for travel ball. I’m not sure it is worth all of the hype but it does what it needs to mostly.

Easy to set up. Works great. I can now watch live streams in a great quality.

Ive used this camera in a few different sceneries. I love how convenient it is and portable. The multicam system works great. Also streaming works really good also.

The Mevo Start is a great entry level camera for live streaming and/or recording your events. It is intended to be a single camera operation and does well in providing a maximum amount of versatility. All configuration and live use is done through an app on your phone or tablet. I would recommend a tablet, especially during live use when streaming or recording. The larger screen size makes it easier. The ability to zoom into a portion of the screen and move and resize live is really great. Make it feel like you have multiple cameras or a PTZ camera. The options for sound are great. Allowing you to use the built in microphone, connect to external sound source, and even use a phone as mic. You can easily monitor and adjust incoming and outgoing sound level. It is not hard to learn how to use. I do recommend you spend some time playing with it, especially in the setting you will be using. You can then set some of the parameters like max zoom size to fit with what you are doing. Setup takes a little getting used to. But once you figure it out it is a snap. The Mevo can connect to your phone or tablet via WiFi, hotspot, or blue tooth for setup. The camera works well with WiFi alone and if you wireless network is good you should not have any issues. There is an optional ethernet adapter that is PoE capable. I use the ethernet adapter to guarantee the best network connection for the Mevo and to keep wireless bandwidth free for other use. The Mevo Start can also be an NDI-HX video source and works well with OBS.
