    Good for every day use, desktop or laptop. With the right cable adapter you can use a mouse on a tablet as well.

For some added value and benefit, I highly suggest that you download Logitech's Options software which will help make your M310 run optimally.     Needed for laptop. Worked out it wonderfully from setup to total use. Came with batteries which is good. Went from delivery to immediate use. Would go 5 stars but a little pricey for mouse.
