My 1st wireless mouse was also a Logitech m310 Wireless Optical Mouse (only it was Silver), I bought it sometime between 2003 & 2005 and just recently the left-click stopped working, but it was at least 10 years old. This mouse is extremely durable and it will out-last your computer by many years. I would definitely with complete confidence recommend this mouse!

This one was on sale and I was hoping it would function well. I couldn't be happier with it. So far the battery (1 AA) is still going strong and I seem to be able to access most functions needed on Windows 8. Until I feel the need to lay out big money on one of those new do-it-all Windows 8 models I've seen, this simple Logitech mouse will do fine. I may never replace it.

For me it is good not to fancy with a lot of buttons, a good solid feel on the click wheel and just the right size. sometimes that is all you need just a Good basic wireless mouse.
