I bought the MX Keys S to use as my main work keyboard, and it’s been excellent. The scissor keys have a really smooth feel with just the right amount of feedback, and the typing noise is very low, which makes a big difference when working around other people. The layout is comfortable, and I adjusted to it quickly. The backlighting is one of the better features. It turns on automatically as your hands get close and adjusts depending on the lighting in the room. It’s subtle but really useful throughout the day. Bluetooth has been stable, and switching between devices is fast and seamless, which is great if you move between a laptop and desktop. The build quality feels solid and premium. It has some weight to it, but that actually helps it stay put on the desk. It doesn’t slide around, and everything about it feels sturdy and well-made. Overall, it’s a very comfortable, quiet, and reliable keyboard that’s great for long workdays.

Had this keyboard for about a year and can say it is the best one I have ever owned. I have been though many, from mechanical to the cheap ones they give you at work. This is the quietest, yet most functional one yet. It connects seamlessly to all devices, and works well with Mac as well. It also feels very high quality.

The Logitech MX Keys is a heavy keyboard. It is wireless with backlit lighting. It can support up to three devices. The buttons to switch between devices are located right above the insert, home, and page up keys. They advertise the fluid typing experience that is similar to laptop typing. I agree with this. It feels like my MacBook Pro M1. I normally use mechanical keyboards and this is a welcome change. It is comfortable to use and the feedback is good even though it does not have mechanical switches. For some strange reason, I like the F6 button as an emoji menu. I guess I use emojis often when typing now haha. Another function key is to control the brightness of the backlit lights. So far, I have not found a need to install the software. One less software to install is great in my opinion. In order to connect via Bluetooth, you just have to press and hold one of the three device keys. For example, I wanted to set device 2 as my iPad. I just held the button down on the keyboard and wait for it to blink. My iPad Bluetooth then detects it. It shows a 6-digit code I type on the keyboard to complete the pairing. Sometimes the Numlock is disabled, so use the numbers above the letters and not the numbers on the numpad. To switch back to my desktop, I just press the device 1 button. There are only two ways to connect to this keyboard. Either you use the USB dongle to connect wirelessly to it or Bluetooth. I thought I could use the USB-A to USB-C cable to connect it to the computer, but it is for charging. This is truly a wireless keyboard. It would be nice to have it be able to connect using USB cable but it is no big deal. The battery is removeable and can be recycled but it is not your standard AA or AAA battery. You can remove the three rubber feet behind the keyboard. There you will find 3 screws hidden below a plastic cover. You can puncture it with a small Phillips screwdriver. Overall, this is a nice wireless keyboard. It is comfortable to type on. The USB wireless does not have be line of site. It seems to work with my tower located at the far end of my desk and my secondary monitor in front of it. Being able to use Bluetooth is great because I can connect it to other Bluetooth devices and switch between devices with a press of a button.

Absolutely love this keyboard. Integrates flawlessly between my iPad and my Windows computer with the press of a button. Stays charged even with low light mode on for weeks. Buttons are responsive and easy to type with. I already owned the mouse (optionally extra) and it is phenomenal also.

This keyboard has a sturdy construction that feels super premium. Before trying it out I was using a Logitech K270 which by comparison feels like it came with you desktop, only it wireless. This MX keyboard has a solid feel, like there is a steel plate underneath to cover. The keys are excellent, I had improved feel and keystroke throughout my work when I tried it out for two 10+ hour work days. I did have a couple problems: like all logitech keyboards I've ever used there were occasional issues with no response or repeated keys I didn't press. These usually occurred when pausing typing (videocall) and picking back up, you need to accept that this is a fact of life with wireless keyboards and be willing to accept that for the flexibility in your WFH setup wireless provides. I also was annoyed that the F1-F12 keys are not function keys by default and I had to find a reddit post in order to know how to Fn+Esc to make them work the way I expect, the way they have for over 30 years. One benefit of this keyboard, like its MX mice cousins, is that it has the agility to connect to multiple devices: you can setup three different devices and you just push a button to switch from work laptop to work desktop to play chromebook. If you install the logitech options app on your machines you also have the ability to seamlessly move from one system to the other and while I've tried and like this with MX mice I've used (and still use) I can't set that software up on my current work machines and so I'm confused as to how it would work and if it's really helpful: Having one keyboard at your desk and being able to seamlessly use it with any equipment (chrome, windows, Mac, up to three devices) really is helpful, and its great to do it with a premium feeling keyboard.

The Logitech MX Keys S full-size keyboard has all the features that I wanted including a quality, solid build, wireless, quiet keys, numeric keypad, and backlighting. I appreciate that I can connect the keyboard with any one of three different devices via a single keystroke. It's not inexpensive, but it should last for many years to come.

Easiest setup – just plug the receiver into a USB-C port and you are ready. Bluetooth pairing is also very easy, just press one of the Easy-Switch keys to enter pairing mode. Compatible with multiple operating systems. Backlit keyboards are my favorite. As the light dims in my office, the keys are still visible. Proximity sensors detect your hands. It’s magic. I also have the MX Master 3 mouse. With this keyboard and my mouse, I am able to utilize the logic-flow on up to 3 devices. Just press the Easy-Switch number 1, 2 or 3. Logitech says that the battery will last 10 days with backlighting. On my previous version of this keyboard, the battery lasted 15-20 days for me. The included cable charges to a USB-C port and can also be used while you are working. The spacing on the keys is perfect and the number keypad is handy. The volume keys are also very convenient and used a lot. Tip - the “F” keys are set to media by default. As a travel agent, the “F” keys are used as special functions when connected to a GDS (travel booking system). I lost my functionality. But after looking online I found that it will switch back to “F” key functionality of you hit fn + esc. Great news and now it is perfect. Highly recommended. MX Keys keyboards are definitely worth the price.

Excellent Keyboard. I have upgraded from a wired old mac keyboard (non-10 key), but now with the best of both worlds this could be used for both Mac and PC, and can switch from multiple devices. Currently I'm only using the USB receiver. The keyboard sounds are quiet, and the backlighting of the keys are great, not to mention even when hovering your hand over, is when the keys light up; without having to press a key to wake up the keyboard and light up. This is what I find unique. I do work from home, with once a week visits to the office being mandatory. Our workstation is a PC desktop, Windows environment. When I still had the old keyboard and working from home with MS Remote Desktop, I would confuse some keys with option as alt and sometimes quit the session by accident using command q vs option q in the MS Windows WFH (work from home) environment. This wireless (which eliminates my wireless clutter), has both logos on the keys and now I know which is option/start or cmd/alt, etc. It does have some battery right out of the box and I have been using it for a couple of hours now. I will at the end of the day (working) give it a good overnight charge and unplug it the next day. In addition I have installed an app called Logi Options + being Logitech's proprietary software and was able to see the keyboards battery life and customize your keyboard shortcuts, see which computers are paired via bluetooth and what's connected via the usb receiver, and even update the firmware. Logitech's innovative products are surely the true accessories I have confidence and own mostly from computer speakers and accessories as well as keyboards. Its a brand that is a must in my book.

Unboxing this wireless keyboard the first thing I noticed was it came in a pretty compact packaging. I like this. I truly dislike too much packaging making it hard to get to my item and then dealing with so much material in the trash causing waste. The keyboard itself was about the same size as the box it came in. Taking the keyboard out, I was like woah! This thing is weighty. It felt really really solid but at the same time, I was shocked at how thin it was. There is a lip at the top of the keyboard that must house the rechargeable battery but also helps elevate the keyboard to give it a bit of an angle (please see photo). It was perfect for me but maybe not for others. Once placed on most surface, the keyboard stayed in place. The buttons where super quiet and had a real pleasant feel when pressing keys. It wasn't mushy or sloppy. The keyboard also had a backlighting but the keys themselves didn't light up, this would be one of two of my gripes. The other has to do with connection. The keyboard comes with a usb dongle to connect to your computer or you can do it by bluetooth. I noticed that when connected by bluetooth, there was a slight lag. The dongle was faster, so the lag wasn't really noticeable. But when I connected to my tablet via bluetooth, you definitely noticed it. After a few minutes of use, I didn't care that much. It wasn't as if you where typing 5-6 words ahead. All in all, this is one awesome wireless keyboard. I can't recommend it enough. Just super solid.

Overall, this is a very nice keyboard. The keys are quiet and feel tactile. The software is responsive and easy to use. And, the keyboard itself looks fantastic. The keyboard has a premium feel. The keys feel like they have a soft texture oppose to glossy smooth. It has a weighty body and a great feel for each key press. The keys remind me of a laptop, but without excessive mushy-ness. The keys are a little mushy, but it is not very noticeable when typing out something long. Like this review Something that surprised me was the inclusion of instructions for removing the battery for recycling. I wonder if Logitech, or some other third-party will offer replacement batteries in the future. But, I think this is just for recycling the product itself. My only gripe is the backlight: It isn't bright enough or some of the keys have too fine of detail to be properly illuminated. Some keys (The calculator button and app menu button beside the lock button) look a little dim. In a very dim or dark setting, it looks fine. But, I prefer a backlight constantly and in a brighter setting, it looks a little splotchy.

I recently began a new gig that involves traveling to the office a few days a week, and I wanted a new keyboard to celebrate the occasion. This board here simply rocks, it's svelte & lightweight making it super easy to carry with me back and forth to the office. The switches feel good to type on, and they're way quieter than the keyboards in my office's cubes. And having keys to easily swap between devices is super nice, it was pretty easy to set everything up with my office & home computers. Battery life's pretty good too, easily going a number of days between charges. If you're eyeing a new keyboard for the office, you can't go wrong with this beaut here.

That’s a glowing review and well deserved! The MX Keys S is built for modern workflows, with a slim, travel-friendly design and spherically-dished keys that offer quiet, precise typing. The multi-device switching and smart backlighting make it a productivity powerhouse, whether you're at home or on the move. A true office upgrade!

Love this keyboard! As a full time desk jockey keyboard and mouse is super important. This is the best keyboard! I have multiple systems i need to connect to like a work laptop and home PC and laptop. This allows me to program each system and easily switch between to use. Battery life is great and so are the back lit keysm charges with a USB C like all my devices. Would highly recommend.

This keyboard is one of the best purchases I have made in recent memory. Everything about it is just done well. There isn't a thing about it I would change. The keys are exactly the right feel, the keyboard feels very sturdy and well made. I love that it illuminates so I can easily see the keys. I love how well the blue tooth works so I don't need a USB dongle. Just an all around awesome keyboard!

Logitech's wireless keyboard is easy on the fingers and lightweight. I like the look and feel. The backlit LEDs help out during typing and only require a light touch to switch them on. I also like that I can place the keyboard on my lap during marathon writing sessions and pretty much take the keyboard anywhere. Battery life is outstanding and I have yet to run out of battery life during my sessions.

My aim was to find a quick, quiet, durable keyboard. I brought home 3 very different models, 2 of them mechanical, before returning (thanks, Best Buy!) and finding this one. Typing is smooth, all but silent, with just the right feedback. I'd call this a writer's keyboard: good for long sessions, with nothing fancy (except the backlighting). Bluetooth is flawless. My only criticism is short battery life, less than a week per charge. But since this size is meant for desks, that's not a dealbreaker.

As a PC gamer at heart who likes to use a MacBook to do daily work/general computer usage - this keyboard has been a great bridge between worlds. Having my macbook to the left of my main PC gaming monitor allows me to simply hit a button on the keyboard and switch between the two seamlessly. It may sound like a simple thing, but I promise you - it's a game changer. Toss in the MX Keys Mouse that allows you to do the same and you'll wonder how you ever worked with two computers before. The keyboard itself is extremely well made and the keys, with their slightly indented/concave tactile feel, make typing a dream. The keyboard is incredibly thing, lasts a really long time on a single charge, and is easily transported between desks (if needed). I currently have my 3 profiles on the desktop connected to 1) My gaming PC 2) my macbook pro and 3) my iPad pro. The iPad gets the least usage simply because I rarely ever use it like that, but it's available if needed. I would imagine you could also set this up to pair nicely with a gaming console as well for some of the MMORPGs that release on them. Overall, excellent keyboard that is made even better by it's connectivity to multiple devices. This comes highly recommended by a PC/Mac line straddler.
