So if you have a very low profile keyboard, this may be perfect for you! I wanted to enjoy this because i knew that i didn't need too much cushion, but this thing is so flat that you barely feel the cushion since it flattens down a few seconds after you rest your hands on it, at which point it just feels like you have rested your hands on a desk

Its thin but provides reasonable padding for my needs. Surface is very smooth without any excess rubbing or friction. I might quibble about the edge seam looking a little less than premium but its a very minor thing and not noticeable in use. For the price this has better be a very durable pad.

But I would strongly recommend dishing out an extra $20 to get these. Typing is a much better experience when using this alongside the keyboard.
