Customers are saying

Customers regard the Orion Spectrum G910 keyboard highly, praising its build quality, RGB backlighting, and satisfying key feel. Many appreciate the ease of use and extensive customization options, along with the positive comments on the software and lighting effects. However, some users express dissatisfaction with the wrist rest, finding it uncomfortable or poorly designed. The lack of a USB passthrough is another frequently cited drawback.

    Unbelievable keyboard

What a wonderful device. The palm support is great; I position it right to the front edge of my table top. I bring the Logitech mouse (G602) down to the lower right and everything feels just right. When I am watching YouTube video in the semi darkness I dial in a dim red on the keys which defiantly makes night viewing less stressful. The G910 has so many features and options that save time I can’t list them all. The biggest joy of all is the feel of the spring loaded keys on my fingertips. I have been using computer keyboards for over 60 years and I forgot the tactile feedback and the soft noise, I missed that.

I recently switched all my Razer products (Widow Chroma was my previous keyboard) to Logitech due to lack of customer service and them not being able to replace a simple necessary part. I don't regret the switch at all. I have a Mac as well as a PC so switching back and forth and having the keyboard work is very important. The Logitech software is light years above anything Razer puts out and works well between both operating systems. Also, quality and texture wise, the keyboard is very smooth and sturdy. I love the feel of the keys and all the extra buttons (scroll wheel for volume is awesome).

It was between this and the corsair k70. I had actually gone into the store looking for something different than either of those two options, but they didn't have it so my choice came down to these. I'm glad I chose this keyboard, it's awesome. You can serve rgb zones, patterns, or even each individual key. The software will tell you how often you press each key, how heavy, etc. You can program 3 different modes as well as program the g-keys. The typing took a few days to get used to since I switched from a membrane keyboard, but I'll never go back!

I bought this Logitech G910 for my son who uses it more for gaming than anything else. I also own a G910 but it has an older design wrist rest layout. The Romer-G mechanical keys are very quick and respond like the “Brown” cherry keys, though of course these are not the actual infamous Cherry brand. My son did have the G910 before, but asked for a replacement as a Christmas gift because his older 910 color keys died out, hence my reason for docking it a star. A keyboard as pricey as that should be more reliable and not give out within a year or even two or more. Still, with the Logitech unified software that controls all of it’s peripheral gear, it makes for a colorful and most interesting engagement for gaming. The software allows for many different kinds of lighting and display designs as the colors are bright and adjustable.

Keyboard was a replacement and a step up from the steel series RGB keyboard I previously had. Immediately I adapted and loved the tactile feel and old school IBM AT keyboard mechanical feel of the G910 coupled with the excellent customization capability of the unit quickly made me forget about steel series who?.. The only CON I have of the keyboard is that I wish they included pass-thru USB, having USB ports on the keyboard could of come in handy. I'm eagerly awaiting using the ARX capability of the unit, the thought of having a map on my mobile device from World of Tanks keeps my hope up the devs will adopt this functionality.

Just download the G-Hub and you can do just about anything with the RGB in this keyboard. It's really cool. The keys have a good solid feel to them with a slightly shorter travel than normal keyboards. There is less wobbliness in the keys than regular keyboards. I expected a little more tactile firm clicking of the keys but it still works really well. There are tons of extra buttons for programming functions. It has a good weight to it so it doesn't slide around on the desk very much. It was a little pricey, but so far, I really like it.

This is the ultimate keyboard I had purchased, but now it is no longer available, and the new compatible one does not have special characters lit up, the WASD keys do not have special bevels which were so useful. and that wrist rest, I so much miss. Too bad this keyboard started double tapping keys and made writing reports impossible. It lasted 1 year and 9 months before I had to get replacement. (tried to clean and see if anything stuck under the caps, but no fix)

The scrolling colors are amazing. But what I love the most is the mechanical clack and click of the keys. Not everyone loves the nice of those keys, but coupled with the feedback of the mechanical feel, it makes for an enjoyable keyboard. Programmable keys are nice as well!

This was a first time "Gaming" keyboard purchase, and it was a great addition. The backlighting options are a nice touch (although a dedicated brightness key would have been nice). Would have given 5 star rating if it had not been for the lack of a dedicated brightness option, and the fact that keyboard key mapping must be done separetly for the keyboard if you change keys for game from default settings. Other than that, the keys are perfect and the programming options are robust enough for the most hardcore gamer.

The G910 is a great keyboard for gaming. The keys are smooth and have that satisfying clicking sound. I enjoy the customizable color lighting of the keys. The G keys are split with some on located at the left of the keyboard and the others located at the top left of the keyboard...the positioning of the G keys is different than my last keyboard but didn't take log for me to adjust to it. I've had this keyboard for 6mths now, and I'm very happy with it.

This was a tough purchase for me. I've used the same keyboard since around 2005. Not the same literal keyboard, but the same model. The Dell RT7D30. I bought a dozen of them so I'd never have to switch. And then manufacturers quit using the PS2 port. Yeah, you can get converters, but I recognized it was just time. So, I switched. Well, we switched, my wife and I. It's certainly been an adjustment as the key layout is very different, but overall I love the keyboard. Were I to make a critique it would simply be that I preferred the volume knob on the RT7D30 to that of the Logitech. Both for style/shape and for it's tactile use. The volume knob on the Logitech spins relatively freely and is a low profile that sometimes requires some searching to locate without looking. Nothing wrong with it, I like it just fine, just liked the other better. The keypresses, though, are great. Very tactile with a minor click and very sensitive to each touch -- requiring less effort to type. As someone who also works via this keyboard all day, I find my hands to be less strained and that is a big plus.

I put 4 star because some stuff on the keyboard needs to be improved. The cord needs to be braided. A charge port in the slot where you can place your phone or tablet would be a nice feature, the lighting needs to have a 3 click for low, medium and high in brightness, wish the keyboard itself was made in brushed metal, the switches in the upper left above the G should light up with the keyboard as well. Another feature i would've liked is a USB port so you can have easy access to plug in a mouse. but of all the stuff i stated to improve this keyboard. This is a good gaming keyboard for your first time venturing into PC gaming. The keys are silent and are not click-y loud. Logitech improved the lighting a lot better compared to the Orion Spark. The only thing Logitech is missing is an RGB mouse pad, and an RGB 7.1 surround sound computer speakers,

For a product first introduced in 2014, this keyboard remains a competitive choice. The Romer swithes have a nice action with plenty of tactile feedback, it has 9 customizable buttons that are well-placed, and RGB is as customizable as your imagination. I am not much of a gamer, but this is also a good choice for a work computer. Purchased on sale this is right up there with the newest.

Pretty good mechanical keyboard with nice RGB lighting, macro keys, and audio control. A little pricey except I got it on sale. I also tried DAS keyboard and Corsair K95 and personally prefer Cherry Brown over Gomer-G but that's personal taste. There is nothing wrong with Orion Spectrum G910 with Gomer-G if you prefer that type of soft tactile feeling. They all work perfectly in Linux and Mac including audio control buttons except I haven't tried customizing LED lighting (Linux drivers are available but not fully customizable, especially no macro keys).

Great keyboard!! Back lighting is very customizable and using the Logitech software very easy to customize macros. Absolutely no issues with this keyboard. Has a great feel with a great layout. I've spent more on keyboards that aren't as good as this one.
