this mouse fits my hand a lot nicer than the smaller ones. The forward and back buttons are nice and the scroll lock is great. I also like that you can recharge it so you don't have to keep buying batteries. You can keep working while it is charging without any trouble.

I've been using my original Performance Mouse MX for more than 3 years. I would not want to go back to an ordinary wireless mouse, so I purchased my second Performance Mouse MX at Best Buy to have ready when the need arises. But the original is still going strong!

In my opinion, this is about the best mouse ever made! I have bought over a half dozen of these for my computers at home and work and for other people for theirs. The fit is just perfect for my hand and the extra buttons are in about the perfect place for each finger to control. Over the years, I have only worn one of them out, and that was one of the first one I bought and used nonstop every day. It is still usable, but one the main button is a bit soft compared to the others. I am impressed by the quality of Logitech products over the years and this mouse is no exception. I hope they continue making these for a long time as I am planning to continue using them for years! Best Buy has them on sale from time to time at half price which makes them perfect for stocking up and for gifts! Definitely recommend them for anyone looking for a great mouse for about any use.

Confortable and easy to us, this mouse is exactly what I wanted. It is very comfortable (did I mention it's comfortable?) with great button positioning. The extra button under the thumb is a useful tool along with the third button under the forward/backward buttons. All of the buttons are easily customizable as well with the Logitech software.

I bought this mouse to replace an MS Touch Mouse which I was having compatibility problems with some non-commercial software at work. The Performance Mouse MX really makes using a computer more enjoyable. I get things done quicker. I leave the scroll wheel on the fast (no clicking, free wheeling, hyper-scroll) setting most of the time & I fly through large spreadsheets and apps that require lots of scrolling. I've assigned the buttons to do everything the MS touch does. The feel and precision is excellent. I like the softer touch for clicking and selecting. The only negative I could find on this mouse is the horizontal scrolling. You have to push on the scroll wheel from the L &R sides to get it to scroll horizontally. Sometimes It will cause the pointer to move down vertically instead of moving horizontally.

The price is hefty but the performance can definitely back it up. The battery life last a long time. The mouse is smooth and reactive. However, there are a lot of cool extra features that I'm not sure are really necessary. Overall, it gets the job done but a little pricey.

This mouse is great. I've never used another mouse for productivity that has topped this one before. Although the Performance Master just came out, I'm completely satisfied with this mouse. The only gripe that I really have with it is the SetPoint software that seems to be extremely buggy. Otherwise, I really haven't had any issues and I look forward to using this mouse for a lot longer.

What I was really looking for was a wireless mouse with a weight system (like the G5). This was a second choice from me. It's a good mouse though. Micro-USB charging (so no need for a charge station or replacing batteries). If you needed to, you could just keep the usb cord in and use it like a wired mouse too. It has a nice heft for a wireless mouse and is comfortable to hold.

Does a great job of tracking on multiple surfaces and has decent battery life.

This mouse is awesome! The resolution and speed are unparalleled at this price point. You can plug it into the USB for shaving nano-seconds in FPSs or use one AA Battery for wireless action, which will last anywhere from 1-2 months depending how you use it. I happen to be a power saver, so when I am not using it I simply switch it off. When I want to use it I simply switch it on. You can leave it always on if you desire, but I don't just to save battery. With the SetPoint software you can assign button use and customize. Very easy to use, very powerful, very cool. Highly recommend!

I bought this mouse for use at my job where I am working with CAD drawings, spreadsheets and other typical office software. The numerous buttons can be customized differently for different applications. Response is very fast. Battery life is good too.

I got this as a replacement for a Microsoft mouse that had died after many years of yours. Like the old one, this Logitech mouse had the fast scroll wheel, numerous buttons, and programmable buttons that I became accustomed to. It's been a great replacement, and has even better battery life than my old mouse. And, if the battery is running a bit low, I can plug in and charge while still using it (even though that situation hasn't come up yet). Plus, at 6'4", I have large hands, and some other mice have felt small in mine. No such issue with this one - feels great to use. Overall, if you're someone who's using a mouse for most of your day, and care about how it feels and more advanced options, get this one.
