The only downside to it is it's bulk; it's not slim so that should probably be taken out of the name. But the added heft isn't for nothing though; you get a built-in battery for the keyboard and lighting to last up to 3 months before charging! There's 2 things you don't have to worry about, it's battery and the ipad battery since it doesn't use any of it's juice. Though it could if needed which is great to have as an option. The keyboard goes on solid and offers not 2, but 3 configurations; my favorite being that it folds to cover the keyboard in "drawing" mode (if you have an Apple Pencil), something the standard Apple issue doesn't do. The keys are a comfortable standard size and travel is what you'd expect. Short cut keys up top are a nifty feature and help you prevent touching the screen so you don't notice the lack of touchpad like you'd find on a typical laptop; which is fine because it isn't. I like the rugged grip around the corners, while it adds bulk, it also adds protection and should you forget this is an ipad and try to hold it by its keyboard, there's no worry of it demagnetizing and falling off. I think Logitech has thought of everything with this peripheral, including a pocket to put your pencil so it can be safe and charged. I think it's more than worth the price for what you get.
