Customers are saying
Customers praise the Slim Folio Pro Keyboard Case for its high-quality keyboard, excellent protection for the iPad, and good battery life. They also appreciate its ease of use and the convenient storage for the Apple Pencil, finding it to be a good value for the price. However, some find the case adds noticeable weight and bulk to the iPad. The case's added protection and functionality are generally seen as outweighing these drawbacks.

Keys stop working and then it does not pair
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Within 3 months some keys stopped responding. Successively no of non-responding keys kept increasing making the keyboard useless. Very little support was available from the manufacturer and blogs suggested repairing the ipad. Tried every trick online with no success. Finally support suggested doing the same thing as were said online. Pairing with my laptop revealed the the keyboard is sending garbage code during pairing. Support has been unhelpful with useless bureaucratese (If there is word for what support does when they dont have a clue).

Quality product - great battery life
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed a new case for my iPad Pro so I selected the Logitech Slim Folio Pro. Logitech has created a quality accessory with this generation of iPad case. The bluetooth pairing took seconds and I was up and running. I especially like the textured surface of this case. Too many cases have a smooth surface where I have a tendency to drop things if I'm not holding onto it tightly. The texture feels solid and safe when I carry the iPad. The backlit keyboard is excellent - especially when I'm using it in a darker environment. I've used this case with my iPad frequently over the last week and the battery life has hardly diminished. They claim the charge can last three months with moderate use. Great product!

Nice design, well-made, great features!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Review for Logitech - Slim Folio Pro Keyboard Case for Apple iPad Pro 11” This keyboard/case makes using your iPad Pro so much better. The keyboard has a great feel and response and the backlight for the keys is excellent. The magnetic closure is very secure and even holds your Apple pencil. I like the feel of the material, both soft and strong. Setup was SO easy and the long battery life is great. My only con is that the keyboard does not come with a charging cable. Admittedly, it’s a standard micro-USB connection, so I’m guessing that the thought is that “everyone has one of those.” But it felt like cheaping out on a high-end product.

Quality, Full-Featured Case for a Good Price
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Logitech - Slim Folio Pro is an excellent choice if you're looking for your first keyboard case. If you already have the one that comes from Apple, you may need to weigh the pros and cons further before getting it. Personally, I really appreciate the added features that come with this keyboard case: More tactile keys, adjustable backlighting, dedicated row of iOS keys, secure magnetic clasp, slot for Apple Pencil, and solid all-around protection. For me, these features are all greatly appreciated. The one trade-off for these features is size. Though called the 'Slim Folio', this is not a particularly slim case. I would not call it bulky either. But it is not the slimmest option out there. Once again, for me, this is not a problem. Bottom-line: A Quality, Full-Featured iPad Pro Case for a Good Price

Died after 6 weeks
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this keyboard because I have great faith in Logitech. However, within about a month, the “a” key stopped working sporadically and now the space bar is doing the same thing. It is impossible to type with it now, so I just use the on screen keyboard (as that is what I’m doing to type this). Buy something cheaper. At least then you won’t be out 25% of the cost of the iPad!

Keys stopped working
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worked like a charm until a little over 1 year after owning it and all the keys stopped working. Was then unable to connect to my ipad and type at all. Was just out of warranty so no luck getting it replaced. Looked on the website and this is an issue that MANY people have had. Too bad, they have lost a customer for sure.

HORRIBLE
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Would give 0 stars if I could. The keyboard maybe worked for 2 months then keys would randomly stop working. Over time, more and more keys quit working- now 1year+ in, the only key the works is the one to key the keyboard to light up. It also does not protect worth a darn. Dropped my iPad, and it shattered.

Great keyboard case for the 2018 iPad Pro
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this keyboard case directly from Logitech when it was first released. Prior to this I was using both the Apple Smart Keyboard Folio and Zagg Slim Book Go. IMO this is the best keyboard case of the bunch; especially for typing. Pros: -The keyboard's key travel is great -The keyboard is backlit -The keyboard connects/disconnects instantly once in place -It has a flap to secure the Apple Pencil 2 (both while charging and not) -It is USB-C, so you can use the same power cord to charge it as the iPad Pro; you can even use the iPad Pro to charge the keyboard if you had to -It has multiple configurations; typing; tablet, writing/drawing -It provides corner protection for the iPad Pro Cons: -It's a little heavier than other keyboard cases -It's a little thicker than other keyboard cases -It does not allow the iPad Pro to be removed as easy as other keyboard cases All-in-all, I am satisfied with this keyboard case.

Very disappointed with purchase
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.6 months into the purchase a Few of the keys stopped working. Called Best Buy and they pawned it off on Logitech and Logitech said its out of warranty. Looks like I’ll have buy direct from Apple or maybe buy from Zagg.

Keyboard doesn't connect to iPad
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This didn't work out of the box. I should have returned it, but life got complicated and I missed the return window. It's now just a really expensive iPad case without an operable keyboard. Not impressed.

Covers up power and volume buttons
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was sure this was suitable for the iPad Pro 11” but the edges cover the volume and power buttons. I just can’t see why this received such positive reviews as a result. It otherwise seems like a decent keyboard.

Excellent Keyboard Cover for iPad Pro
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Logitech Folio is nice and compact, and not too much larger than the iPad itself; I quickly got used to the extra weight of it, and it is not, in my opinion, a hinderance or a burden. The magnetic bar that props the iPad up is very nice as well! A very strong and sturdy magnet. The backlit keyboard is very handy in the night time, and also nice that you can turn off the backlight if you wish during the day to get rid of the distracting light. The keyboard, for the width of the iPad that it is accommodating, is a bit cramped feeling, but I understand that it is doing very well for the room it has! Once I use it for a few more weeks I feel likeI will be used to it and not even thinking about it anymore. The outside material of the folio is soft and almost a bit leathery, and while the feel is very nice, I have noticed that white, chalky scuffs quickly build up on the front cover, and while most can be easily rubbed out, there are a few that have yet to go away, and they are likely permanent. It distracts from the look of the folio when closed, but luckily I can fill the front with stickers to distract from the marks.

Horrible
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this in Sept. 2019; the keyboard which is rarely used is malfunctioning when you attempt to capitalize characters, additionally it turns the characters into foreign characters

Stopped Working!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I used this item for a few weeks. It stopped working and will not take a charge! It was fine while it lasted, but a colossal waste of valuable funds. Money up in smoke.

Great addition to your iPad
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The slim Logitech Slim Folio is great! I am typing this review from the slim folio, and I must say that it is a great addition to my iPad. Trying to type directly on the iPad is not the best, especially when trying to type notes, or using Word, or something alike. This Logitech Slim Folio makes typing so much easier and comfortable. The surrounding case appears to be a solid construction, and should provide adequate protection for your iPad. In terms of connectivity, it was a breeze. Go to your Bluetooth setting, choose the slim folio option, type in the numerical code on the keypad, and you are ready to go. Another great feature in the Slim Folio is the back light. This makes typing at night so much easier. You will need a USB-C to charge the keyboard. I will now be able to use my iPad for school and save the added weight of carrying around my laptop. The case looks and feels great. I would highly recommend the Logitech Slim Folio to anyone.

Best keyboard case on the market for iPadPro 11
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After researching (and trying) many other less and more expensive keyboard cases, this is the best! PROS 1. Good Keys: The keys on the keyboard are raised, comfy, like a “real” PC keyboard, and substantial and while they make a quiet noise when touched, they are not loud and “clicky.” This is a great feature for folks who use their iPads for lots of typing. 2. Substantial Product: The unit seems a little heavy, but provides good protection for the iPad Pro 11. In contrast, other keyboard cases I checked out seem very plastic and tacky. Others may prefer a product that has a removable keyboard, but I like this one piece that makes it easy to transport even one handed when open/in use without stuff falling apart. 3. Good Magnets: The magnets for the Apple Pencil and the iPad keep both secure when working. The pencil stays in place for transit when it is secured by the flap. Lay the screen down upright over the keys and you have a tablet. CONS (not biggies, but why it is not 5 stars) 1. Power On/Off: Powering the iPad on and off while in the case is awkward (pushing 2 buttons at once) and the thickness of the case does not help. 2. Screen Angle: While certainly workable and OK, there is only one angle to the screen when typing, which for me seems just a tad upright — like one more inch of a tilt would be perfect. When compared to my last similar Logitech iPad keyboard case (which I loved), the angle on this one is a little more “straight up.” 3. Wish for Smart Connector: Instead of the Bluetooth connection, what I REALLY wish for is a 3-pin smart connector for the iPad Pro 11 on the case/keyboard so the keyboard does not have to be independently charged. Only the Apple case has that feature and that case seemed flimsy, the keyboard was awful, and the unit did not provide the protection I wanted. Logitech: Come out with this keyboard case with a smart connector and I will buy it! 4. Cost. $103 seems lot a lot of money for a keyboard, but it is quality built and sure seems like it will last forever. 5. Color: Wish it came in colors other than boring, dreary gray. How about a navy blue? Dark teal/turquoise? Forest green?

Turn your iPad into a slim laptop
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The build quality of the Slim Folio Pro Keyboard case is typical top notch Logitech. The texture and the way the iPad fits snugly inside is great as is the magnetic closure. There is also a place for the Apple Pencil to be stowed. The keyboard is also illuminated quite nicely when typing which I love. The charge is advertised to last 3 months with 2 hours per day of use so your mileage may vary depending on how much you use the keyboard. It took me a couple of try’s to get it to sync up with my iPad via Bluetooth but after that the connection was seamless. I like the protection and the keyboard aspect all in one. I would definitely recommend for anyone needing a case and keyboard.

A bulky, yet protective, alternative to OEM
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Logitech accessories for Apple products of late are on a bit of a roll. Their keyboards, mice, and now iPad accessories have experienced a HUGE leap in quality build and fit/finish match with Apple's aesthetic which makes them my first choice for accessories for my Apple products. The Slim Folio Pro is their take on Apple's Smart Keyboard for the new 11" iPad Pro. Its a handy, capable keyboard accessory that provides a significant amount of protection to the iPad also, but there are a few things to note about the product: They called this thing "Slim Folio Pro" - It is NOT slim. It might be slimmer that, say, my gaming laptop, but it more than doubles the thickness of the iPad Pro when folded and carrying it around. I do feel better in the "Slim" Folio in the event of a drop or accidental bang against the wall that my iPad Pro will leave the incident unscathed, but for the most part, it seems overkill and really diminishes the sleekness of Apple's latest tablet. Ironically, the keyboard, the primary functional component of this accessory, is the slimmest part! It has excellent typing feedback for such a thin keyboard (something Apple should take note on) and the backlighting was adequate for the purpose of letting me see keys in the dark when using the device - Something that Apple's OEM case lacks entirely. My gripe about the keyboard (and this whole device) is that it doesn't use Apple's OEM smart connector to power and connect the keyboard. Instead we're back to Bluetooth LE here with a rechargeable battery on-board like every cheap universal keyboard that came before. This might have been a licensing or power limitation issue, but I loved Logi's use of the last-gen connector in their "Create" keyboard for the 10.5 Pro so much that I was really hoping for it this time. As a cancellation prize, Logi DID include USB Type-C instead of the terrible little Micro-B port that most el-cheapo electronics use. Type C is the same connector as the iPad Pro, so you're able to top up your keyboard with your iPad charger, which saves on travel clutter, but also saved Logi a few bucks, since NO CHARGING CABLE IS INCLUDED. On their other new Type-C products, such as the Craft Keyboard or the MX Vertical mouse (two of my faves) the cable is still included so I guess this was just a cut to packaging and BOM costs. On other fronts, the packaging is efficient and minimalist, the device itself has some nifty other feartures, like a closure flap when folded that helps keep your iPad secured magnetically and allows for the Apple Pencil (2nd gen) to be stored where it belongs on the iPad so that charging and storage support the iPad's built-in wireless charging for the pen. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a SLIGHTLY more rugged version of the Apple Keyboard, but for light duty/office use, I think I'll stick to the Apple solution, and use this when camping/outdoors with my pad for extra protection.
