This is one of the best iPad keyboard cases I have used so far. I say one of the best because not only does this keyboard get a ton of things right but it also has its faults. So to start things off I want to say I did buy this from my local BestBuy for $100.00 brand new about an hour ago and within this hour I feel like I have a good idea what things I like and dont like. To be honest I was kind of skeptical about buying this keyboard case not only because of the price but also because I have never used a Logitech keyboard for my iPad before, I have only used two other keyboards for my other iPads and I loved them. I ended up buying this keyboard at BestBuy because I didn’t want to wait for shipping but I have also read some positive things about it here on Amazon. Now the main reason I bought this keyboard is to type my reviews on on my iPad on the go. Also using my laptop to type reviews on the go isn’t always the best solution because if Im on a train or bus and want to look up something online or upload a review, photos or videos I cant because my laptop does not have an LTE antenna and 9/10 there is no wifi. Sure I could wait until I get home to upload my media but being able to do it right when I want to is nice. My favorite feature about this keyboard case would have to be the way it connects to and holds the iPad. The little plastic strip right above the keys contains strong magnets so when you slide your iPad across is the magnets hold it in place and I must say its a very solid connection but when you close the case it automatically turns off not only the iPad but also the keyboard case to. Reconnecting your iPad to the magnets turn the keyboard back on. That right there shows some type of innovation and attention to detail, its easily one of my favorite features. I also like the material this case is made out, for some reason some people dont like the material but I like it because it makes the case itself feel studier which will help protect my iPad if I ever dropped it. The keys feel nice to type on and unlike some keyboards this keyboard has a full sized delete key! My last keyboard didn’t so typing that keyboard was a bit harder. Nothing is perfect and this keyboard is no different. My biggest gripe about this keyboard would be the lack of viewing angles! Like honestly what in the world is wrong with Logitech? Here I am paying $100.00 for this product along with other people and Logitech chose to skimp out on the viewing angles, they have no excuse for it because there is some room for at least one more magnetic strip. Another thing they should work on is the instruction booklet because for 10 minuets I couldn’t figure out how to connect this keyboard. I pulled out the little yellow plastic tab, turned on my iPads bluetooth and connected the iPad to the keyboard physically. My iPad detected the keyboards bluetooth signal but when I typed in the 6 digit code nothing happened! Or so at least I thought. At first I thought it was an error so I tried it again and did the same thing, nothing. So then I watched a video on youtube and figured out that I had to press ENTER after typing the numbers, once I did that it connected right then and there. The last thing I think Logitech should look into is adding a backlight into this keyboard because this thing is not cheap. I mean there are $50.00 iPad keyboards that have 6 different backlight colors and yet this one dont even have one. Overall I am happy with my purchase so far. The keyboard looks and feel nice while protecting my iPad, lets hope the next keyboard Logitech makes fixes those issues I stated.

I have had this keyboard since 2018 and I only on the second set of batteries. Batteries easy to replace and fairly cheap. CR2032. I have accidentally let my Ipad fall many times, usually on the carpet but nothing has broken. I really love the keyboard except for the fact that the keys start losing the letter and you have to find something to redraw them. I’m using a permanent liquid white ink pen. That also wears of quickly. I’ve considered stickers but couldn’t find what I wanted. So I have had this thing since 4/2/18 and I am typing on it right now for this review. I don’t think you can go wrong with this one.

This was the best keyboard case purchase back 2 years ago when I bought my iPad. I’ve since used it nearly everyday and the keyboard and case are in great condition. The keys are still tactile and all I’ve had to do was replace the watch battery inside. Logitech offers affordable solutions for Apple products when you don’t want to spend the money on Apple branded pricey accessories. My best friend has the same case and we purchased roughly at the same time — he still uses his today too.

I purchased the new case with keyboard as a replacement for another brand that kept breaking. I never thought i would find one liked better but this is it!! It has the hard shell exterior with a magnetic strip that holds the iPad at the perfect angle. It has a great grip on the outside that keeps it from slipping out if my grasp when holding other items. Lastly the keyboard is perfect touch sensitive and compact enough I carry it in my purse. I have an iPad air 2

I love the battery life, easy to use keyboard and fast set up. The only downside is the edge of the iPad that faces the top of the keyboard is prone to scratches. Must use a screen protector.

The keyboard is comfortable to use and the case sits well on my lap, has just the right angle for me.

Not satisfied with this because we have only had it for about 2 months and one of the buttons already fell off. No that well made.

I really have enjoyed the Logitech slim keyboard. I especially like that it has a built in battery which has a 4 year life span. This is better than the previous keyboard I had (also a Logitech). Furthermore, the iPad fits nicely and it is easy to remove when needed for other options without the keyboard. Again, a better feature than the previous one I had. With the other keyboard, I needed a crow bar to get the iPad out :( Lastly, the slim feature is a huge improvement. I highly recommend this slim version. You will not be disappointed (maybe a little because of the price).

The Logitech Slim Keyboard Case meant just for the Apple iPad is terrific! The case is lightweight enough to make it manageable, but sturdy enough to protect my iPad from falls. The keyboard is easy to use and makes my iPad even better!

I had a Logitech keyboard with a hard cover for my iPad 2, which I LOVED. It was the right weight, and provided great protection. When I upgraded to a new iPad (I still can't figure out which iPad it is) about a year ago, I had a very difficult time finding a new cover. I finally took my iPad to BestBuy, and found this one. So far, so good. It's not the same, as it is black fabric, but it was easy to connect, and serves it's purpose as a key board and protects my iPad. A few things: -At first, I had a hard time getting the iPad into the case so it wouldn't slip out, but I think I have that fixed. -It does add weight to the iPad, but my other cover did that as well. -I have a house at the shore, and rather than lugging my personal laptop (sadly I always have my work one), I usually take my iPad, and like to sit outside on my deck to read e-mails or on Amazon. I will say it's a little harder to negotiate the iPad on my lap with this cover - I have to pull out one of those lap desks with the foam on the bottom and a hard top.

This keyboard case is perfect for my needs. The keyboard itself feels great to type on and there's no problems with its size keys. The keyboard case attaches to the iPad magnetically and when attached, the keyboard's bluetooth turns on, which is great for saving battery. The case does add a little weight to the iPad which I don't mind, but the exterior is covered in a fabric, canvas-like material which is rather prone to stains and collecting dust and dirt.

I keep a lot of lotion on my hands which presents a twofold problem for touch devices: A. Smudges all over the screen and B. My taps are not always recognized. This case offers protection for my iPad and the keyboard Has a great feel and offers lots of easy shortcuts and things like the arrow keys to navigate around quickly. Great buy if you are looking for a keyboard and/or case.

This is not only a great keyboard with excellent touch, but also the perfect protective case for my iPad. It is easy to use, supports the iPad well in a useable upright position, and turns the iPad off and on when the case is opened and closed. Was able to purchase at 50% off when purchased with the iPad. It is great!

I have been using iPads since 2012. My first, a 4th gen died last year, and my wife bought me a 2017/5th gen this past November. I have used a stand-alone Bluetooth keyboard occasionally in the past as well as the onscreen keyboard, but not heavily. In the past six months I have started using Microsoft Office apps with my Office 365 account more often on the iPad and often have to take notes or minutes in meetings on our church board and a few of the boards I sit on for work. I had been looking at the Logitech Slim Folio Keyboard case for a while and decided to pick one up today. I have been using it for several hours and am very impressed. Pros: once I got used to the size of the keyboard, I found it very easy to type on. They key travel is nice, it is comfortable and I love the shortcut keys at the top. It is not as heavy as I feared and was simple to set up. Cons: the bottom left corner doesn’t quite fit on my iPad securely, but I had this same problem on another case and I think my iPad is actually a little warped. It has not impacted the functioning of the case and keyboard. I have already found this keyboard to be much faster to use than my old stand-alone and will work very well for my productivity. The keyboard connects instantly when the iPad is docked and I have not had any problems with dropped connections since I picked it up this morning. I will probably not keep the iPad in this case all the time, but when I need a mini-laptop and need to type notes or do more keyboarding then I am confident it will be perfect for my needs.

I got this case to protect my new iPad. It does a great job at protecting the iPad and even has a keyboard to speed up replying to e-mails. The case will put the iPad to sleep when you close the cover. The only thing I didn't care for is it uses a non-rechargeable coin-cell battery to power the keyboard.

This is my second keyboard: I dropped the first one (with my ipad in it) from a high table onto a hard wood floor, and it perfectly protected my Ipad. I also noted that there was no visible evidence of cracking on the keyboard case itself, which speaks to how sturdy it is and how completely it protects the device, but I did ultimately have to replace the keyboard because one of the keys popped off. But the point here is that the case did what I needed it to do: It is an easy-to-use, comfortable keyboard for typing, and it also, even more importantly, served as great protection for my ipad.

Got this with my new iPad. It was a great fit. They size and spacing of keys are great. Easy to connect. Battery seems to last forever, although to be honest I'm not constantly using the iPad. Wish it had some light for evening/nighttime use though. Now depends on the glare from the screen.

I am happy with my keyboard/case. The keyboard works well and I like how the case props up my ipad. I bought 2 different keyboard cases and I like this one a whole lot more than the other one. I will be sending it back and purchasing another Logitech. The price is reasonable, as well.
