Good but not great
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I currently using the keyboard with my Google Nexus 10; I want to be able to pick up my tablet and play some game. I hate to put in the case and take out just to enjoy some game. The keyboard come with carrying case, very simple and cheap; with the price of nearly $75 at bestbuy is not such a great idea. The stand for my tablet makes me feel that I will break it someday. There should be more color than just black and light blue (green blue). The keyboard feel almost no different from my MacBook Pro keyboard. One last thing I wish the keyboard can do is I can set up special key for Android tablet. The keyboard is for both Win8 RT/Android, but more favor toward Win8 RT rather than Android. I would not recommend this product to other people due to lack of features, cheap product (not money), and back lit keyboard at this price.

necessary for writers and use at home

No tapping or having issues with the tablet. It hooks up quickly and can be stored out of sight if need be. I keep in tablet bag and it does not take too much space.

I need them but to activate, you need to hit a 3rd key to activate. This would be perfect if there was a switch or config to allow the function keys to be primary vs. the other keys.

Keys don't work!

It looks great and it seems sturdy, BUT--- the key action is unreliable. Certain keys worked very poorly (for example, "z" and "m"). I am a pretty good touch typist and repeatedly typed "The quick brown fox..." on this keyboard. The same keys would miss. I tried on another WiFi keyboard (Apple's, same size) and the keys worked perfectly. Of all things, when you pay close to $70 for a keyboard, you want the keys to work. This one is going back to the store at the earliest opportunity.
