I got this for use with the iPad Air 2. I was looking for something to improve typing on the iPad, plus to protect it as I carry it around the office. The Keyboard function works okay, other than some funny key labeling (backspace is labeled delete, for instance, and I can't find the delete key at all, although that me be an Apple thing...) There was not much in the way of instructions for use, I had to go online to find out how to hook it up. It wasn't hard; basically, you use the settings for Bluetooth on the iPad to recognize it. The keyboard is a mite small for me, but definitely better that the on-screen iPad keyboard. I find it's real nice for those occasions when the onscreen keyboard doesn't pop up, but you need to type something. The iPad just rests in a slot on the top of the keyboard as a means to prop up the iPad while you type. When not typing, you can turn the iPad over and attach it to the edge of the keyboard so the the keyboard forms a protective cover. There are small pads on the keyboard which keep the keys from striking the face of the iPad. So far so good. However, when I want to use the iPad as a regular tablet, i.e., no keyboard, it's rather awkward. I can't simply fold it around the back side as I can with the iPad Air Smart Cover, because it will not fold that far. While it will attach to the iPad upside down (with the keys facing the backside of the iPad), the magnetic attachment in that position is rather weak and insecure, and it also forces a misalignment with the iPad of about 0.25" which makes it awkward to hold. As a result, I have been using the keyboard when I need a keyboard, and using the Smart Cover I also bought the rest of the time. This means I have two items to carry around instead of just one. I'd really prefer something self-contained which would act as a holder/protector for the iPad, a keyboard when I need, and which would also allow me to fold the cover around like the Smart Cover when I want to use the iPad as a tablet. This arrangement doesn't fit the bill for that. One other item of concern is that the keyboard has an on-off switch, which I typically forget to turn OFF when I'm done. I guess I'm just used to the iPad and other computers shutting down when the cover is closed. At any rate, I foresee that I'll be running out of keyboard battery real soon at this rate... Although I say I would not recommend this, that's for use as I wanted, i.e., to carry it around the office. If you wanted to leave the keyboard at your desk, then it would not be bad for that.

The keyboard works good but I prefer to purchase the one that protects the entire iPad. But do like the ultra thin profile.

Easy connection to the iPad and use. Especially helpful for doing email and even more so for entering data into spreadsheets.

It was very easy to set up and light weight. Worked well with my iPad Air 2.

Great keyboard, I love that it is so user friendly and doesn't need to be charged, that it is self charging.

I actually returned this for a different keyboard. Not a good fit but keyboard has a good feel and easy to type.

Just another great job from Logitech. Not sure how long battery will work as there is no recharging cable input but maybe it will be awesome. Great feel.

I started with an earlier iPad and Logitech keyboard, so I knew they were good products. The new keyboard is thinner and lighter and comes with a long life battery that should last for 2 years. Since it does not need charging, there is no cord. This is the right product for the iPad Air 2. Look no further, as you won't be disappointed.

I love the keyboard and the keys make typing east and fun.

I purchased a brand X keyboard to start with because the price was lower than Logitech. What a mistake I made the keys were sticky had frequently I had to go back over what I typed because it missed letters. I do not have any of these problems with Logitech. It's a much better keyboard. I will never make this mistake again.

Great keyboard cover and excellent keyboard for my iPad Air 2. Good base. Adjustable angle. However, I agree with others that the lip on the hinge is irritating. While the lip is not sharp (rounded plastic) it does bother your hand when carrying. Furthermore, I wonder whether it would get damaged if placed hinge down in a briefcase.

This keyboard is really handy. Light weight and easy to use.

Excellent keyboard, keys and functionality. Only issue wasn't as thin as my iPad air 2. Goes to show you how thin the iPad air 2 is. Surprised they didn't make it thinner since the item isn't rechargeable but uses 2 small cr 2032 batteries. Typing is fast. Set up is easy. Solid construction.

An excellent gift from my girlfriend who always watched me struggle to type on my ipad with my fingers. This keyboard is awesome. I hardly ever even use my laptop anymore. Its the exact same color (space gray) as my ipad and matches perfectly. The viewing angles available couldn't be better. Most importantly, the keys feel as if you are typing on a quality made keyboard. The only drawback I see is that there is no way to plug it in to charge it, you are at the mercy of the lifetime of the battery, once it goes, you will have to buy a new keyboard. When closed, the magnet is strong that attaches and makes it a cover. Overalll, very satisfied.

I love the product so far. Major downside is that the battery is not rechargeable. Won't know how long it really lasts until it dies, but want to try it out because I love the fit and functionality. If it could be charged, it would be, without question, the best option on the market.

Bought this fory kids iPad works great and is easy to use

This is the 2nd logitech wireless keyboard that I've purchased. The 1st was for my iPad 3 a few years ago. It was flawless so when I upgraded to the iPad Air 2 this keyboard purchase was a must. I'm very happy with the product! Highly recommend!

I like the key board and the way that the Ipad fit inside it. It is secure once it is placed in the Keyboard holder and you don't have to worry about it falling out.

The keyboard is fine. However the hinge part sticks up a bit instead of being flush with my iPad air 2, although it says it is for iPad air2. I liked the way the old iPad model fit with my old iPad 4. It was flush.

Keyboard works every time! And very accurate! Highly recommended! With the I Pad 2 Air! Never have to charge! And folds like a laptop!
