However, some customers express concerns about the magnet strength and the level of protection it offers for the iPad. A few also mention the hinge as a potential area for improvement.

Good case... a slight flaw in design

This case is good... keyboard is good... however, the magnet is not strong enough and is worrisome for full protection. I opt to get the Logitech Type+ Keyboard case... that is phenomenal!

This keyboard worked well until I went to stand my iPad in it, or move my iPad. The magnets that hold it strong were a joke, the keyboard fell right off. It did not protect my iPad in any way. If I merely wanted a Bluetooth keyboard and didn't want it attached to my iPad this would've been great but that's not what I wanted at all. Back to the store it went

Great keyboard for the iPad Air

I used to have a 4th-gen iPad and had the equivalent keyboard for it. When I upgraded to the iPad Air, I wanted to find something as close as possible, and stumbled across this keyboard. The magnet is pretty solid once it's attached, but it's a little finicky sometimes. I'm not a huge fan of having to slide the screen of my iPad across the keyboard to engage the magnet, but I guess only time will tell if it's going to cause any serious issues. Keyboard feel is good, keys are responsive, and keeping the keyboard connected through Bluetooth is generally pretty consistent.

This is a nice little keyboard. It is compact, light, thin yet fairly durable for the size. It's great for someone who is always on the go and constantly on/off the iPad. The battery life is pretty awesome as well. I would recommend this product.

Very happy with this keyboard. I find i utilize the tablet even more combined with the access to the keyboard. My only concern is that the magnet that holds the tablet to the keyboard in the closed position isn't very strong so I have to be careful when moving around and carrying the tablet.

I've always preferred Logitech bluetooth keyboards - they feel and react like a full-size keyboard, and much more so than other brands. This one is no exception, and the magnet hold on the iPad is quite good.

The Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard Cover for Apple iPad Air is very easy and comfortable to use. I would recommend it to anyone looking to use a traditional keyboard especially kids that are learning to type.

Gave this as a birthday gift to my daughter. She's had an iPad for over a year but never had a keyboard. So far, no issues and she's really happy with it.

Great keyboard and hard cover for the iPad. Very sturdy and turns the iPad into a laptop in terms of operational use. Battery life some what limited, but can easily be recharged.

Bought this on a recommendation from a friend. I love it! This is an excellent keyboard. The only thing to keep in mind is that you'll need some kind of sleeve to keep the two pieces together when carrying it around. Not a drawback for me.

Really like this keyboard. We have had other case type model and it was a bit more cumbersome to remove when not using. This is very easy to attach and to remove when not using.

Been using the keyboard for about a month. Haven't had any problems and I love how slim it is; my iPad air still feels pretty light even with the keyboard attached.

The keys are a little small and the hinge system to attach is good, but a little akward at first. Otherwise good product and nice integration with the ipad air.

I had one of these for My iPad 3 with Retina Display and it was simply amazing; great protection and a great keyboard. This version is for the iPad Air and while it affords similar protection and a decent keyboard, it is less substantial. Not really Logitech's fault as the iPad Air is substantially smaller and lighter but still not the same protection as the last generation.

This is the iPad keyboard to get. I was hesitant to get the last-gen ultrathin because of the misaligned magnets so I was glad when the new one was announced. It fixed almost all of the problems from the last one. There's now a dedicated function key, adjustable angles, and a thin keyboard that matches the aesthetics of iPad itself. The keys are comfortable to type on, and I haven't had any problems with it. Some minor issues left, but no product is perfect. Would've been nice for them to include an automatic on/off feature that other comparably-priced keyboards have. Also, I have a front and back screen protector on the iPad and had to take off the screen protector for it to fit. It looks like it'll fit either front or back though, just not both.

It connected quickly and easily but was not enogh. I found the two pieces awkward and the magnet seem not strong enough. I would have top purchase a case seperately so I returned it and purchased SHARKK® Apple iPad Air Keyboard Wireless Bluetooth Keyboard for Case Cover Stand For iPad 5 Air With 360 Degree Rotating Feature And Multiple Viewing Angles

Logitech makes a good iPad keyboard. But the older version had a different mechanism that made it easier to get on and off the iPad.
