I have been trying out ergonomic keyboards for years, but they almost always ended up being the split keyboard types, and I could just never get used to typing on them. I would always have trouble with the gap in the middle of the keyboard. The Wave keyboard has no such issue. I work from home, and oftentimes I'm typing for almost my entire 8-hour day. Not only am I not experiencing fatigue after working for that long, I find that the wrist rest is soft and comfortable, but firm and supportive enough to give great benefit, and I attribute much of my comfort level to that. Additionally, the wave shape of the keyboard allows for more ergonomic typing without the keyboard feeling completely unnatural, which was wonderful for me. I also love that there is a num pad on the wave keys for Mac keyboard. This simplifies my job and allows me to get a lot more done in less time utilizing less space. For including a numpad and being ergonomic, this is a very compact keyboard, and I can't recommend it enough, especially for those with small stand-up desks.

I’ve been using the Logitech Wave Keys for Mac Ergonomic Wireless Keyboard in off-white, and here’s what I think: The keyboard has a simple, clean off-white wavy design that I really like and is good for long typing sessions. It’s designed primarily for Macs (due to the key symbols and some other functions), but surprisingly, it works just as well with my Windows computer. The ergonomic design is a big plus, especially with the comfortable palm rest—it makes typing for long periods much easier. Setting it up wirelessly was effortless, and I appreciate that it can also connect to mobile phones. I tested it with my iPhone and iPad, and it connected seamlessly. One of its best features is the easy switch keys, which allow me to switch between devices quick. My only concern is that it uses two AAA batteries; I would have preferred a rechargeable option. However, it boasts a 3-year battery life, which is impressive. Overall, it’s a versatile keyboard that suits both Mac and Windows users, with excellent ergonomic features and convenient wireless connectivity. However, I recommend it primarily for Mac users, as using it with Windows can sometimes be confusing due to the different key layouts.

The Wave Keys for Mac is a well-made keyboard with an interesting take on ergonomic design. Unless you're a die-hard fan of mechanical keyboards, you'll probably find it pleasant to use - especially so if you are accustomed to Apple's laptop keyboad layouts. Like the standard version, this "for Mac" version supports multiple devices, including non-Apples ones. Unfortunately, Logitech chose to limit the non-Apple device support with this version, which stands in contrast to how well they support all devices with the standard version. If this this limitation doesn't matter to you, then I can fully recommend this keyboard; read on for more details about why this is so. This version of the Wave Keys keyboard is another entry in Logitech's series of "for Mac" product versions. I use the "for Mac" version of their MX Master 3S, and honestly, it was really little more than a different color. Like the mouse, the Wave Keys for Mac is not shipped with the compatible USB Bolt receiver and relies on Bluetooth connections. (Logitech does sell these separately if you want one.) But unlike the mouse, the Wave Keys for Mac actually does have some physical differences from the standard model to more closely match Apple keyboard conventions. Some of the differences from a standard PC keyboard are minor, such as renaming Backspace to Delete and Enter to Return. Others are more significant: Fn and Ctrl key positions are swapped, the number pad squeezes in an = key, and the Del key (forward delete) is replaced with a Mac-specific "Do Not Disturb" key that toggles the Mac OS focus mode. I personally see little value in this last change, and would prefer a traditional Del key - or at least a configurable function for it in the Logi Options+ companion software. (By the way, like a Mac laptop keyboard, Fn-Delete will work as forward delete.) Another physical, albeit somewhat cosmetic change, is that Logitech removed the alternate Start and Alt legends from the Opt and Cmd keys, respectively. The Wave Keys for Mac is still a multi-device keyboard (meaning you can bind it to up to 3 computers and switch which binding is active with the F1, F2, and F3 keys), and it happily binds to non-Mac computers. However, the removal of the alternate legends may hint that this keyboard officially is not intended to support multiple operating systems. Unlike Logitech's normal keyboards, it doesn't seem like the key layout can be changed (to make the Cmd key function as Alt and the Opt key function as the Start/Windows key). The Logi Options+ companion software still has an option to keep the keyboard in Windows layout, but it just has no effect, whether connected via Bluetooth or a Bolt receiver. I also could not seem to get the layout to switch by long-pressing Fn-O or Fn-C as Logitech describes in their online support for the regular Wave Keys, so this might be a hard limitation of the keyboard. (It may yet turn out to be a firmware or Logi Options+ bug, though.) You can still use this keyboard with a PC, but you'll need to adjust to the remapped locations of Alt and Start if you do. While I haven't used it for an extended period of time to judge the ergonomics more fully, I found the Wave Keys to be comfortable to type on. It did require a bit of an adjustment period, mostly in relearning where the Option key was (which I use heavily to move the cursor by a word at a time), but substantially less so than traditional ergonomic keyboards that split the keyboard. The keyboard feels solid enough for its price, though not quite on the level of Logitech's own higher end keyboards like the MX Keys and MX Mechanical (which I have also used).

This particular keyboard is without a doubt the most comfortable one I have ever used. That may seem like nothing but given that I am a senior who is handicapped in several ways it is wonderful. When I got I fired up my somewhat ancient Mac Mini which I had not used in quiet some time. Unfortunately for me, the unit would not boot up and so I went to my new 9th Gen iPad. I downloaded the software and connected the keyboard via Bluetooth to the iPad but when I tried to open and get the software going I was unable to do so. I then contacted Logitech and they informed me that this unit was incompatible with my iPad. I then borrowed my daughter MacBook Pro, download the software and tried in vain to connect it to the keyboard via Bluetooth. I then decided to use it as just a Bluetooth Keyboard to my iPad and as I said, it works great but I am unable to access any of the features. What this does to is provide me with pain free typing and that in and of itself is a BIG plus for me!

The Logitech Wave Keys for Mac is a really nice keyboard in a compact size. Designed with a full set of Mac-specific keys, there’s no additional key searching of the type that’s common with dual-OS layouts. Setup is easy through a standard Bluetooth connection. While it is relatively small, the keyboard still works reasonably well with my large hands. One of my workspaces is rather tight, and this keyboard fits perfectly in my available space. Key feel and travel are excellent, with good response and no missed or duplicated keystrokes. The XXX supports three devices and can be paired with a Macbook, iPad, iPhone, or Windows machine (although the latter will pose problems given the Mac-specific layout). I frequently have two laptops active (work / personal), and the ability to switch devices with the push of a button is very convenient. When combined with a Logitech mouse (I prefer the Master MX3), the Logitech Flow software makes switching devices as simple as scrolling the mouse; both the mouse and keyboard become active on the new device automatically. If you have a small workspace or just need a more portable ergonomic keyboard for your Mac, I would definitely recommend this.

Wow, the Logitech - Wave Keys for Mac Ergonomic Wireless Keyboard is a great keyboard. I had no idea it would make such a difference. I have been using a regular keyboard for years. I never really paid much attention to the aches and pains in my wrists. It has never gotten severe, but it is always there after a long day in the office. I decided to give this keyboard a try to see if it could make a difference. I was not disappointed. Out of the box, it is pretty simple. It is a keyboard, 2 batteries, and a quick start guide. Having both had battery and rechargeable keyboards, I prefer the battery operated as the rechargeable ones seem to lose their capacity over time. Set up is a breeze. Simply pull the tab and the unit powers on. Connection to your laptop is a breeze with bluetooth connectivity. No dongle required. The performance of the keyboard is very good. The keys have a good feel. The slightly modified keyboard layout takes a minute to get used to, but the real benefits are realized at the end of the day. The wrist rest does a wonderful job of reducing the pain that I was feeling at the end of the day. I highly recommend this keyboard to anyone suffering from carpal tunnel.

Okay, let me start by saying I'm using this to type this review. I have never used this type of keyboard, as I have always used my Mac keyboard. I've tried lots of keyboards, but this is my FIRST ergo style keyboard. I'm impressed. Compared to my keyboard from Apple, this is so much better. It has what I was looking for after all these years, travel and feedback from the keys while typing. I can get ANY keyboard, but this is an ergo style, which I was never a fan of. While using this, I feel better with long emails or messages like this review. I like being able to hear the keys when typing, and feel them as well. They are soft when typing, but not too soft. The layout is nice, and the number pad is placed nicely. The padding used for your hands to rest on while typing is soft, but not too soft. It's just right to type a long email or message. The build quality is nice. Hard plastic and such, what you typically get from a keyboard in this price range. Speaking of price, it's very affordable. So grab it.

The Logitech - Wave Keys wireless keyboard for Mac is an ergonomic wireless keyboard that has many nice features and a comfortable design for long days of working on the keyboard. This is similar to the other Logitech Wave Keys keyboards with a few extra features designed specifically for the Mac. It is still compatible with Windows computers as well since it is essentially just a blue-tooth keyboard, although not all of the function buttons will work on PC. The design is very nice and the ergonomic design helps to prevent stress on your hands from long days in the office, the wrist rest is a little small for bigger hands, but is still a good design in my opinion. I almost wish the wrist rest was removable so that you could personalize its position to make it more comfortable depending on your hand size, but otherwise I think it is a great design. This keyboard features an "easy-switch" key that allows you to connect and switch between your Mac, iPhone, and iPad with the push of a button. You can also customize actions using the Logi Options+ software from Logitech allowing you to personalize your keyboard to work how you like. Overall this is a great ergonomic keyboard and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a keyboard for their Mac or Apple devices. This has become my new keyboard at work and I really appreciate its design and comfort.
