Friends have told me the sound quality is a huge improvement from my old mic. Its small so it works with the limited desk space I have. Its really good, especially for it being one of the cheaper mic options. I'll likely be buying another one for my roommate as a gift

But also the slight downfall cause I can hear my keyboard on stream so I gotta find a way to put it up and get some sound deadening

I thought it was going to be meh quality but it's actually not bad. Especially if you tweak things in OBS studio (if you use that). The stand it comes with is okay. It screws off and you can mount it onto a normal mic arm. (I recommend getting a mic arm). It's pretty affordable. I do recommend.

It was as simple as plug and play which is super nice. It looks clean and minimalistic! The rgb light is also useful as it turns green when being used!

I also wish there was a mute button on the mic itself several times that could have proved to be useful. I’d like to note that I don’t use it for anything more than simply chatting in discord with friends. Can’t comment on its effectiveness when it comes to streaming or anything along those lines.

The Pro X2 Lightspeed is a great headset except for the microphone. It seemed like an afterthought for a very premium headset. So for a pretty reasonable price, the Orb is an excellent entry point for desk microphones. My voice comes through clearly, and that's all I can ask it to do.

Its not a top of the line mic but it certainly gets the job done without breaking the bank. LG hub (the desktop application) works well and allows for some customization.

Good quality no frills recording and mic

It’s easy to set up and get going and it sure does look nice. I tried out lightsync with a G keyboard I have and it worked well with the limited colorscapes I used. I like to have a solid color across all my devices, and if it’s not all teal it’s off! The color matched well with my other devices and my Core X that also is lit teal. I wish there was some sound cancelling or shock absorbing because the microphone is fairly sensitive and recorded a lot of my keyboard and mouse movement while using the included stand. When I disconnected the mic and used my shock absorbing mount away from the keyboard and mouse, it worked pretty well. In terms of sound quality, it’s as good as other Yeti microphones I have had before but with a better price and a less premium build quality. I can see myself using this for voiceovers in the future when I’m looking for a second mic. I would recommend this mic for folks just starting to do voiceovers as long as you get a good pop filter.
