Nice and compact. Good sound. Works well for my desktop computer. Use for music as well as video. It took a little bit getting use to adjusting the sound with the volume control on the computer , the music source control you were listening to and the speakers system itself but once that was done it was great. I liked the ease of setup. I only wish the speaker wires were a little longer from the sub to the other speakers. but made it work. So quite pleased with this system over all.

This Logitech system sounds really good. I had bought one a few of years ago that I gave to my nephew when he needed it recently. It works now just as good as new. I bought a new one for a TV I just got, also from Best Buy. For this price you can't go wrong. The subwoofer is way better than most computer speaker systems have. It is good enough for home theater set-ups, which is saying a lot. It gets loud enough to bother people in the next room for sure, it sounds like a subwoofer you buy separately. Very strong bass and deep. The two satellite speakers do a good job of not getting overpowered by the sub and also sound really good. I like that the subwoofer isn't wireless. I have a soundbar with a wireless subwoofer that's just collecting dust in my garage because the subwoofer refuses to pick up the signal from the soundbar. I paid over $500 for it when it was on sale. I'll probably take it somewhere someday to see if it can be fixed. If there is a weakness to this system it's the connectivity. It has like a three-wire connection for I guess home computers with the separate tower. It has the little headphone wire input...which comes out of your phone, laptop, or TV. It also has the red and white (I guess RCA jack) connection. I don't see why there is no optical cable input. Even so the sound is very clear, so I guess it doesn't matter too much. If you want your music or movies to have good sound, don't buy a system for $50 less that doesn't come close to this one. This sub is five times better than what you will get with the cheaper system. It makes a huge difference. If you are wondering, yes, the satellite speakers get loud too.

Fantastic sound quality, rich bass, and highly powerful. Upgraded from Klipsch 2.1 THX speakers and I was worried I would lose sound quality from those. I'm happy to report that I was wrong. I did have to buy a RCA cable extension for 1 satellite because of my placement / desk configuration, so be aware you may need that.

Logitech loves that you upgraded to the Z623 2.1 and it met your expectations! Deep sound you can feel, even compared to your previous THX speakers. Tip: Glad you mentioned the RCA cable extension - that's a handy detail for others to know about speaker placement.

This is a great little system if you want big sound for your buck. When looking for a system for my computer, I wanted something that at least had respectable sound and bass. I will definitely say that this small package delivers. Many of the reviews I saw said this system had way too much bass and not enough mids/highs. I would disagree that this small setup delivers great lows, mids and highs. The subwoofer really delivers when it comes to bass. You really only need to keep the bass level in the center for deep bass. Anything above that is if you just want to rattle the room or annoy the neighbors. Overall great system for the money! Working great thus far

If you're looking for clean, crispy highs, clear, punchy mids and bass that just fills the room then look no further. This system sounds incredible. Easy volume and bass controls from the satellite speakers put the power in your hands to make the adjustments you need. These are LOUD. Ports for headphones out and aux in located on the satellite speaker - so again, easy access to everything. The sub is bigger than I expected but the bass production is unbelievable, even at low volumes. Set up was a breeze. You can't mess it up since left and right speakers have different connectors to the sub. I was up and running in 2 minutes. Low dollars for a super-loud 400w system. Just get it.

These Logitech Speakers are Fantastic! I use on my office computer and streaming content from Prime and others. Extremely easy set up. Considered Bose, Klipsch and Yamaha to replace some Edifiers that started giving problems. Read all the reviews and finally decided on these Logitech speakers. Strong Mid plus very clear Tweeters. The separate Bass is extremely versatile with it's own volume control. I'm hearing elements that I did not hear on top end stereo system and McIntosh speakers (source dependent). Plenty of volume even in a large room. Could not be more pleased!

This Z623 system I’ve had my eyes on for a decent amount of time before I pulled the trigger, and man, I should’ve gotten it sooner! I use the system to plug into my gaming PC monitor that doesn’t have speakers and man does this thing sing! It gets super loud (I have it about half way on volume to not annoy my upstairs neighbors) and the bass on 1/4. The bass can get super low and loud, to the point where it over powers the mid and high range speakers. But as long as you turn the bass down, you have a rich and full sound that is good for everything from gaming to music. Fantastic system and well worth the money.

The Logitech Z623 2.1 THX Certified Speakers w/Subwoofer 400W peak 200W RMS are truly the best “bang for the buck”! I use them on my PC, which still has a standard 1/8” (3.5mm) analog headphone style jack. The setup supports both RCA and headphone jack interfaces. I have been able to turn up the volume up all the way with no distortion. I am very impressed for the output considering its small footprint. Good things do still come in small packages. It isn’t necessary to crank it up either, it thumps and rumbles even at mid -3/4 volume. I use it for music, movie streaming and some gaming. I plan on getting a Creative Sound Blaster setup to further dial the sound with the EQ settings in the app, but this Speaker setup really brought my basic Realtek audio factory sound new life.

I am super happy with this speaker system. I bought this one for my son, after buying the 1st one for myself a year ago. The feature set is limited (see CONs) , but the sound qualify is fantastic at this price. Sound quality is on par with wireless systems that cost at least 3x the price or more. I've listened to systems that cost 7x the price and did not sound as good. PROs: * Fantastic sound quality. At any volume from barely audible to filling a medium/large room: Solid bass, midrange has excellent imaging, treble is crisp and clear without ever getting shrill. * Satellite speakers are small (advantage of separate sub). * Satellite speakers can be placed behind a monitor with only 7" from bottom edge of monitor to the desktop (there is no speaker element behind the THX logo on the speakers, so that portion can be blocked without impacting sound quality). * Convenient access on the right satellite speaker to: volume, bass level adjustment, and headphone jack. * Sound quality is MUCH better than many other desktop speakers I've owned in the past. Sound quality is much better than any system without a subwoofer, and much better than any other product in this price range. CONs: * This speaker system does not support Bluetooth connection. I use it connected to my computer, so using a wire connection is not an issue. * The subwoofer requires a wired connection to the satellite speakers. Many similar products have wireless subwoofer (sub only needs an AC power connection). In this product, all the cost goes into sound quality, not wireless connections. * The subwoofer is not pretty to look at. If a pretty subwoofer is important to you, and you don't care as much about sound quality or are wiling to pay 3x or more the $, there are better options. * The wire which connect the right satellite to the subwoofer is relatively thick. If nearly invisible wiring is important to you, and you don't care as much about sound quality or are wiling to pay 3x or more the $, there are better options.

I have really enjoyed this system. The first thing I noticed is the power coming from the bass. It is certainly better than my previous unit. The stereo separation is noticeable as well. If you like, you will be able to play this system at a loud level. The system holds up very well maintaining clarity through treble, mid, and bass. For a computer stereo system and for the price this purchase is a marked improvement for me. I I think you would have to spend a fair amount more in order to improve upon the sound.

My old Logitech speakers finally died after about 12 years so I decided to purchase a new set. After researching different sets i decided on this one and i am glad i did. It is very easy to set up and it sounds amazing! It has great bass and i really like that it has the volume control on the smaller speaker since my old one had a separate cord on top of the sub for volume. My moms logitech speakers just quit working a few days ago and i convinced her to purchase these for her computer also. She loves the way they sound and said its a great update from her little $20 set she had. I would highly recommend these.

I don't know if I've ever rated any product a full 5-stars, but this Logitech speaker system certainly deserves it. Not only does it sound great, but everything about it, including the connections, exudes quality. Logitech certainly knows computer speakers. I hesitated to pay over $100 for computer speakers, but I listen to a lot of music at my computer. And while my old computer speakers, an older, less expensive Logitech X240 2.1 system sounded good, they just didn't have the power for loud volume without distortion. (They currently provide rich audio for my TV.) No problem with 200-watts of distortion free RMS power with the new Z623 system. I cannot recommend this speaker system highly enough.

The bass adjustment is a great touch to these. Great for movies and sports! More of a multi-purpose speaker setup and not specifically for music, so that could be a downside for many. It gets the job done but nothing too special. Cable from the sub to the left speaker is quite short for bigger desk setups

Bought these Logitech Z623 computer speakers after my 14 year old Klipsch Pro Media set died a fast death. I thought I would be trading down but after hearing these I traded up. Set-up is so easy and intuitive Logitech doesn't even provide a guide. I have a lot of music on my computer and I definitely heard content I never heard before. This set is more powerful then I expected. The speakers give a clear, crisp sound and the bass is strong, There are knobs for volume and bass adjustments on the right speaker so you can dial in just what you want. The whole set is compact so it won't take up a lot of space on your desk.

I love great audio and have a good mid-range $500 5.1 speaker system setup for when I need that sound at home, but I wanted some decent speakers that could be use for a smaller space and the 5.1 system was definitely an overkill for that. If you are shopping for some decent quality speakers without a huge budget, but aren't sure what to get, this may help you. (TLDR: It depends on what you are looking for) For comparisons, I have/had the Klipsch Pro Media 2.1, The Logitech Z623 2.1 speakers, and a 2.0 speakers Edifier e25 Luna. All of these speakers I would say can fill a small room easily with sound, but aren't designed for big parties. The Pro Media and Z623 are closest in comparisons as they are both 2.1 speaker systems and are at a close price point when on sale. The z623 is slightly cheaper ($80), but is offset by the fact that it doesn't have bluetooth (could be a con, see below) and is slightly inferior in sound quality to the Pro Media ($100). The Edifier for a side comparison is a 2.0 speaker system that is significantly more than the other two when comparing sale prices as well (~$130-$160). Of course your mileage may vary with sale pricing. Overall, I would say the Klipsch has the best sound quality of the 3. It has the best all around sound in the frequency spectrum. I would say to get this one if not for one HUGE caveat that stopped me from buying it -- It has bluetooth that cannot be turned off. This means that if you have the system permanently setup, it's possible neighbors or people nearby can connect to it and ruin your life without you having any control over it. Deal breaker for me. There are non-bluetooth models around, but I haven't seen them on sale much. The Z623 was about $20 cheaper when on sale than the Klipsch, and has great bass and treble, but I found the mid range a little lacking in comparison to the highs and lows. This can be relatively smoothed out by using software equalizers to be better, but it was worth mentioning if you like/need having out of the box balanced sound. For the price though, they are still very good sounding and I wouldn't hesitate to buy these again at the sale price. Finally, for a comparison with a 2.0 setup, the Edifier e25 Lunas are beautiful speakers and also the most expensive of the bunch. Lacking a subwoofer, it's instantly noticable for music or SFX that has a lack of low frequency bass ~60hz or less. No amount of equalizer can compensate for the speakers not having a subwoofer. However for everything that heavy bass emphasized, it was fantastic. Ironically this was also a positive in my book because I wanted speakers that could play great music without bothering my neighbors at night. These speakers also have bluetooth that anyone can connect to, but the bluetooth can be turned off. So what's the best of the bunch? It depends on your needs. All I can say is that I wouldn't hesitate to get either the Z623 or Edifier e25 on sale as long as you understand their limitations.
