The Z623 speakers sound incredible. I am what most would consider an audiophile. The z623 really sound very, very good. For the money I don't think you'd find anything else (comparable) that creates the clean highs, mids and bass! These are the closest thing I've found that have quality sound similar to Bang & Olufsen H9i headphones (which cost around 4-5 hundred).
I haven't run them past around 50% volume simply because that is more than loud enough for my use ...so I can't comment on the sound quality at their top 20% volume.
It is very nice that you can adjust the bass level to your preference and type of music.
The only real down sides for some people might be the size of the sub. It is pretty big (roughly 1' x 1' x 1') but sounds much bigger. And the other is that the speaker cable (for the right speaker with the controls on it) is proprietary and not very long so you can't have the speakers too far apart (plenty for a typical computer desk though)
I'd definitely recommend this set to anyone. Great sound and plenty of volume

Powerful and Immersive Sound: Logitech Z623 System

Introduction:
I’ve been using the Logitech Z623 2.1 Speaker System since May of 2021, and it’s been a solid addition to my desktop setup. This review will highlight the pros and cons of this speaker system, hopefully providing potential buyers with essential information to make an informed decision.
Pros:
Immersive Sound Experience: The Logitech Z623 delivers a powerful and immersive sound experience. The 2.1 channel system is 330 TOTAL watts, with 130W going to the 7” ported subwoofer and 100W per satellite speaker. This amount of power ensures clear audio and deep, rich bass. I found that the audio quality was quite good whether I was gaming, watching movies, or listening to music.
Robust Bass Performance: The subwoofer in this system is outstanding given the price point. It adds depth and intensity to low-frequency sounds, making explosions, music beats, and action sequences come alive. I live in an apartment building and find myself having to turn the bass down quite a bit. For those in my same situation, this is something to be aware of. If you care about your neighbors, turn this down. If not, have a blast as this woofer can easily fill a medium to large room with thumping bass and make your neighbors hate you.
Convenient Control and Connectivity: The control pad is one of the more convenient features of the Z623 system. On the right satellite, you have easy access to volume adjustment, power, and bass control. Additionally, the system provides multiple connectivity options, including RCA and 3.5mm inputs, making it compatible with various devices.
Sturdy Build Quality: The speakers and subwoofer are well-built and feel solid. The satellite speakers have a sleek design that complements any desktop or entertainment setup. The system is built to last and withstand regular use.
Cons:
Lack of Wireless Connectivity: One notable drawback of the Logitech Z623 is the absence of wireless connectivity options such as Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. This means you'll need a wired connection to your audio source, which may limit placement options.
Satellite Speaker Cable Length: The length of the cables connecting the satellite speakers to the subwoofer may be a bit short for some setups. I recently upgraded to a 63x30 inch desktop and found that I was at the limits of the cable lengths. This is especially prevalent if you plan on cable managing as you can quickly run into issue. It's important to consider the distance between the subwoofer and the satellite speakers to ensure optimal placement and positioning.
Lack of Upgradeability: One limitation of the Logitech Z623 is its lack of upgradeability. The connectors used in this system are non-standard, which means you cannot easily replace or upgrade individual components. Furthermore, the subwoofer cannot be used independently without the satellite speakers, limiting your flexibility in configuring or expanding your audio setup.
Limited Equalizer Options: While the sound quality of the Z623 is excellent out of the box, some users might desire more customization options. The system lacks advanced equalizer settings, which may restrict audio fine-tuning to personal preferences. This is not a huge issue, as software EQ can get the job done in most cases.
Additional Information:
Power Requirements: The Logitech Z623 requires a power outlet for operation. Ensure you have a nearby power source available for the subwoofer and speakers.
Compatibility: The Z623 is compatible with a wide range of devices, including computers, laptops, gaming consoles, TVs, and DVD players. Ensure that your device has an available RCA or 3.5mm output for connection.
Room Size Consideration: The Logitech Z623 is well-suited for medium-sized rooms but may be overkill for smaller spaces. Make sure to consider the size of your room and your desired audio experience when choosing a speaker system.
Conclusion:
The Logitech Z623 2.1 Speaker System offers an immersive sound experience with powerful bass and convenient controls. While it lacks wireless connectivity and advanced equalizer options, it excels in delivering high-quality audio for gaming, movies, and music. If you're seeking an affordable and reliable 2.1 speaker system for your entertainment setup, the Logitech Z623 is a solid choice.

For 100$ I'm absolutely amazed at the sound output. Highs and mids are very crisp. Bass will hit you in the chest at high volumes. It does take a little adjustment on equalizer to get perfect sound but then again what speakers don't. Would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for the best bang for their buck in the 100$range. I bought for my PC but will more then likely buy another for my tv in separate room.

Having read many reviews, I decided to pull the trigger for this set of 2.1 speakers. I originally have an Altec Lansing 2.1 speaker setup on my previous PC but decided to buy new ones because my original speakers were in storage. The Altec Lansings are from 2007-2008 with the same specs as these Logitech Z623 model by the way.
I can instantly tell you these are way better sounding and much more than I had anticipated. The sound quality is very crisp and very clean. The bass is very deep from the subwoofer and feels very complimentary with the 2 speakers that's included.
I have listened to all types of music (mainly 90s-2000s hits) and they really bring the songs to life. This speaker setup will definitely be loud enough for your entire house to hear (I live in a 2000 sq ft).
Couldn't be much happier with this setup. It is great for the price point but do not let that price point fool you. It sounds better than what you think you would get for it's cost.

These speakers would still even be a great bargain at 200 bucks. The bass hits like nobodies business and has no problem rattling walls and knocking stuff off shelves in my room. The only way I would see anyone even remotely being disappointed is if they were expecting the bass to hit like it was coming from a 12 or 18 inch sub. These speakers are set up in my decent sized bedroom and a majority of the time unless I really want to shake things up, the bass knob never goes past half and it still hammers. Now if I had to critique anything the sat. speakers can be a little too high pitched but really isnt a problem considering there is EQ options in most anything you are using the speakers for to remedy that. Also the volume control after you get to about the half way mark is very sensitive as to how fast the volume increases in comparison to getting to the half way mark. If you do want to crank up the volume you want to turn the sub down a fair bit and adjust it back up just to be on the safe side HA HA. For the price I got these at I wish I bought 2 or 3 of them and just put them up. These speakers are great watching movies, playing video games and I have yet to play a style of music that did not sound good on them. I ran them through the bass music and I listen to mainly metal and this sub brings double bass to life and rattles your insides. If you are not an audio snob who needs a 5,000 dollar rig to listen to music you will not be disappointed in any way with these speakers and that is my opinion :)

I purchased this unit because it is certified by THX. Anyone who wants quality speakers should get THX certified speakers. These speakers are amazing. At half volume they can be heard throughout my house. The quality of the cables is good, and I'm not worried about them breaking. I like the simple design of the speakers, although they look ever so slightly dated. Something about not having a front cover even though it looks like there are 4 mounting holes for a cover. Overall, the sound quality is amazing. I love listening to songs with deep bass, and these speakers are amazing for that. The sub really moves some air. I'm very happy with the speakers, and if you have $120 to spend on speakers, you won't go wrong here. I'll update if anything ever breaks on these speakers.

I would rate this as a 10 if possible. I went through sound bar after sound bar for my computer, since I have my XBOX One S connected to it. The all around sound of these are very nice, and the bass is crazy. For this being as small as it is, compared to some of the subs that came with other sound bars, this thing wins with no contest. I even purchased the JBL 5.1 with the gigantic sub, and this Logitech beats it. Plus I love that you can eliminate the bass completely. The other thing that I love about these, is the THX certification. Absolutely love! I had THX certified sound in my SUV and I loved it, and having it with these speakers is a huge plus. I highly recommend these. You will not be disappointed because they never will disappoint you!

No need to spend more to get great sound. This is a powerful compact speaker system. I can't put the volume knob anywhere past half way it's that strong. Full bass with the sub! Great for music - gaming and online chats.

Well I'm impressed! I've had many 2.1 setups over the years and this has to be the best sounding for the money. I usually struggle to get the volume I prefer when listening to loud music but I'm more than satisfied with this setup. I'm being serious they're crazy loud and clear along with booming bass! The speakers sound great out of the box, but I used software to tweak some sound settings and it really brings this setup to another level. Writing this review literally 1 hour after setting them up. I just had to brag on Logitech for this.

Folks. I was a bit skeptical just like everyone else because it's a Logitech. But man was I wrong. These speakers sound better than the Sony soundbar with sub woofer that I bought. Waaayyy better. You can just hear all the separate sounds of glass breaking, gunfire from left to right etc. in movies very clearly. In addition, the bass is phenomenal. It isn't that weak punchy sound. It is a deep rumbling bass. Also, this thing gets really, really loud and I love the fact that you can adjust the bass volume if you don't want to wake the neighbors at night. The bass volume knob is conveniently on the one of the front speakers on your desk so you don't have to go on the floor or wherever the sub is to adjust the sub volume. The reviews are true. Very much worth the money!!

Fantastic sound quality, rich bass, and highly powerful.
Upgraded from Klipsch 2.1 THX speakers and I was worried I would lose sound quality from those. I'm happy to report that I was wrong. I did have to buy a RCA cable extension for 1 satellite because of my placement / desk configuration, so be aware you may need that.

Logitech loves that you upgraded to the Z623 2.1 and it met your expectations! Deep sound you can feel, even compared to your previous THX speakers. Tip: Glad you mentioned the RCA cable extension - that's a handy detail for others to know about speaker placement.

I read the reviews at the store when trying to decide which set of speakers to buy as my previous set lasted 12 great years before they gave up and I was looking for something as good or better. When I buy anything I want quality and longevity out of the stuff I buy. Price is a plus but I would rather spend a lot of money for good stuff then cheap garbage that only last a couple of years. And after comparing specs with the other sets at the store and reading reviews I bought this set and they do not disappoint. The sound quality is great and they have really good power with no distortion at high levels, nice bass, very crisp. I expect theses will last me a very long time, definitely a good buy.

Nice and compact. Good sound. Works well for my desktop computer. Use for music as well as video. It took a little bit getting use to adjusting the sound with the volume control on the computer , the music source control you were listening to and the speakers system itself but once that was done it was great. I liked the ease of setup. I only wish the speaker wires were a little longer from the sub to the other speakers. but made it work. So quite pleased with this system over all.

The bass adjustment is a great touch to these. Great for movies and sports! More of a multi-purpose speaker setup and not specifically for music, so that could be a downside for many. It gets the job done but nothing too special. Cable from the sub to the left speaker is quite short for bigger desk setups

This little set up bumps!
I bought this for my son to use on his PC for gaming. It's ridiculously loud for a little sub and two towers.
For $100 you would not be expecting this type of power that's for sure, I wasn't.
It bumps as loud as some of my old car systems did. Not even exaggerating!.
Playing games it is awesome!
Lots of details come through the towers.
Very clear!
Outstanding bass for the size.
It's loud.
It's not a $1000 system by any means but it will do just as good if your not wanting to spend $1000!. Best $100 I ever spent for a sound system. I recommend and would buy it again for my self.

This Logitech system sounds really good. I had bought one a few of years ago that I gave to my nephew when he needed it recently. It works now just as good as new. I bought a new one for a TV I just got, also from Best Buy. For this price you can't go wrong. The subwoofer is way better than most computer speaker systems have. It is good enough for home theater set-ups, which is saying a lot. It gets loud enough to bother people in the next room for sure, it sounds like a subwoofer you buy separately. Very strong bass and deep. The two satellite speakers do a good job of not getting overpowered by the sub and also sound really good. I like that the subwoofer isn't wireless. I have a soundbar with a wireless subwoofer that's just collecting dust in my garage because the subwoofer refuses to pick up the signal from the soundbar. I paid over $500 for it when it was on sale. I'll probably take it somewhere someday to see if it can be fixed. If there is a weakness to this system it's the connectivity. It has like a three-wire connection for I guess home computers with the separate tower. It has the little headphone wire input...which comes out of your phone, laptop, or TV. It also has the red and white (I guess RCA jack) connection. I don't see why there is no optical cable input. Even so the sound is very clear, so I guess it doesn't matter too much. If you want your music or movies to have good sound, don't buy a system for $50 less that doesn't come close to this one. This sub is five times better than what you will get with the cheaper system. It makes a huge difference. If you are wondering, yes, the satellite speakers get loud too.
